The Gardener's Kitchen is a fantastic little local company that sells scratch made, slow cooked,…read moreready-to-bake meals in a number of phoenix farmers markets and specialty food stores. The offerings include meat dishes, pastas and even vegetarian and vegan dishes. Every meal is expertly made by hand in small batches with no chemicals or preservatives and takes full advantage of the bounty of the local farmers markets. They are delicious! In the interest of full disclosure I must mention that the owner and operator of The Gardener's Kitchen is my sister. This however, gives me unique insight into the food produced by The Gardeners Kitchen. I grew up eating the food my sister cooked and it was always fantastic. She is one of my foodie inspirations. The most amazing thing about what she has done with the Gardener's Kitchen is that the frozen food tastes exactly like her fresh made meals and they take no longer than an hour to prepare. Anyone who lives in the greater phoenix area would be well advised to stock up on some meals from the Gardener's Kitchen for those nights you want foodie quality food without any fuss. The Gardener's Kitchen sells at the following farmers markets: Downtown Phoenix Public Market 721 S Central Ave Phoenix, AZ 85004 Saturdays 8am - 1pm Tempe Farmer's Market 805 South Farmer Avenue Tempe, AZ 85281-5536 Monday - Friday 11am - 7pm Saturday 10am - 8pm Sunday 12pm - 6pm

OK, first of all I'd love to say for the record. This is my home Sprouts store. It's the nearest…read moreto my house and I can actually walk there even if it wasn't near my house. I would literally drive there because everybody working at this location comes from a place of yes and I've literally never seen anybody without a smile on their face.. The customer service is absolutely. Amazing. Everybody that works in the prepared food and deli section works their butts off and the supplement section is out of sight. It's neatly organized and I've never seen a cleaner Sprouts in my life. I had the pleasure of getting help from a manager named Chanel yesterday and she was absolutely amazing, knowledgeable and very helpful. She was so friendly and the way she handles customers is so lovely. She treats everybody like family. I highly recommend going there. They have excellent specials and the sprouts ice cream and sorbet is awesome. I literally live on it. Their self-care section is also pretty great. They have my favorite milk as well and butter so I'm kind of like the woman on the show on Apple TV, Pluribus I would definitely recommend going out of your way to visiting the seventh Avenue and Osborne Sprouts it's store 41. It's the best Sprouts by far the city as well as the greater Phoenix area in my opinion.

We will start there but my experience with everything except the cashier she was kind doing her job. Employees following me and then staring at me is a no. I am not a thief I have been working since I was 16 years old. So the fluffy presuming Latino security guard when I get to the line he scoots over and is staring at me. Ok maybe I'm confused but it's a hard stair and I turn to look up and the white male employee is standing to the rear of where I'm standing and also both are staring. I said you all have the right one. Too the cashier I state, when you are done ringing the groceries call your manager. I said I work for a 100 plus year old company, I have a job. The 1st employee watcher showed up in the back and was down from me. With a scanner and then came and stood to the side of me. I said I'm sorry do you need to scan here, he said no. I'm like ok and he pauses. He then says are you finding what you need. I'm like I'm good, thank you. That would not of been concern until employee number 2 I'm over near jams looking for mint jelly doing lamb chops (reason for the stop). While looking through all the jelly employee # 2 walks up facing little down from me staring at the area just down from where I was picked up nothing I'm thinking weird. The register experience solidified what I presumed was going on. These folks profiled me. At the register Mr fluffy security guard staring at me like mean and then scoots closer to the register I roll my eyes at him to then go to put more of my groceries on the belt to catch employee # 3 starring and positioned as if they have me blocked like I'm a thief. At this point I'm mad because the whole thing spoke to being profiled. Ma'am after you get me rung up and bagged get your manager my complaint isn't on you. I likely make more than your store manager in my mind I'm thinking and you got the right one today. I speak to manager Ron or Rod. I tell him what I experienced and I do not appreciate being profiled. Unless you see me or anyone doing anything this is uncalled for. I'm 58 year old senior with a disability. I'm not able to run, barely walking therefore what am I taking from your flipping store. I've been working since I was 16 years old. I'm not rich but pay my way in life. This is the closes sprouts to me. But I am struggling as to whether go to the 19th Ave location when needed after this experience. This was a bad experience overall. We have enough of this foolishness going on in this world for anybody to experience this madness. My cousin is retired attorney and I worked part time in my youth in retail for old borders books and music (which I did for fun as I worked in the stock brokerage industry during that time) there is a protocol to handling theft. It must be witnessed or you can open the business up to possible lawsuit.

**July 2026: Saturday Late Afternoon Visit**…read more When I'm on vacation, I'm always on the hunt for local Arizona products at grocery stores, and AJ's Fine Foods did not disappoint. I was excited to find Prickly Pear Lemonade by AZ Lemonade, which was exactly the kind of local gem I was hoping to discover. This is definitely a really nice grocery store and gives off a bit of a Pavilions/Whole Foods vibe, but in a more quaint, slightly more mom-and-pop kind of way. The produce looked super fresh, and they had a really good assortment of Arizona products like BBQ sauce, honey, and other local items. Overall, it feels like a more upscale shopping experience, and if you're looking for a grocery store with local finds and a nicer atmosphere, this is a great stop.

Many, many moons ago, while working a high stress, low paying government position in the area,; I used to come here for lunch every nearly every day with coworkers and my supervisor. It was a little pricey, but you couldn't beat those big slices of warm pizza and the salad bar to go, not to mention the dessert. Not only was a a customer during their lunch hour, but I was also a customer that shopped for groceries there. The bakery was my favorite with the iced sugar cookies winning hands-down. The last time I was here was with my son in 2014 to get those sugar cookies mentioned above. So imagine my surprise when I am aggressively approached by two men, who I've never seen before in my life, but clearly work there, telling me that I've been trespassed from that store before and that I need to leave. I am utterly flabbergasted, floored, speechless. At this point, I had a basket full of groceries and I was waiting to be served at the bakery. Just like every other law abiding citizen, I ask what is going on and what are they talking about. Now, I am a relatively young female, unaccompanied in the store with a pretty severe case of CPTSD. Now, of course I do not expect these men to know this but grabbing my purse and other bagged items that I previously purchased, shoving them aggressively into the sides of my arms and shoulders all while saying things like " you know who you are" that I "have been trespassed here before" (untrue) they "have a right to refuse service and don't have to tell me anything" and I "know what I have done" and they "know what I am up to." while literally surrounding me and physically grabbing my car and shoving my things at me. Needless to say, I was severely triggered. In fact, they didn't even give me all of my stuff from my basket actually, maybe they did; I'm so traumatized by the whole thing that I don't even know. What I do know is that I've never stolen anything from AJ's in my entire life. I'm not a thief. In fact I won't even steal refills from Circle K because I feel like they will know. I have no idea who they have mistaken me for, perhaps no one . It would not surprise me if they just made some kind of judgment based off of my appearance. Never have I ever been in a situation like this before but I wanted to let everyone know how they treat people with zero explanation. H de my body tr free have a basket full of and I'm waiting to be served at the bakery. Two gentlemen aggressively approached me and tell me that I'm trespassed from their store and that I need to leave.
