Loved the coffee, it was a perfect pregame to the hike to Waimea falls and the botanical garden. We got the matcha and Ube latte which was a refreshing wake up call. The staff were really nice and the drinks were out within 10 minutes. The specialty drinks were really interesting.

Pleasantly surprised on the quality of the food within this "touristy" spot. We got the shoyu chicken and the veggie burger with fries. The fries were perfectlyyy crispy. Everything was yummy! Service was great as well!

Burger combo (they forgot the fries; got it after informing them of mistake). Salty burger. Good with beer.

Not bad! Really surprised that they had simple spam musubi to a gourmet beet salad that was reasonably priced for the amount. I would eat that refreshing beet salad again! Also, the bar right next to it is typical $8 per beer to $12-16 mixed drinks for those that need the cool down after the long trek back. Shared a beef burger with zuchinni. Didnʻt expect the zuchinni to be deep fried battered zuchinni. Thought would be grilled so that was disappointing and the patty was salty. Washed it down with beer which made it delish. Ahi fish burger is tasty! Chicken plate- meh. Loved the kope cafe on right.

I was expecting meh food but it was quite good. The chicken and fries were tasty and went quickly. Also appreciated that they had an unsweetened tea option for drinks. Tad slow service but I am on island time so all good.

We grabbed some food here on the way out after walking through to Waimea Falls. It smelled so good and the hurricane fries caught my eye. They have plenty of seating but we took it to-go instead. There was a sign on the window to request any utensils or bags. When our food was ready, I asked if we could get a bag since I didn't want anything to spill during our drive and he just said he couldn't give us a bag. No idea why, or maybe they were out of bags, but I thought it was an odd response. Hurricane fries were delicious! The actual fries were cooked nicely and I loved the sauce on top with the furikake. If only they had the option to add meat, it would be a perfect meal. We also ordered the garlic shrimp plate. It was a bit light in flavor and not enough garlic but adding the spicy sambal sauce was good. I even used some of the sauce for the fries. The menu said it came with pickled veggies but it was just a regular tossed salad.

We stopped here to use the restroom and grab some hot beverages before continuing our drive around the island. It was a rainy, chilly day in Hawaii so hot coffee and tea sounded perfect. Hale Kope caught our eye, particularly their cardamom lavender syrup. I chose black tea with the cardamom syrup and my mom had a coffee. The syrup was so good and flavorful. We both enjoyed our drinks. They had great flavor and were served at a good temperature. Plus there was no line when we arrived and the employees are friendly. It was quick, easy, and affordable to grab warm up with a delicious beverage. We recommend this establishment to others!

It contains hydrogenated oils, artificial flavor, polysorbate 60, none -dairy whipped cream topping, shortening, high fructose corn syrup, carrageenan. This isn't a home made pie. This is made at a factory and shipped to the North Shore. If you want quality and "real" food. Don't eat their pies.

If you like shrimp, and can handle a smidge of spice, you'll probably like the Cajun version. However, the limiting factor could be location.
