There are a couple people who do a fantastic job here. And I'm sorry to you ladies that I must leave this review. But when you go to a place and you have 50/50 chance of loving your results, or destroying your eyebrows, it's a one star for me. My fault, really--when someone who doesn't have her own eyebrows done motions for you to get in a chair, don't do it. First, I have small eyebrows to begin with. I came for shape. For the first time ever in my decade of threading, this stylist threaded above my brow, which took out some integral hairs that resulted in a bald patch. Then, when I asked for more of an arch, with a picture, of myself, with the arch I asked for, and pointed where I would like the arch, instead of making more of an arch, my eyebrows were made thin, with the arch in the wrong place. Instead of brushing up the hairs and trimming, she threaded them off and they were thinning in the top as well. When I got home, more hairs fell out. It's rare I'd leave a review with anything other than positive things to say, but it was making me upset, filling in the bald patch on my eyebrow, and noticing stray hairs away from my brow that were left, so I thought I'd save someone else the trouble and warn you all to go somewhere else if your regular lady isn't available. read more

Absolutely terrible experience here. I came a week in advance into the store to book a henna appointment the day before I'm leaving to go out of state and when I walked into the store the person that greeted me was absolutely clueless. She said the henna artist is never here on Tuesday's. I let her know I booked in person specifically for Tuesday afternoon and that I even left my workplace early for this appointment. The lady apologized and said the girl that booked our appointment is "new" but anyone working in the front of a business should know the standard schedule availability of the business they work at. Terrible first experience, owner unwilling to even get another artist in to accommodate, and now I'm stuck calling businesses to find an artist. read more

I don't recommend, did not ask me how I wanted my eyebrows done. Just started doing them and gave me a shape that I don't like. It's hard to get the shape you want and keep it. She just did whatever she wanted. Didn't take her time and didn't bother to take off any eyebrows hairs that fell onto my face. I've been coming here for years. They always did a great job. I always got compliments on my brows. I recently took about a year break to let my eyebrows grow out a little thicker. I was very nervous to go back. I was afraid all that hard work (months with hairy brows) would be plucked away in one swoop. Luckily, after explaining to Reena exactly what I wanted, she was able to clean up my eyebrows. Considering that my left brow is naturally much thinner than my right, they came out great. My advice would be, be very clear with what you want. Do just say "clean them up" and expect the person doing your brows to know exactly what you mean. Also, try to stick with the same person every time so they get to know your preferences a little better. Personally, Reena has always done an amazing job for me. read more

I really love this place. Friendly women in a clean, welcoming environment. I have been here a few times to get my brows threaded, each time i got great customer service, I don't think I have ever had to wait here, and i just can't say it enough but the ladies there are SO NICE. i have been many places for a haircut, style, you name it. Nothing, and i mean NOTHING is more distressing to a woman than getting the haircut or style you DO NOT WANT. When my brows were still a little thick and i asked for them to be thinner, she threaded them until they were precisely what i had wanted. Pure torture. Those are the best words to describe this place. If they gave me free threading for a year, I'd rather look like a hairy beast than ever go here again. I've gone here several times before when they first opened because it was convenient if I wasn't at work, where I would go to my normal place. I should have been forewarned when I saw they were looking for new threaders the last time I went there. I walk in and get sat with is new chick....from the first stroke of threading I knew she was new (it's always painful here but this was worse than before). I kept thinking the entire time say something, go to another person...but I felt bad for the chick. I really wish I had listened to myself; she was so slow and it was easily the most painful threading experience I've had. I left no tip because I had sat in torture for 40 minutes. Yup 40 minutes in that chair for her to do my eyebrows and they just needed to be cleaned up! In that time she ruined the shape and threaded so many times in the same spot I had tears in my eyes. The next day I noticed scabs, yes SCABS because she had apparently threaded me raw! Thanks a lot. I WILL NEVER RETURN HERE AGAIN NO MATTER WHAT THE CIRCUMSTANCE! There is a place I go to in Orange (during the week near my work) called Perfect Brows, do yourself a favor and check them out...you will be very very happy that you did. read more

