Love this place. Been coming for years and never had a problem. BUT please make sure your employees are wearing masks properly. I visited 10/17 at 10:50 am and a tall blonde female employee had her mask off and put it on when she saw that I walked in. She then put her mask on but only hanging around her chin with her nose fully exposed and mouth visible. Particulates can stay in the air for hours. Got here at 8:20a when their website & sign says they open at 8:00a. It seems to be a recurring issue of opening late & closing early. The worker was just walking up to open up the store. Ridiculous customer service. I have bought dozens of shakes, vitamins, and supplements from this store. I purchased a pre-workout mix on the staff's assurance that I could return it if not happy. Well, it tasted awful and made me sick. Literally sick and had to leave my workout class after 20 minutes. Took it back to the store and, since it had been opened, the store manager would only give me 20% off a new pre-workout mix. I asked how I would know I didn't like it if I hadn't opened it. The manager said that I should have bought a sample first. I asked if they'd give me 2 shakes in replacement (roughly the value of what I had purchased). Nope. One shake. ONS, your corporate policy is getting in the way of your customer service. Never going back. read more

Firstly, the staff here seems to change very often. High turnover like this is a sign of poor management. Secondly, the staff with which I do end up interacting display varying levels of knowledge regarding sports nutrition and supplementation. I myself have studied sports nutrition in both academic settings and on my own. I've seen, right before my eyes, Justin, one of the managers, try to upsell me on an N.O. product (KryptoPump) with L-Arginine. It was amusing to watch him speak with such confidence about something which he knows very little. Not only is that a terrible choice for an upsell, but it also shows a fundamental lack of intellectual competence regarding sports nutrition. That's like upselling a protein blend with more whey protein. Why would you do that. His rationale was that one's body gets used to the KryptoPump but not Arginine--when KryptoPump already has Arginine in it, along with better, more potent NO precursors. You can't just take boat loads of Arginine. The human body has a negative feedback mechanism that releases the arginase enzyme when it senses too high levels of Arginine. Moreover, there isn't enough L-Norvaline in KryptoPump to deactivate the arginase enzymes fast enough to prevent this negative feedback loop. Lastly, this location, and I can assume the other 9 locations that Matt owns continue to sell SCHEDULE III BANNED SUBSTANCES (prohormones and designer steroids); both behind the glass and under the counter. This is not only illegal, but also potentially dangerous to the innocent fitness enthusiasts who frequent this establishment. On top of the incompetence and illegal activity, they never seem to be able to get my protein shake right. Perhaps because it's a new person making it for the first time, every time. Someone ought to report this and the other 9 locations to the local DEA. Below is a pic of one of the SCHEDULE III BANNED SUBSTANCES that this decrepit establishment tried to push on me. Good thing I did my research or I could end up in the hospital! They also sell banned products by Warrior Labz such as: TVAR, TITAN, SPARTAN, DSTEN. Watch out and be safe, people! read more

I love the yogurt choc banana peanut butter slimmer at one stop nutrition, but today, it wasn't very good..it was icy and I don't think it had banana or peanut butter in it...to be fair, I'm not sure. It just didn't taste as good as it usually does, not much flavor. I think your employee today needs a little more training. I only recently came into the shop, because another smoothie place that I wanted to go to is closed. It was very convenient that it was open until nine since I get out of work pretty late since I work in medical. The first time I went in, I was really lucky because the blonde haired guy staff member guided me through the shakes and I chose the strawberry mango nutritional shake. It was so delicious I've brought two of my friends since then and they entered me into the loyalty program. Since then I've bought a couple of more shakes and today I was given my free shake. They were extremely helpful, but didn't feel judgmental or pushy making a sale like certain other nutrition shops can be. Gave some great suggestion, I got chocolate blueberries with coconut milk and my friend got the butterfingers shake with non-fat yogurt (secret menu). Both are post workout drinks, since we came in after the gym and they have a whopping 54 grams of protein for a great deal! Not in the greatest neighborhood, but a great location overall. read more

