Update: I am taking away 2 of my stars. If it wasn't for most of the staff being nice it would be getting no stars. Every time the wait is horrendous. Either hire more staff, OR (because I understand staffing and finding employees is hard right now so i say OR) limit/reduce the amount of appointments allowed. This would result in better performance and less wait. I honestly despise coming because the wait is so long. What's the point of an appointment if you have to wait OVER an hour to even get started So far I'm only giving 4 stars because the wait is INSANE! I had my first donation, but everything took EXTRA long even more so. I understand I'm a new patient but when it takes OVER an hour waiting for each station it's insane. My appointment was for 8:50, I showed up promptly then. I did not leave until 1:20pm. So 4 and a half hours. Double the length it should have taken. The facility is nice and clean, staff is friendly but not clear at all in the beginning on the process or wait length. So we will see how donations go moving forward. But just prepared to have a free day your first time. read more

The location is GROSSLY understaffed with wait times exceeding 3 HOURS in some cases. There are more empty donation stations than occupied and the lines wrap around the facility. I wouldn't recommend this place even if they paid in the thousands. read more

Worst location I've been to by far. Unprofessional as hell. Not watching patients, not paying attention to machines, some not even in full uniform and no sense of urgency. I have been waiting on a bed for approximately 15 mins and still only been asked what's my name. Majority of associates are just standing around. Now i understand why so many talk trash about this location. Caring for patients and their health is key not letting them sit there longer than needed nor should they be allowing anyone to sleep. Phlebotomy does not teach to be lazy or to sit on your ass it teaches you to help make more medicine for those in need. I been donating for 6 years this was my second time to this location thinking it'll be different from the 1st visit. Hell no this plasma center needs to close down and allow another center to open. This is why I choose grifols plasma centers read more

Two weeks ago, the "new girl" blows up my arm because she basically doesn't know what she is doing. She fumbled and hesitated and didn't appear to be confident in what she was doing. After she stuck me, I looked and to my amazement, the needle was all the way in! Now she's trying to withdraw it because there's no flow because she's not in the vein but, all the way through it! I know she's new because when things went wrong and someone stepped in to try to correct what she did wrong, I asked "how new is she"? She replied "new". Which to me implies very new and probably isn't ready to be sticking needles in someone's arm. So, now I have a hematoma the size of a wallnut and I'm deferred until it heals. There goes all my money for 2 weeks along with bonuses. But wait, there's more! I return after 12 days all healed up.But, before I donate I have to speak to management to discuss what happened on my last visit. Then, I go to vitals. She takes my blood pressure and says it is 184/97! That is impossible I stated. My blood pressure 2 hours before was 127/77. So, how the hell does my systolic go up 60 points in 2 hours? It doesn't! Maybe if I did 2 lines of coke and chased it down with 10 cups of coffee I could get it that high. It's because they don't know how to take blood pressure either. They are always using the wrong size cuff for one thing. Just look up how to properly take BP. The first thing mentioned is sitting with your feet flat on the floor relaxed etc. How can you sit relaxed, feet flat on the floor when you're sitting on a bar stool that's 4 feet high? So, then she tells me my "hematocrit" is low also. Of course I don't believe her for multiple reasons but if she can't take BP properly, well, you know. It gets even better. I get home and try to schedule an appointment for the next day but I can't because it says I'm deferred. That is ridiculous so I call customer service and get absolutely no where with those people. You shouldn't be deferred for BP and hematocrit. BTW, good luck if you have to get in touch with the donation center. Its not happening. I don't remember seeing anywhere on the risk poster "beware of knuckle heads". I'm tired of paying for THEIR MISTAKES! They don't even give compensation when it is so obviously THEIR FAULT! read more

You show us that you really don't give a hoot when there is only one tech doing check in vitals and there are at least 25 people waiting for vitals. The line snakes all through the building. That's insane. Respect our time. Some of us don't donate for the $50 , we do it because we have a loved one who is alive because of the medicine made by plasma and donors. I am a Doner for over 3 years and considering not returning because this is not the first time. In all fairness this location has been better about the wait times the past few weeks but I can't do this this way with one tech to check in and 30 people waiting. That's just me. To top it all off, once I got a chair, I sat for 35 minutes before I even got stuck. Welcome to the Wild wild West . If you come here I hope you don't have any plans for the whole day. read more

It's like being in Havana Cuba. Maybe put on more generic music at a reasonable level.

