Years ago, I bought progressive lenses and remember needing to exchange them b/c the prescription wasn't right. This caused the owner to get very perturbed at me even though I was told it was their policy. His wife didn't seem to mind and appeared quite shocked by his behavior. Cut to yesterday, years later, when I innocently go in there thinking how long it's been only to find that this guy still knows my name! Creepy. He blames me for returning 'a whole stack' of glasses that he still has in the back. Really? R u joking? You kept A PAIR of glasses that I exchanged FIVE YEARS AGO, and you're so obsessed with me that you still remember my name? Wow. Okay. He told me he had the right to refuse service to anyone. Well ... guess what? I have the right to write a negative review about how rude you are and how people should avoid you at all costs! read more

No one compares to One Price Optical in Bermuda dunes. Not only do they have the best prices and the best selection of silhouette glasses I have ever seen, but the owners are super kind and very generous and always will straighten your glasses for free. This is a super service because silhouette glasses last me 10 to 20 +++ years. Some even longer....... And I am NOT careful with them. Even when I lay on them or sit on them, Debbi and Phil (husband and wife team )can get them straight again and looking perfect for me. Just like NEW ‍ Love their prices, their service, and they have by far the best selection of silhouette glasses which are almost indestructible. They will also order any size or Shape or Color. Even after sitting on them or accidentally falling asleep with them on your face, Debbi has the magic that can get them back to perfect looking with just a few minor adjustments.....they can also order all the parts directly from the Manufacturer since they do a huge volume of glasses from them. Miracle workers of any brand! You can even buy fancy designer glasses from Saks Fifth Avenue Or Debbi and have new lenses put in with prescriptions by Debbi and Phil.. I love the service I get and the quality of the work at one price optical. Plus I like using local businesses rather than huge chains if I can get better pricing and good Old Fashion service! Take all your eyeglass for close and distance as well as your sunglasses and reading glasses to Debbi and Phil at one price optical. It will be the one of the best decisions you will make in your lifetime. definitely! read more

One Price is a small shopping center shop, that's BIG on service. I brought a pair of very expensive frames to them hoping they could provide lenses to fit my special order frames...Phil knew the small batch maker, found the right lenses, and ground them to perfection...He did it fast, at a good price, and was a pleasure to deal with. I highly recommend this Mom & Pop Shop! read more

During July-Sept., 2020 I ordered three pair of glasses here. Couldn't be more pleased! Inexpensive, fast delivery, great product. We had the easiest and best experience with this company. The people are knowledgeable and friendly. They have a great selection and we easily found the right frames for us. Once again ... above and beyond great service. Phil and Debbie are not only professionals and extremely knowledgeable they truly care about you and your eyesight! I have challenging optical issue. Over the many years they have provided me with many pairs of quality, fashionable well priced glasses. But I am equally appreciative because they have also guided me to great optometrist, and ophthalmologist. And in emergencies they have never hesitated to help or go back to their suppliers if something isn't perfect the first time. Thank you once again! read more

My wife and I have purchased several pairs of glasses from this store. We were generally satisfied with the quality and price. I purchased a pair of glasses in January that I have had problems with from the start. I took them back several times to have them adjusted. I finally took them back to see if the prescription was correct and was told that it was and that the lenses were positioned correctly. I then decided to have another eye exam and was told that the lenses were not positioned correctly. read more

