Recently came here to explore a new health store since I was in the Phoenix area for a bit. It's got a small food, drink selection. It's a bit pricey compared to going to a Sprouts. Vitamins and supplements are pretty good at a fair price. They got some great sweets by the check out line which were also a bit pricey. this use to be the best place for health supplies like homeopathy.. but when they sold to the new yuppy new owners the costumer service went with the old owners.. i have medical issues and certified to do homeopathy and they always mess up on orders they say one thing do the anther i have brought this up to the owner with a simple im sorry but how many im sorry is ok till they loose business i order very detailed things they use to carry sometimes doesn't get ordered i wait and nothing.. now i have to find a new place that can even order the homeopathy supplies i need how sad i will hopefully get my last order probably in three weeks or more due to the holidays but by that time i hope to have ordered from BHI directly i wont be back prices are much higher now.. to bad the owners are more about money then customer service so sad. read more

I wanted to see a Naturopathic doctor to get my herbal and vitamin support in check, and of course guidance. All I can say is Dr Matevijic is excellent, super personable and knowledgeable. I'm really happy to have him as my ND. I've actually never seen an ND before, so wasn't sure what to expect. Have my vitamin/herbal and medicine game plan now! Highly recommend him or his wife. Had a couple Chelation IV therapies and can tell the difference. The store is great, and really well laid out. It can be intimating with all the different vitamins/herbals but they always seem very helpful. I'm definitely going to keep going there. read more

HH is a cute store chock full of great products, many hard to find. I bought Turmeric and colloidal silver. The prices are higher than CVS but that's to be expected at this type of store. 1st time great experience. Walk through of ea. Aisle was an eye opener to many different product lines and items. Seconds of entering, I was greeted with a smile and asked if needed direction or have any questions. Once I found Young Living line (behind the 1st register), I asked if anyone had more knowledge of his line and I was introduced to another staff that had a wealth of general, study and personal use knowledge. I knew what I was looking for (thieves oil which was in stock and ample of other Young Living oils) but I was educated on many levels (behind the company, personal use experience, and comparing of other lines). After purchasing and near walking out, I asked if they had a reward program. They do! $10 = 1Point. I have never been there before and I was looking for places to shop organic and non-gmo besides Sprouts and Whole. This store is more of a nutritional supplement store. The do not have any produce and only an extremely small selection of any other food. I have never seen that many brandsnof supplements stocked as they have so if you meed those you can go there most definitely. What was really dissappointing is that noone asked me if I needed help. There were a good number of people working and I was a brand new face and noone even asked me if I needed help finding anything, which ANYONE would if they had never been here before. I have bought vitamins from this store for years. I prefer supporting locally owned businesses. I went in here 4 weeks ago to order a liquid vitamin. I spoke with Stan, he wrote my order down and said it should be in, in a week. I stopped by the following Sunday, no one knew anything about my order. Stan called me that week and left a mesaage asking if I needed 11. I called in, Stan said the buyer had not placed the order. He again said it should be in, in about a week. It was been 4 weeks and nothing, not even a phone call. I am all about customer service as should locally owned businesses. This is why people including myself buy online. Battling the sniffles, I was told to check out Healthy Habits Health Foods in Central Phoenix. The stubbornness in me said no, but the sickness in me said, what the heck. So in walks sick Lindsey, already against the concept of vitamins and not knowing where to even begin. The store looks inviting but with so many different bottles and supplements, I didn't know what I was going to do. Then, as if my deer in headlights look was caught on camera, a staffer appeared out of nowhere. I stuttered my way through my list of needs and symptoms and like a vitamin guru, he ran through the store grabbing the items I asked for and those I needed but didn't know I needed. He was so friendly and helpful but not in a "in your face" sort of way. Feeling like I was walking through my neighborhood grocery store, I kind of wanted to find an excuse to stay, but with my cart full of "get me wells," it was time to go on my way.