Worst company go to octapath or CSL plasma if you take a break and come back they renew your new donor bonus at other locations and often have better compensation. If your giving your time make sure it's at a place that will treat you well! read more

Didn't feel welcomed here at all. The staff seem distracted with their conversations and other things; they don't honor any promotions that the website has in place; and the supervisor doesn't care. I don't mind helping people but, c'mon guys, try harder. read more

Honestly this place is the worst. It's nice that you can donate plasma and help people, but be prepared to waste your whole day. I've never been here at a time where it wasn't insanely packed. You have a MINIMUM three hour wait every time. Staff stands around and talks to each other instead of helping people. Also, the coupons and bonuses are a joke. A nurse gave me a coupon and when I tried to redeem it with the staff they refused to honor it saying I had used it already. Employees and management wouldn't do anything to help and then I had to go stand around and wait in another long line before I could donate. read more

Extremely helpful employees, a good cause and a very clean facility. But, for the time being, it is very slow, and you can see where staffing issues causes this. Try to come here at odd hours to help your wait. I average 2 hours per visit. read more

By far the worst plasma donation spot ever. Not one but twice came here from Poinciana was refused due to their system issues. They lured me back with a return donor bonus. I scheduled my appointment on the app. Now the app will not allow you to schedule an appointment to donate when you are due for a physical and instead will have you scheduled a physical. Again this did not happen and instead was told to schedule a donation. I did everything correctly. When I arrive they tell me the system has issues and that i need to return another day. They refused me a phone number for corporate or the site supervisor. They said to call the main number which is funny because no one ever answers the phone there, ever. No accountability and no respect for the donors. Do not waste your time!!!!!! Go to Biomat on Main St. They actually respect their donors. read more

The worst experience. My appointment was at 5:30 and I didn't sit down to donate until 7:15. It then took them another hour to come hook me up. Since I had been there for 3 hours, I asked for a snack so I wouldn't pass out. They told me no, and that since I hadn't eaten they would no longer let me donate. I will never be returning. read more

Horrible place to donate while screening all the employees do there is gossip while there's a long line ! They will look at you eye to eye & continue talking while there's one person screening . like why not hop in & help the employee screening ? Hard working team and friendly staff! If you want to donate you have to make an appointment! They also have an app called "BioLife Plasma" it makes checking in and seeing your card balance very easy. Terrible customer service. They gave me an appointment for 3:10pm. Never did they say that it is first come, first serve. I get there at 3pm. They take my DL, ask me to write my SSI on a post it and to go sit down in a room. 45 minutes later, I go to the receptionist and ask why I haven't been called. "The time we have you it's the time you need to be in the building, but we see people in order of arrival". If that's the case, please don't bother giving an appointment time. I ask for my DL and the post it note back (mind you, she's asked my name 3 times already and told me there's 4 people ahead of me). She offers to throw away the post it note for me. I shake my head. I walk out and ...I have someone else's DL and SS# I go back in and tell her, "you have me someone else's DL and SS#" No apology, nothing. "What's your name again?" NEVER AGAIN WILL I STEP FOOT IN THAT PLACE read more

Yes, this facility does experience high volume of plasma donors (old and new). Of course it can be very frustrating having to wait at times but I just want everyone that reads this to know that the employees here are very respectful, helpful, and understanding. I love all the staff and the motivation they have to get the job done correctly! read more

After 4 hours just to get approved to donate, I began the process. The 2nd time I went, with an appointment, I had to wait over half an hour just to get checked in to begging the normally 45 min process which took me 3 more hours. I asked for a manager and told there wasn't one and the lady was very rude and condescending with no regards for the doner's time whatsoever. The next visit I couldn't wait again because I had to go to work and this place was STILL taking appointments even though they could not accommodate. This time I got a manager who told me it was cooperate and the website & that she apologized but there was nothing they could do. Then the hurricane came and I was disqualified from the promotion. I have left 12 messages since without a single response. Absolutely disgusting. read more

