Hmm I explained when i was filling the papers ; she didn't seem happy that was her problem ; anyway I went back Saturday which the have to use the other arm which to tell the truth I can barely see it; but this time the phlebotomist was awesome ; she did it quick , no bruise , no pain ; her name is Allie; she is wonderful. That's insane. Respect our time. Some of us don't donate for the $50 , we do it because we have a loved one who is alive because of the medicine made by plasma and donors. I am a Doner for over 3 years and considering not returning because this is not the first time. In all fairness this location has been better about the wait times the past few weeks but I can't do this this way with one tech to check in and 30 people waiting. That's just me. To top it all off, once I got a chair, I sat for 35 minutes before I even got stuck. Welcome to the Wild wild West . If you come here I hope you don't have any plans for the whole day.

The building is modern and clean and very well maintained. The parking is nice and spacious. They observe veterans and welcome them . The entry has two small fridges with waters and juices plus a variety of cookies and snacks for when you leave. I ate some beef the day before and hours ahead of going in, and I passed my iron test. The interview was done, and I was able to select where to lay as my blood was taken. Wonderful experience was due to how professional and friendly everyone was.

This facility opens at 9 on Tuesdays. While waiting I drank water. DRINK WATER! It will make your body more hydrated and take less time to donate! The woman was very helpful. She took her time and very nice! We talked about previous high school instructors at VBHS for the HOSA program and how wonderful they were! She explained everything perfectly as she did it, and waited with me as I was donating (since it was my first time) . I got 2 pair of special socks, a snack, will learn my blood type, will learn if I have the COVID antibodies and helped someone today! DONATE!!

Today I went there believing I had an appointment only to learn that I made a mistake and scheduled at another location. I arrived here two hours before they open and yet there was staff there working. They graciously came to the door and helped me correct my error. I arrived at the other location in time to complete the donation process. These people are very professional and make this process very easy to do. I highly recommend it!!
