I was a patient of Dr. Sujika for over 20 years, and he was absolutely outstanding. When Dr. Sujika retired, he highly recommended Dr. Rivera, who was also excellent. Unfortunately, after Dr. Rivera left the practice, my experience declined significantly under the care of Dr. Ong. I have lived with this condition for 26 years, yet Dr. Ong dismissed my diagnosis and suggested yoga as a solution. This was not only inaccurate but incredibly frustrating and invalidating. IC is a complex medical condition, and it is not something that can simply be resolved with yoga. Not to mention I have been treated for this condition by other urologists in Orlando and in Georgia, and Germany when we lived abroad for 10 years. Based on my experience, I would NOT recommend Dr. Ong and strongly encourage others with chronic conditions like IC to seek care elsewhere. I would give him a "zero" if I could.

At my free consultation with Dr. Brian White he explained to me all the different types of regenerative medicine that would help my knee pain. I had Tommy John surgery in 2005 by the team surgeon in Michigan, and developed arthritis and pain in my elbow after. Dr. White had a great reputation from teammates and friends so I sought him out to figure out what steps could be taken to help my pain. Getting scheduled and seen was painless. The front office staff was attentive and courteous. Dr White was also a great guy. I felt that he took an active interest in my injury and making sure we find a solution to my pain. It is a pretty big office. The front desk staff is very nice and helpful. The only thing I can say about the quality of care is that I was not able to experience it because it is booked all the time and they don't make appts for the service I needed.

They have medical assistants practicing outside their scope of practice ( bladder installations with medications) doing procedures only an RN or higher should be doing. When I complained to the ARNP about this coupled with a lack of sterile procedure and lack of lidiocaine to numb the area that should have been by the medical assistant, she said she would "take care of it". The next call I got was from the practice manager. Are you sitting down? Her call was to "release me" from the practice in the middle of a treatment for bladder pain. It gets better. Today I get a letter from the ARNP- NOT the doctor -"releasing me" from the practice, but willing to treat me until November 15th. It is now October 20th. You think I am going to ever set foot back in there? I have been a patient of that practice for over 15 years. In that time many physicians have left. I have had 3 different urologists here. I have never in my life been treated by a medical practice in this manner. Advent Health this practice is a disgrace! I use many physicians from their medical groups and I have never been anything but happy with every single doctor and staff member. The entire support staff needs a huge overhaul and understand what the term scope of practice defined by the Department of Regulations means.

Not information shared at the time I made the appointment. The receptionist said they are running about 15 minutes behind. That was 20 minutes ago. It's now 3:55 and I am still waiting. At what point are these medical facilities going to be held accountable for their tardiness. Patients would be turned away if we were that late. Finally called back, to just be taken to another waiting area. It's now past 4pm and still waiting. Staff is nice and polite over all.

This does not support patient focused care and makes it very hard on the patient, without having an advocate or family member it is too taxing to run around and doing this in our advanced cyber world. For the patient it is about life and death, not competing with other companies or revenue. I spent a LOT of money on a test that was not given to me freely via the patient portal and for my Doctors.