What's the point of having a phone line if you don't answer? I called at 6 different points on two separate days , even left a message and not a single response. Do better. read more

This place has no system or organization. Here is what will happen if you come here. 1 You'll make and appointment for say 11am and you get there 10mins early. You'll be given a buzzer and told to wait in the car because they already can't keep up with the people from the morning 2 Now you won't get into the building for at least another 45-60mjn meaning your appointment didn't mean anything to begin with 3. Stand in first line for another 20-30 min to get blood tested to see if you can donate. Even tho you haven't eating anything because you been waiting on them for over an hour so you might fail and not be able to donate 4. Wait in next line for another 45-50 min for a bed 5. Get in a bed but wait another 20-30 min before someone comes to hook you up to donate. Depending on how hydrated you are at this point you could be in there for another 45-120 min donating. So I'm going to look for a different company to donate with because I don't want to spend 3-5 hours here every time I donate which usually take me 30-45 min once hooked up. read more

I have been donating consistently at BioLife for 2 months. I have worked to build a relationship with the staff to make my donation flow and keep their work running smoothly. I had a few snags, and overall very happy with the professionalism and way the team continously handles me as a donor and the value of their staff. It has been a great experience and I don't take for granted my health. Their promotions for earning has been very consistent over $700 my first month and well over $500 for my 2nd month. read more

I wish there was another location that wasn't so far because this place is rock bottom now. Doesn't matter what type of appointment you set, be ready to sit for hours even if there's no line. I'm new to Florida and new to donating plasma--- they do not have such facilities (that I know of) in north New Jersey where I used to live. I was pretty impressed by this center, it was very clean, the staff were diligent about masking and gloves and they even use special devices to pick up the stray piece of garbage rather than touching it with their hands. Everyone I encountered here was extremely pleasant, polite, professional and helpful, and the donation process itself, once I got on the bed, was relatively quick and painless. Like everyone else, my only complaint is the waiting time to be screened, and sometimes to donate as well, you must wait, wait and wait some more. They staff members are busy zipping around and I did not see anyone goofing off, so it must be a staffing issue where there are simply not enough employees to handle the number of donors that come through the door. Otherwise it's fairly easy money for very little effort. read more

Don't waste your time here. They made me wait for 2 HOURS as a new donor before even registering my information. Then when they began the process, only THEN did they decide to check my veins, and rejected me for not having enough veins for donation. Maybe it would've been a good idea to check my veins FIRST, before making me wait for 2 hours only to reject me later. Also, I've donated probably 20 times at a variety of centers, and all confirmed that I had multiple veins good enough for donation. Whoever is running this place has no clue what they're doing. read more

These ladies don't pay attention to the people. They walk around in circles and ignore the people. I was forgotten about for 3 hours on my first day. They make you stand in line for nothing because even though you sat down and your next they don't come to you to start the donation for like an hour or more and start the person that was behind you first. Badly organized and should do something about it. People have kids and this shouldn't take as long as it is. 7 to 9 hours in this place watching them throw trash away and fold boxes instead of helping people get started. read more

this place sucks! had my first visit 4 days ago and it took the expected 3 hours with the whole signing up regiment. But when i went back yesterday for my second visit and donation only, I could not believe the wait! There was only ONE person doing screening and at least 15 to 20 people in line standing waiting to be just screened. it takes at least 10 to 15 mins to screen someone, so that would have been at least 2 hour wait standing up. At least have a seated waiting room for gods sake! I walked out. GET MORE SCREENERS, or at least limit the amount of appointments. Wish there was a KDI center around here. At least they have lots of screeners and seated waiting!!! very disappointed in this place. read more

Horrible place. They schedule to many people and not enough staff. This has been happening for quit some time and still nothing has changed. This is a prime example of a company taking advantage of us. Either take away some of the time slots or staff more people for the volume.
