Vitals were done, I was soon on the slouchy chair to give up some of my whole blood. There were two employees manning the place that Sunday and three donating in the platelets drive area, which means they were there for at least two hours. My vein was pierced, the life juice went into the prepped baggy, and I received a lovely shirt, and there was even a cute water bottle this month! Because he doesn't speak English, the staff member assisting him was very rude and made him feel uncomfortable and disrespected. Donating blood should be a positive and inclusive experience for everyone, regardless of language barriers. Due to how he was treated, we decided not to donate at all. I hope in the future there is better training in customer service and more patience and understanding toward people who may not speak English fluently.

No other donors were present when we arrived on a late Friday afternoon. The check-in process and completion of required forms takes a few minutes, but it's easily carried out via tablet. The 2 ladies assisting us were friendly and helpful. I had no issues completing the entire process for a successful donation, but my son started to feel woozy while his blood was being drawn. The staff was very attentive, making sure his condition improved using cooling towels, a drink and snack. They encouraged him to take his time recovering, making him feel at ease. I really appreciated their sincere concern and care. The interior of the bus is clean, bright and pretty chilly. Good idea to have a jacket. The rewards you'll receive are a bonus, but giving blood is a very worthwhile, impactful practice that goes a long way to help others.

I arrived to my appointment early per the request of Advent, however , I still had a wait despite being the only person there. Once I was called back, Lorinda was my CT scan technician. She is awesome. I remembered her from the last time I was there. She made sure I was comfortable & she explained the entire process in detail to ease my worries. She also was a pro a finding one of my stubborn veins since I needed to do a scan with contrast. The building is newer and so are the machines. It's clean & a great location.

The doctor has gotten too busy & has more nurse practitioners for new clients. If you wait too long to see him, more than 2~3 years without an appointment, you lose him for regular checkups, & then have to see the NPs instead. He might still perform surgery though if needed for you. Appointments can take months of waiting. Front desk might call back to request health insurance information again. They lost it the first time. To remind you of an upcoming appointment, they call twice to confirm. I prefer working directly with Dr. Moskowitz, due to better communication & better results with him in the past. He's fantastic. I trust his medical skills. Very few good medical & dental professionals in Central Florida, versus South Florida.

A small surgical scar would have been so much better. They are out for quick money. They used old dental equipment for the radiation, I don't think the staff knew what they were doing.

I had concerns about this practice because it is in Winter Park, and given the area, thought they…read morewould be more of an "elective" practice, and not focus on actual medically needed appointments, but I needed treatment, and this is one of the few providers that take my insurance. Well, they did not disappoint. Upon my arrival I was ignored by the front desk receptionist, except for a dirty look from the receptionist because the door slammed, which was an accident. When the receptionist finally decided to get out of her chair, and check the sign-in sheet, I had already sat down, and then she called me back up (I have 2 artificial hips, so getting around can be difficult) and asked for my cards. I told her I was waiting on my physical card, but I had a picture of it, if that was ok. She was hateful and told me no, I'd have to email it, WHICH WAS WHAT I WAS ASKING. From there she became very combative, and I advocated for myself, while trying to comply with her directions, despite being treated like a dog. Additionally, I had an appointment for 915am, and another patient, who had an appointment at 930am was taken back before, me as well as other patients that came in after me, whose appointments were scheduled later. I wouldn't be surprised if that was due to the receptionist. After making me get up and down several times for my cards, and paperwork, after I advised that I had artificial hips and I was having difficulty, another woman, who could barely speak English came out, and told me they would not be treating me, and didn't give me a reason why. After the way I was treated by the receptionist, I was already contemplating leaving because this was not the way to start new treatment with a new doctor. So, instead of arguing, I just left. They clearly cater to the elective patients in Winter Park, and don't really care about the medically needy patients, or the hypocritic oath that the providers take when they get their license. Judging by the prior review, I'm not the only one to have this kind of experience, and I'm sure the positive reviews are the staff trying to CYA. Again, This practice is in an upscale part of town, and clearly caters to its elective procedure patients, and treats its actual medical patients like garbage.