Besides high turnover, there policy is no returns after opening a container. If you don't open a container and try it out, how would you know the side affects it has on your body? I bought a supplement for $59 for a one month supply and after trying it out after a meal I had an upset stomach. Decided to try it again after dinner and the same thing happened. Went back to the store to talk to the manager as I was advised to due that a day earlier, so the next day stopped in and informed that because it was opened I could not get a refund or even an exchange for anything in the store that would add up to whatever I paid for. I just threw the one bottle in the trash and walked out the door. The sad part is, the mark up on these things are so high and they make great profits on these things that an exchange for something else should be provided for. I look at it as very bad business, you sacrifice something that small and significant to where you will be loosing my business of $100 + a month and friends and people I would refer to them. If they come up with an excuse that the suppliers will not refund a supplement because it was opened, then it's time to find a new supplier because everyone's body will react to different supplements. My husband decided to give this local shop a try but that was a huge mistake. He was looking for a dairy-free supplement and asked one of the employees if they had any recommendations. They suggested a product which he bought for $60. When he got home and tried the product he realized that it was NOT dairy-free like he was told. I suggested he exchange it because I'm sure it was just an honest mistake. But when he ask about an exchange he was told that there was nothing they could do because if they exchanged his product they'd be out $60. What poor customer service and it wasn't even his fault. Let's be honest their prices on the merchandise aren't the most competitive and they don't claim to be. Having said that they are relatively well stocked and have everything .. almost everything you can need. The staff is relatively friendly and not pushy on sales. I say relatively cuz I had one pushy sales guy who recommended a pretty crappy tasting product. Agreed it is very subjective and so it may not be the case to everyone but it is what it is. The shake bar has always been a hit and the gals and guys who have made my drink have always been very cordial and very attentive. The shakes have always been spot on and definitely makes for a better meal option than the food at most places. I think they offer a fair value for their price and highly recommend it 4 stars overall and with a little more competitive pricing this will be a 5 star location for the franchise. I have gone to this location every time I finish a workout. There shakes are usually good and the service has usually been fine albeit the men working the counter are not the friendliest people in the world. Today I drove out of my way to get a shake because the gym next door was closed so I went to a different gym and then still wanted a shake afterwards. I drove 15 minutes back to get that shake but I also had to use the restroom. The person working the counter was busy with a customer so I went toward the back to try and find the restroom. Couldn't find it. So I went back to the counter and asked. I was then told that it's for employees only. I acknowledged him and then said i would spend my money elsewhere where as a customer I am appreciated. If they don't have the decency to treat a customer with our very littlest of needs then I don't need to spend my money here. You just lost a good customer because of the insensitivity of this business to provide basic needs for its customers and yes I will tell everyone I know to not support your store because of the way you treat its loyal customers. I have been a loyal customer to this location for quite awhile. I spend around $125 monthly on protein and a sleeping powder supplement. The staff has always been extremely friendly. Unfortunately, this evening that friendly customer service is only when you're spending money and not coming to them with an issue. This past Monday evening, I made my monthly visit and purchased my supply of goods. When I arrived home I opened one of my regular products and the entire container was literally hard as a rock. I took out a knife and attempted to free the scoop out of the concrete-like substance. Unable to succeed, I gave up and didn't think much of it figuring One Stop would stand behind their product, especially since I was a regular. I have to sadly admit, I could not have been more wrong. When I approached the familiar clerk and began to explain what had happened, I could barely finish my explanation before he defensively started talking over me "We can't exchange anything opened". I explained again that I purchase this product monthly and this particular package was rotten and hard as concrete. The clerk acknowledged he recognized me but could not do anything for me because it was opened. I don't know how I would even know the product they sold me was bad without opening the package. I asked the clerk if they sold me a bad batch, they don't stand behind their products? He replied I should have put it in the refrigerator. I explained for the third time I just bought it only a day ago and it was bad when I opened it. He reluctantly offered to text the owner, which he did and then walked away and started doing dishes. I stood there for a while with no response and left. Needless to say, I will never return to One Stop Nutrition as there are a number of nutritional stores that would be happy to have my monthly patronage. Buyer beware - Great customer service is provided not only when you're handing over money but also when you need assistance with an unfortunate situation.
