My husband and I have wanted to stop at this spot for so long just because of the name! Who hasn't been a member of the "one more" crew at one or another time in life?!? It wasn't too busy when we walked in this afternoon, which was nice because we were able to get a seat at the bar right away. The bartender was a really nice woman. I think it was the end of her shift. She was great, though, and even helped us with the Lotto Hot Spot that they have available. We ordered a couple Pacificos on tap, which were nice and cold. We were already full from a late lunch/early dinner so we didn't even ask about food, but they are a bar and grill and food is available. Although we are semi-local, we were new here, but the people that were there were obviously local regulars. Everyone seemed pretty friendly. No bad vibes. They do have a juke box similar to touch tunes, which we love because we love playing our faves. The bathroom situation is one at a time, which I didn't know, so unless you want to watch someone pee, wait your turn. Take aways... great spot if you love dive bars and people watching, Don't look too long though, because you should always mind your business. They have a large liquor selection, which is nice because the hipster craft bars only have a few select of each liquor. The beer is cold and the staff is friendly. I work in the service industry and didn't get off work till 12:30. It's a Saturday. My husband and I have a toddler and we finally had family over for us to have a night out - long overdue. We didn't wanna go too far so my husband found this place on google maps. WHAT A MISTAKE. We arrived at 1:10am and the bartender (hopefully not the GM/owner) with blonde short curly hair was insanely rude. I couldn't even believe how she was talking to people. There were 3 people waiting for drinks and she frantically was saying "OK WE'RE DONE. WE GO BY OUR TIME AND WE NEED TO GET EVERYONE OUT OF HERE." She then proceeded to tell her colleague, who was very nice by the way (Cory" is his name), to lock all the doors. Then she looks at my husband and said "ok what do you want?" And then we ordered just two beers. Then another guy came up for drinks and she said "are you seriously getting another round of all those drinks?! Are you even done with the first round?!" Like what the actual heck? Then she proceeded to shut everything down and sat with her friends, hit her VAPE inside the bar and then decided to serve one last man who came in another 20 mins later but also said "WHAT. WHAT DO YOU WANT?" This woman needs a reality check. I've worked at many bars and pubs and that is not how you treat people. You want to make money? Show some respect to people who are the reason why your bills get paid. Absolutely disgusted and would never step foot in there again. I hope she gets fired. Went yesterday for a burger. The bartender saw me but was really busy talking to the two guys one seat away from me. Ordered a mamosa and a cheese burger, she was so busy on her phone and other customers. My burger sat for 10 minutes before she realized it was still sitting there. What can I say? I'm a huge fan of dive bars, so I am a huge fan of OMTI. I like that it's a place you can go and you know what to expect - the bartenders, the consumers, the amenities (pool tables, juke box, firepits), cash only, etc. i kind of wish they had a bigger food selection and longer hours to accommodate the food, but there's some restaurants around the area where you could munch (such as a seafood Mexican place next door) and the Z Market across the street. It seems like when you come here, it feels welcoming. Instead the people being divided into a bunch of cliques, it seems like a big gathering where people actually talk to one another. For example, if you put on a catchy song on the jukebox (ahem I want it that way by Backstreet Boys lol), you'll hear the whole bar sing! It was awesome. This was just one of the positive experiences at OMTI, but I've had plenty! read more

Our kids had a soccer game down the road pretty early on a Saturday morning and this was nearby and open. In fact, it looked like it'd been open and people had been partying for awhile when we rolled in before 10 am. Cash only and a handful of locals but everyone was nice to us and the beers were pretty cheap; service was ok. We sat out back and spoke with surfer John about music for a while. just now NEW They were trying to kick me out when I was just outside on there patio minding my business waiting for my ride to pick me up. It was a lady with long blonde hair. She was looking for a reason to kick me out asking me for an ID and to throw out my soda because I'm not allowed to have outside drinks. I then nicely told her I am of age and