The best place for multiple reasons. Honest review below. This is the best place to waste your money, time, and sanity. Several of the washers and dryers are out of order. Four of the ones I used received money without registering the total amount, forcing me to have to pay again. The dryers I used left clothes damp. I added time; same result. I moved clothes to another machine. Same issue. I kept trying the same thing getting the same result. It's really a good thing before washing my clothes here I came to Yelp and Google to read the reviews. I told myself I would wash my clothes here today but when I got here.. I was completely turned off by the broken machines and disgusted by the entire facilitily. I was looking to see if there was a attendant present and it seems no one was really there to manage the place. Im upset because I really needed to wash my comforters and this laundromat is the closest thing to my home to wash. I would use my washing machines in my apartment but it can't handle heavy duty washing without damaging the machine. El Cerrito we have to do better! The one laundromat I used to go to didn't make it thru the pandemic. It was sad to see them go after being a loyal customer to them for so many years. Holy moly. It was never the cleanest place but now it's just straight up filthy. We just discovered a dead rat in our load that had just been washed. More than half the machines are broken regularly. A lot of times they're out of change. Several times we put laundry in the dryer just to come back to still soaking wet clothes and then having to argue with the owner for a refund every.single.time. My neighbor went one more time after I told the rat story....they saw several rats coming in and out of holes in the walls and elevations (at least three). We both reported the instances to the department of health but were only able to leave voicemails. This place needs to either get shut down or completely overhauled. Should of read the reviews before coming here. Yes it's close by but that's the only thing this place has to offer. Tried to buy detergent but apparently they were all sold out as per the attendant. This laundromat certainly is doing a 180 ! there's new ownership and since they have came in the place has been so clean! the upgrades they are making are super noticeable. The wash and fold service is the way to go ! The woman that works there is always polite and really helpful. i would def recommend One Stop. read more

DO NOT COME HERE!!! this place suuuucks, they have overpriced washing machines that don't work and 90% of the machines here are broken. This place is also filthy and looks like its never cleaned and everything is falling apart. I came here before and left around 11:20 pm no problem. Now they have a stupid closing sign that is so small and easy to miss. Which says they close at 11 and the door automatically locks at 11:05 pm. I've never seen this before and ofc I missed it when I was coming in and out quickly. (they should put the sign on the door) I didn't realize it automatically locks until I heard a click and tried to leave around 11:06. I literally missed it by a minute. And I think this is an unfair amount of time, they should at least give someone 10 minutes. Either way I tried calling the customer service line that they have posted and no one answered. I called 6 times and left a voicemail that I would call the police and they will break in if needed. And so I called the police and they tried calling the line and the owner's personal number and still nothing. If you run a business and are too lazy to even come in and close yourself (even hire someone to clean) you should at least be aware of the phone line if someone calls with an issue like getting locked in!!! I went on Saturday day time .it was not much crowded. Must of the washing machine are dirty .I can see three different type of washing machine all of them are broken and dirty with mold.you might got scammed cause it shows 30.so you gonna assume 3 dollarsbut no it's 30 coin of quarters .5 min is 1 quater for dryer which ok but 30 quarters no hand washing sink this is disgusting should be closed it's against the Consumers health never going back again.if you put any coin by mistake oh no you will never get back .if the machine not working too.good luck read more

The machines work fine and I actually like that it's not crowded. But a few homeless people hangout here, and today, one of them stole my blanket while I was next door working out. I'm glad that the person who stole it will have a nice clean warm blanket, but I'm not happy about someone going through my clothes, most likely with dirty hands. This isn't exactly the owner's fault or mismanagement, it's just unfortunate that this location is a favorite spot for homeless people to hang out when it's cold or raining. read more

One Stop Laundromat's wash and fold service is a lifesaver and so easy to use! My washer went out and I found this laundromat on yelp. I called the number to ask a few questions and the owner mentioned that they also provide wash and fold service so I made an appointment to drop off. They weighed my clothes, and then I paid and picked up my clean folded clothes. The process is so simple! The place was well kept and the customer service was excellent. I will definitely be back to use this service for my comforters this winter. read more

I used to go to this place all the time because they have the jumbo dryers, but it has gone downhill. Right now, as I type this, more dryers are not working than are, some of the washing machines have a really hard time accepting quarters and there are people who frequently loiter inside for shelter who turn you off from wanting to go in (not saying anything about the character of the people, but the smell and general condition of the things they bring inside with them can make one reluctant go inside). I am sitting in my car watching another man who seems to be washing down the machines open my dryer, let it stop, close it again and did not start it, so I just had to go in and restart it! This will be my last time going here. So sad. read more

I have been here 3 times and the dryers never completely dry my load, this last time I had put extra time and somehow the small load was still soaked after 36 minutes. I'm not sure if someone is stopping the cycle or if the lent traps are full or if the machines just don't work but I'm not coming back. read more

Truly the worst laundromat I've ever experienced. The floors are super dirty, more than half of the machines are out of order, there are only two baskets for the entire laundry mat. There is much more, and things beyond the pale. But I don't want to hurt people's feelings. Contact me if you want the full story. Last night around 8:30pm the change machine malfunctioned when I inserted $5.00 bill, I did not receive my change in quarters. Also there is no laundry attendant working was 7pm to resolve issues and the work phone number is the phone in the laundromat, which has no employees to answer it. read more