ONE PRICE OPTICAL in Bermuda Dunes is the 'Ramsey's Kitchen Nightmare' of Optical services. I ordered glasses to be made from my prescription there. I am very sorry that I did. I DO NOT recommend this operation. It is the worst service company I have dealt with ever and except for the owner's quite helpful wife and son, has the worst most appalling customer service. I had to go back six times for three failed fix attempts before finally being refused satisfaction to correct their messed up job. I paid nearly $400 for glasses that I cannot see through properly. Unsatisfied, I went to Lense Crafters (go there instead people) to test the glasses ONE PRICE made to verify that what I suspected was true: The job they did at One Price Optical was badly botched; the prescription way off. What's worse is that the owner deflected, obfuscated, lied and finally bullied me out of his store when I brought what Lense Crafters confirmed to his attention. INCOMPETENT OPERATION. In addition, they promised me 24 hour delivery and failed at that too. I had to come back two times to finally get them after they told me to come on down - that they would be ready. When I finally tried on the glasses they made I told the rude, imposing, overbearing, sweaty grinch of an owner Phil that they weren't right; that I couldn't focus, and to that he told me that I need to get used to the glasses. That it would take a few days before I could see right!!!??? I also sat there and heard him telling another dissatisfied customer there the same BS story. But since he was so insistent and I had a wedding to go to and plane to catch, I reluctantly agreed and went off hoping he was right. He was WRONG. So, If I was like Chef Ramsey for a day and was hired to give ONE PRICE OPTICAL some good advice, I would tell them to get the socially challenged and incompetent owner Phil out of the reception and fitting area and keep him sequestered in back and always away from customers. (You are scaring the customers PHIL! ) Oh and get someone competent to run your "expensive machinery." I think this place sucks and it has been a total waste of my money and time. Very disappointed. DON'T GO THERE!!! NO selection - poor service - no integrity. read more

Overdue review. Did business with OP Optical from 2007 approx through 2016. We developed a great relationship. I gave them generous business and they took care of me wonderfully. Good This review is long overdue! I had gone to every store in this valley who sold frames, wasn't pleased with the selection or the customer service until I visited One Price Optical! Not only am I extremely happy with my frames and lenses (I bought 4 pairs), the owners, Phil and Debbie! OMG, they go out of their way to make sure you're more than pleased with the glasses before they turn them over to you. I will NEVER go anywhere else, they even recommended an eye doctor who was in turn was the best. I do things backwards I got the frames before the lenses. I refer everyone I know to visit this establishment, I believe Phil and Debbie are the best in their field. I "Thank" the both of you from the bottom of my heart. They even helped push my new car into a parking spot in the excruciating heat! Koanda read more

Let me begin by saying,I needed to get new prescription lens for my glasses. I LOVE my present frames, and I was told by several opticians that new lens could not be put in my beautiful "old" frames!!! One Price Optical was recommended, so I figured, what have I got to loose. Phil is a master!!!!! He was able to replace the lens with my new prescription and refurbish the fames so they look and feel like new!!! Since my glasses make a fashion statement, I plan to take in the remaining frames that need new prescriptions as well. I must add, that Debbie is as wonderful as Phil is. They both care about their customers, and go the extra mile to make sure every need is met!!! Thank you both for for solving my glass dilemma!!! : ) read more

So pleased with One Price Optical, service and attention to detail. They are a wonderful asset to the desert so glad I found them. Heard the ad on the radio and had to find out for myself that it was really $99 and it was! I have been going to Phil for years. You can not beat the prices. Last time I went to One Price optical was about three years ago. I got 2 pairs of glasses and a pair of sunglasses for $300. This would have cost me $800-$1000 anywhere else. I just went there again today to have a pair of sunglasses per scripted and a regular pair of glass for $227. There prices have not change in 16 years. For friendly service, honest service, speedy service, and affordable service, come here. You will not be disappointed, EVER!!!! read more

Looking for a pair of eyeglasses, but don't want to spend hundreds? I can recommend One Price Optical. Small shop, park right in front, not crowded, attentive service. Bought a pair of glasses with 'progressive' lenses, two months ago. I picked out the frame (from among dozens of varieties), handed them the prescription I got at Walmart optician, paid $99 all-in, and picked up my glasses five days later in a hardshell case. They work just fine two months later. Just went back and bought a second pair - just picked out a different style frame, and since they had my prescription on file, all I had to do was pay $99 and pick them up four days later.... I was referred to One Price Optical by my mother. She's bought two pairs there. One pair she stepped on and smashed, mailed it back to them, they repaired them and mailed the fixed glasses back to her - no charge at all! We recommend One Price Optical for the budget oriented eye-glass wearers of the world.... read more
