The last place I went to did an amazing job and I told her the same thing. Idk if the service was crappy because it was booked under their first time guest offer so the wax was free. I still tipped her $10 but I won't be going back. Also my eyebrows have been itchy ever since. I let her know before she started that my skin is sensitive. But I think she just wanted me out lol I want to say her name was Lara. She didn't feel very welcoming either but maybe she just had a long day.

When I started getting waxed, I went to places like European Wax Center- their appointments were super short and I was often left with tons of left over hair. I always felt like I was wasting my money, which in this economy is NOT ACCEPTABLE. I became one of Kayla's clients shortly after she became an Esthetician and I have remained deeply loyal to her since. I have even followed her through 3 different location moves because she is just that good. Kayla is extremely welcoming to everyone. I have recommended many of Kayla's services to my friends and family through the years, including women, men, and our LGBTQIA+ loved ones. Once they tried services with Kayla, they all stayed and have continued to get consistent services. That is seriously how wonderful Kayla is at what she does. I feel so happy after every appointment, and I have never felt uncomfortable despite being practically naked for a wax (I get a Brazilian and underarm wax every 2-3 months). Kayla is professional, thorough, and extremely thoughtful. She will remember what you talked about at previous appointments and make it a point to bring them up again. She cares so deeply for her clients and I was so happy to hear she was branching off to start her own company- Bare Rebellion Esthetics! Her mission as an esthetician is to be as inclusive to every single body out there, which is a mission I proudly support. Book with Kayla at Bare Rebellion, it is seriously worth every penny! She even has spectacular July specials for this summer!