I wish that you could see my eyebrows right now.... then you would know how great this place is!! I had a coupon for **free** threading at this place (and since it's about 2 miles from my parents' house, it's perfect and convenient). I was a little leery about the free part - but, turned out to be unfounded. whew! The girls working in this place (when I went in) are Indian and very nice. The girl who helped me did my brows so fast that before I looked in the mirror, I was worried that they weren't going to be "done" enough for me. Turns out not only were they nice and clean, they were exactly what I had asked for - arch off to the side, lean, but not skinny. Side note: My brows were red for about an hour afterward, but I wasn't (amazingly) in any pain or anything. That went so well, I ended up getting a lip wax and a henna tattoo (fun!). Okay, 1st time trying this place & I'm a big baby when it comes to threading.. Being pregnant I've gotten a lil hairier than I'd like to admit so I tried threading my entire face. Other places I've cried it hurt so much, so I decided to try waxing my face. I went in & asked if they do waxing. One lady said NO & the other one said yes.. I should have taken it as a sign. But thinking it looked like a pretty decent place, I thought I'd give it a try.. The girl was friendly & that's the only reason I gave this place 1 star.. I come here for eyebrow and lip threading and full brazilian waxing. I have been coming to this location for about 2 1/2 years, the women who work in the store are very friendly and the location is clean. I am a germaphobe, so this is key for me. I rarely wait more than 5 mins for waxing or threading, despite the variations in times I have visited. In the waxing room, it's very private, although the wall does not go all the way up to the ceiling so people in the waiting area can hear your conversation. I usually say funny shit just for amusement, but we have a good rapor like that, me and my wax girl. She is indian, and her name is very hard to pronounce, but she is quick. They use a fresh wax stick for EVERY SINGLE layering of wax for the strips. Never stick the same stick in wax after use. That's how it should be and I love that. They also sell a good amount of dermalogica products in the store, they are a bit pricey (cheaper if you go online, obviously) but when I don't want to wait or am not near an ULTA, I know she will have what I need. Love this place. Very clean, quick and friendly. Great at what they do. read more

I've been going here for about a year and they always do a great job with my eyebrows. They not only thread them and shape them, but trim and sooth them with this spray at the end. I have a rewards card with them and my next one is free! Only $8.00 normally, and you get a discount your first time trying it. This place is cheaper than most for eyebrow threading, but my experience was more painful than usual. I'd been getting my eyebrows threaded about every two weeks for a year when my usual place wasn't open and I decided to stop in. I noticed immediately that the place was spotless, and it was a very reasonable price (a special at the time for $5.99 I believe.) The two Indian women present were very nice. They noticed my henna tattoo and complimented its design. However, the actual threading was much more painful than usual. I went in for my first Brazilian wax and the Lady took one look at me and told me that the hair is too small but she continued to proceed with the wax anyway. Not only was i t incredibly painful, but she got wax all over me. She would also get upset with me for not pulling my skin tightly enough for her. Seeing as I informed her this was my first wax she was very rude and made me very uncomfortable. She had stopped half way through and said once again the hair was to small. She told me to come back two days later for them to finish. After it was said and done, I had gone home to notice that my private area which I take very careful care of, was now scabbing over from the skin she had ripped off as well as bloody. I now have patches of hair and scabs all over me. Worst experience ever! Definitely won't be going back and I recommend no one else does either. read more

Also they only had one girl working and had to wait for her to finish 3 girl's eyebrows before she got to me. Two stars for location. I've had my brows done here a few times. The service is bare bones on the friendly front. I've had to endure scabs on my browbone more than once because they use cheap thread, too fast or simply they just don't care. Also they have a user card where if you go X amount of times you get a free visit. Well they honor the free visit but they pass you off to whomever and don't bother with giving you the same service as if you're paying. Not only that did I mention scabs on my browbone from being nicked so hard? I might go back to waxing and start going elsewhere. Then again their location is so tempting. I really love getting a full threading here, the woman who works on me (owner, I think) is very patient, gentle and does a really good job, I love how my eyebrows come out each time. The place itself is very clean and the prices are pretty decent. They also give you a frequent customer card which is cool, I am due for a free threading in 1 more visit. :) On another note... They're prices are right, and I like that they give you package deals if you get 2 or 3 areas threaded during your visit.