that if I throw out my drink if I could still wait here and she had no choice but to say yes. My new favorite dive bar. It has almost everything one could ask for from a joint like this. A lady bartender who is welcoming and makes you feel as though you've come home, has a great attitude and doesn't take any shit, great burgers, cold beer, double entendres, the 7am regulars, pool tables with some good shooters and, maybe best of all, Lady Marines. Second only to the Lamplighter in Camarillo and Harold's, the Red Balloon Saloon and Joe's Bar all on Northwestern Highway in Southfield, Michigan. Harold died and the land now holds up an office building filled with the sort of paper pushing characters you'd find in Blade Runner who'd never think to step inside. Dive bar? Yes. I'm not sure why people are surprised. Just looking at the outside of the bar, at the end of a little strip mall, and you'll know it's a dive bar. Also, Oceanside is a Marine town, so expect it to be a "Marine bar" as well. What you won't really find here, though, is the need for us to keep labeling this bar. It's a bar. With booze. Bring cash. While I'm not a big bar person, I love places like OMTI because it has exactly what I'm looking for. Cheap Long Islands (and a variety of them as well), pool, darts, juke box, the Female Pleasure Pack for sale in the bathroom, fire pits, and locals to spare. I love finding hidden treasures in my hometown! It's the gift that keeps giving and One More That's It Pub definitely reigns true. Although I didn't follow the program with just have one more beer before heading home, this dive bar is actually a breath of fresh air compared to other typical dive bars in Oceanside. It's quite & low key with pool tables, outdoor patio with a linear outdoor fire pit, and computerized DJ music that sets the mood for when you want One More before heading home. Typical beers on tap and everyone who comes just comes to wind down without having the need to impress anyone. Just get a beer and relax chump! My first time here and there was a brawl outside on the patio, not that I had any expectations from the moment I walked in the door that it would be a 5 star experience or anything. It's divey. The inside of the bar smells as strong of cigarettes as the smoking patio does outside. The bartenders were nice. My drinking partner and I both wanted a Sculpin and were told it would be $12 for the two or $10 for a pitcher which we thought was a great price. Love this place! Always relaxing and something I didn't see mentioned is they have the CA lotto hotspot game. Usually its just regulars, and nobody bugs you if you just want to sit and relax by yourself which is what I do. Bartenders are friendly and always ready to serve a beer. Aside from having one of the coolest names I've seen in a while, this place was really awesome for being a little dive bar that I would never have probably gone to had I not been dragged there by a friend. I am from San Francisco (before it became all gentrified and gross), and I appreciate a decent local pub that doesn't pretend to cater to hipsters or pretentious weekend warrior types. This place is the real deal from what I saw, and I'm not sure what the people who gave it a low rating were necessarily expecting, because for me, it reminded me of a neat little hole in the wall bar from back home. If you want someplace to wear a cocktail dress and not get a little dirty, maybe you should go a little further south down the coast. There's an entire demographic down there who will likely welcome you with open arms. I've heard of OMTI and have been wanting to check it out. My friend picked me up and we met a few others there. I was picturing a scary place because I've heard mixed things about it! Hey I recon I like dive bars! We were there pretty early so we were able to all sit at a long table. The bartender was friendly and got us our beers and I ordered 6 shots which he knocked right out for us. They had fire pits and tables outside which was nice that you can actually drink outside! Many bars don't have that approved on their license! I found the patrons to be friendly but, hey... I had already started happy hour someplace else! LOL I also heard they have great drink specials. If you have issues getting up and walking to a bar to order a drink then this isn't the place for you! read more

The new employee older guy with a beard was very rude. He yelled at us for not bringing our empty glasses and pitchers back to the bar while we were outside. We were the only ones he said that too. He was loud obnoxious and cursed too. Earlier in the night he was upset because of the music that was playing and said that this is a rock n roll bar, we were playing hip hop and r&b.
