I am claustrophobic and almost immediately had a bad panic attack and was removed from the machine. Stephanie spoke to me in a very calming voice and assured me that everything would be ok, she even offered to stand beside the machine and fan me during the tests because I was over heated. She asked me if it would make me feel better if she stayed in the room with me, I said yes and she did ! The compassion and caring she demonstrated was the only reason that I was able to complete these very important tests. I am so grateful for Stephanie and the Team at Neuro Imaging that I would recommend them to everyone !!! I hope that Stephanie enjoys the flowering plant that I sent to her today :) She deserves it and much more !!!!!!! Thank you Stephanie :)

Wish I could remember the name of the technician who did my MRI because she was so sweet. Two stars because they were playing OAN news on the tv in the waiting room. Normally I don't care what political views a medical place has because it's not my business. But it becomes my business when they play a network that's known for spreading lies and misinformation about COVID-19. If they subscribe to beliefs that COVID-19 is fake, CDC guidelines don't help, etc., how am I supposed to feel safe here? It's a medicinal clinic with older patients. I'm entering an enclosed space during an MRI. I didn't realize what OAN was until after my appointment, otherwise I would've cancelled my appointment and gone somewhere else. I'm glad I have my COVID vaccine already otherwise I would've gotten tested immediately afterwards. If you don't care about covid guidelines then by all means, please go because the staff was wonderful. But if you do care, err on the side of caution and try somewhere else.

I walked into Women's Center for Radiology, also known as Solis Mammography, feeling a little…read morenervous. Breast cancer runs in my family, so having a screening mammogram is already an uncomfortable and emotional experience for me. After checking in, one of the receptionists asked if I had an appointment and requested my prescription. I handed it to her, and she immediately said something under her breath in Spanish to another receptionist while pointing at my prescription. Naturally, I asked, "Is there something wrong?" The other receptionist then asked me how old I was. I remember thinking, Why is my age relevant? I'm there for a screening mammogram, I'm already nervous, and my prescription clearly had my information on it. I told her I was 33 and asked why my age was important. She immediately responded that I was "not old enough" for a mammogram and that my insurance wasn't going to cover it. I asked if they had actually contacted my insurance company to verify that. How could they know what my insurance would or would not cover without checking? As it turns out, my insurance does cover screening mammograms. But at that point, the issue was much bigger than insurance coverage. What really bothered me was the lack of sensitivity and professionalism shown by both receptionists. Breast cancer does not discriminate based on age, race, gender, or background. And neither receptionist knew whether I was paying through insurance, paying out of pocket, or had another reason for having the screening at my age. Patients should not feel judged, dismissed, or made to feel like they don't belong when seeking medical care--especially when they are already nervous about a potentially serious health concern. This was my first experience with Solis, and unfortunately, it will be my last. I hope the staff receives additional training on professionalism, communication, and treating every patient with empathy and respect.

Love this location…read more Had surgeries here and also as an inpatient as well in the past - Located in downtown orlando near the ronald mcdonald house and orange ave. The parking is free here at the garage and they offer valet parking as well I am not sure if the valet is complimentary. When you park on level 3 in the garage - there is a pathway to get you to the inside of the hospital entrance. The escalators will drop you down the main lobby, Advent health is big on customer service surveys and it reflects how they treat pts / visitors here. I like strolling through the gift shop here cause they do have cute items but it is pricey. The cafeteria is pricey but its there if you need a quick food fix when you are hungry.

I had to wait in the lobby while she was seen, but the receptionist was nothing but pleasant to both of us. He was very thorough on explaining the next steps and keeping me informed on where mom was in the process. Mom said she was happy with the procedure. The Rad tech was very polite and calm with her and they played some music to drowned out the noise (something she was looking forward to since her last MRI was a poor experience elsewhere). Advent Health almost always does a wonderful job with care for my family. I highly recommend this location.
