Great food! I had the grill chicken and my wife had the tofu both were excellent. Glad we stopped after spending the day at the beach.

One of my favorite beaches on the North Shore. Great for snorkeling. Nice shade trees if you don't want to spend the day in the sun.

Super long wait (35 minutes from ordering to getting food) and rather expensive compared to other food trucks in the area.

We did also walk up the road past the Foodland to the "food truck city" where we had some good tacos from North Shore Taco truck.

We sat outside and I noticed a lot of flies and chickens which was kind of annoying! Luckily they have indoor seating! I ordered the plate lunch and it arrived while I was at my car grabbing a sweater to eat inside. My dad said the rooster literally jumped on my plate and grabbed a bite before being shooed away by the restaurant worker. She took the plate away and proceeded to make me a new plate (which was absolutely YUMM). And of course we ate inside! It's a bit chilly in there for someone who runs cold like me so I was glad to have my cardigan!

We find parking in the lot nearby as it is quite large so that was smooth. Go around the corner and find Kono's...no line and there are tables/seats available outside (be prepared to dine with chickens) and even inside. We order the Haleiwa, Waimea, and Local Bomber burritos and this is where things turn. We wait...and wait...and wait..approximately 1 hour for our food! Wow. I get folks are on island time but this is crazy. That said the burritos are quite tasty... so can't complain about that. If you are in a hurry (and yes we wanted to get to the beach early to score parking) then you may want to look at alternatives.

Although some items on the menu were no longer available, they offered us great alternatives, and we ended up having a wonderful dinner. The service was excellent, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the view was absolutely beautiful. We truly enjoyed our evening here and appreciated the kindness and hospitality of the staff. It was a lovely experience, and we would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Even though it's in front of the beach, just to let you know you need to wear a shirt. I came in with a bikini top and was asked to put on a shirt. I don't mind that I understand. So just remember if you're planning to eat here to bring your shirt if you're gonna go to the beach across the street We got the local moco and we also got the garlic shrimp plate. We also got the kids pizza and fries. The fries were different shape so my kid didn't like that lol We also got two mocktails and I can't remember which one it was but one of them was super sour but the other one was really refreshing. Can't really complain because I believe the sour drink with alcohol in. It would've tasted very good lol but we opt out for alcohol and ask for mocktails. We tried the calamari, which I enjoyed way more than my entrée. The garlic shrimp was OK. I liked that it had a lot of sauce and flavor. Can't beat the garlic shrimp trucks, but it was pretty good. The local mall was also really good different. I wasn't too much of a fan of it. Overall experience was great. The service was nice. The parking was easy to find the ambience was beautiful outdoorsy love that. Definitely gives that beach house vibes for sure.

In a league of their own! Probably one of the top three burgers I've had, maybe even #1 (Facts). Seven Brothers is famously known for their huge, gourmet stacked burgers, fresh local shrimp plates, and a family-friendly North Shore vibe! Whoever is cookin back there is doing it with that Aloha spirit 100%. I tried one of their top sellers- Shez's Paniolo- it's topped with bacon, melted American cheese, grilled pineapple, homemade onion rings, and house BBQ sauce- chefs kiss! The caramelization on the double patties, and the crispy edges were amazing! The onion rings were meaty, lightly battered and packed with flavor! My wife ordered the Spencer Burger (without jalapeños)- served with a crispy onion ring and delicious bacon, swiss cheese, and drizzled with Spencer sauce! Both burgers 11/10!!! The house fries were equally delicious (medium thick, oval shaped, and well seasoned). We also ordered a chocolate peanut butter shake and a vanilla shake! AMAZING! Overall, I can't say enough about these guys! Service was on point, staff were super friendly and chatty. Dude who rang us up came to our table to chat and make sure we had everything we needed- very classy! This place absolutely over exceeded my expectations! Mahalo!

They make them in a unique way, pressing the dough on a waffle iron so the outside comes out crispy and crunchy while the inside stays chewy. The four-pack is the way to go--plenty for one person and shareable for two, but I wouldn't try splitting it beyond that because you'll definitely want more than one for yourself. I've also tried the coxinha and the ham and cheese pastel, which were good, though not as much of a standout as the pao de queijo. Everything is served very fresh, so fresh in fact that I burned my mouth on the pastel because of the steam pocket inside, so it's worth letting things cool a little before biting in. Seating is all outdoors at picnic tables with umbrellas, and while there's usually space available, you might need to share a table if it's busy. There's no cooling, so it can get hot during the day even with the shade. Parking is on the street out front. I've never had trouble finding a spot, but pulling in and out can be tricky if there's traffic going by. Overall I'd give Crispy Grindz 4 stars. The pao de queijo alone makes it worth stopping for, while the other items I tried were good but not the best I've had. I haven't tried the bowls or other menu items, so I can't comment on those, but if you're in the area the pao de queijo is something I definitely recommend.

The acai was not as sweet as I'm used to, which is a personal preference. The acai was a bit watery though so it was a bit hard to eat. However, the amount of toppings was very generous and the fruits were good. The portion didn't really seem worth it for the price though. The vibes were overall good here though, the truck is kinda like a surf truck. Like how they feature local surf news and riders. The service was also good as well, workers were very nice and we didn't have to wait too long for our acai. Not bad at all, but not the best acai in Haleiwa or on island.
