If you're looking for a light snack, this is the place. I would recommend the onigiri because it's portable and affordable. It can be quite filling. I visited on 10/14/26 after wandering down College. I wanted something quick and not too heavy. I ordered the spicy tuna poke and a salmon onigiri. Even though the spicy tuna was the light version, it was super filling that I couldn't eat the onigiri so I saved it for my husband. I liked that the spicy tuna plate came with grilled edamame which had a nice smoky flavor, only thing is the black char gets on your fingers when you eat it. Other than that I loved how they added large chunks of salmon in the onigiri. It was more salmon than rice which was nice. I def will be back! read more

Great spot for an affordable and satisfying quick lunch. I usually order online for pickup and bring it home, but this would also be a great meal to grab for a picnic. I've tried the salmon, shrimp, and spicy tuna onigiri. The salmon tends to be a bit dry and overcooked, but the shrimp and spicy tuna are much more moist and taste fresher. For something more filling, the short rib galbi plate is very satisfying--just make sure to sprinkle on the chili and sesame seeds they have on the side. The spicy tuna is still so good and I surprisingly enjoyed their beef taco as well. Staff is very kind and they are quick. It is a quick stop and go spot! The inside is very small so it's best to step outside after you order so there is less traffic by the ordering machines. Oori Triangles was such a treat! This location is on Shuttuck Avenue. The restaurant is small but the service is quick. Everything is ordered through a tablet. This is a to-go type of business. They had many options and since we wanted only a small treat, we ordered two Onigiris. The Spicy Ahi Tuna was my order and it was delicious! The fish is fresh, and the sauce mix is creamy and flavorful, with a slight spicy kick. The amount of rice is perfect without being overwhelming. My husband has the Double Unagi and wow it came with a lot of Unagi! The unagi had a sweet teriyaki sauce that wasn't overwhelming. We were impressed with the amount of unagi it had. I love Oori Triangles! I came here on multiple occasions and each time I had a great experience. The service here is quick, from placing the order to receiving it, it took no more than 10 minutes! They do not skimp on the filling as you can see in the photos! The meats has that distinct smokey flavor from being cooked on the wok/black top? I love onigiri, plain and simple. Oori delivers everything I want and more when I am craving onigiri! This place is a grab and go spot with no seating inside. Since this spot is located on Shattuck, there are a lot of seating accommodations nearby. I usually eat these across the street near the BART entrance! Service is quick and your order will always be fresh! Some of my favorites have been the spicy tuna, grilled salmon, and short rib triangles. Ingredients are super fresh and good quality. I usually get a box of 3 for a meal, which also comes with a side of edamame. These things are so filling, don't let looks deceive you. Very hefty. I like to eat my triangles with wasabi and a little soy sauce (you can get packets in store when you pick up your order). This place is like a hidden gem. I wish they had more fish flavors. I went with the spicy tuna, short rib and spicy chicken. The short rib was a little too heavy for me. Felt fatty and saucy. The spicy tuna was my favorite. The spicy chicken had a really strong kick! These triangles are very large in size, I could have done just 2 instead of 3. Oori's location wasn't hard to find and the shop was small with limited eating areas. There was about two standing counters where you can either snack on your rice balls or gather some extra condiments and napkins! It is more of a grab and go type of store, and I had just found public tables near by to eat outside. There were about three kiosks to order from or you can chose to order at the cashier. Shortly after I placed my order the rice balls came out quickly. There was a good variety of rice balls and plates to choose from, and I had tried the Double Unagi, Grilled Salmon and Short Rib rice balls. Since I opted to order the pick your own 3 Rice balls, it came with a side of edamame. Of the three rice balls I would highly recommend the Double Unagi (double just means two pieces of unagi). There is an option for just a regular unagi rice ball, but I think the double is a must. The unagi was crispy on the edges and soft and delicious with every bite. 10/10 would go back just for the double unagi! The grilled salmon would be second place in my order, it was a bit dry and there wasn't a whole lot of flavor. 6/10 The Short rib, sounded the most appealing, but it just didn't hit as I thought it would, the flavor was a bit lacking and there was no sauce to add onto it so I would give it a 4/10. read more

It tasted more salty than flavorful, and I didn't see myself really wanting more of it. The spicy pork on the other hand, was really good. Tons of flavor and definitely spicy, I actually really enjoyed this. They put more meat in these than I actually expected, but both felt like they were lacking a little something.
