    Tom Kha

It was the most untasty Tom Kha soup of my life. The broth had no flavor--just sourness, not even any salt. There were some weird vegetables inside; I even found two different types of lettuce (seriously?). Basically, the taste of the soup reminded me of broccoli broth and old, overcooked cabbage floating in sour coconut milk. This is crazy... it's really that bad. I never leave negative reviews, but this was just terrible.

I'm a big fan of One More Thai! I've been now twice and both times have been really wonderful experiences. The restaurant itself is really quaint and cozy, and they accept reservations online. The service is really lovely too, our server was super kind and attentive. I stopped by yesterday ahead of a comedy show and enjoyed the red curry with tofu (it was a bit spicy, but nothing overwhelming) and the pad Thai was fantastic too. The curry was creamy and flavorful and the pad thai was the right balance between savory and a hint of sweetness from the tamarind. I'll be back!! Really solid Thai option in LES with fair prices. Yum :)

After a long day of unforeseen drama, I decided to treat myself to a little peace. Taking myself out to eat is something I do often with Luna, my service animal -- we have our little "dates," lol. We casually walked over to Clinton Street in NYC, and even though it was lightly raining, we still enjoyed the views and the calm of the neighborhood. I passed a Thai spot that was dimly lit with just the right vibe. The name caught me instantly -- One More Thai -- reminding me of one of my favorite songs from the 90s. We decided to venture in, and I'm so happy we did. All I can say is wow. The food was absolutely amazing from start to finish: * Drunken noodles -- to die for. * Tom Kha -- good lord. * Chive pancake -- "yummy" doesn't even begin to describe it. And the final touch, the pumpkin custard, honestly left me speechless. Luna was in heaven and sat calmly right next to me the whole time. Thank you so much for the hospitality, the good vibes, and the incredible flavors. I will definitely be back!

Review: 5/5 So good! My friend and I came around 3 PM during their lunch special, and we were able to get an appetizer and entrée for just $13 each. The value and food quality were both amazing. I ordered the spring rolls followed by the drunken noodles. The noodles were served hot and had a perfect level of spice--exactly what I was craving. The atmosphere of the restaurant was also spectacular. The vibe was relaxed but vibrant, and I really enjoyed the whole experience. Would definitely come back!

It's got a dark wooden dive bar vibe inside with a touch of beachy. We went at 8pm and it was pretty empty, seems like mostly a take out place even though there was plenty of seating. The staff was friendly and very attentive. The service was quick. We got crab rangoons which were perfect and very stuffed with delicious filling. The pork Thai fried rice was good, they did not skimp on the meat which a lot of places normally do. Overall pretty decent place! Very casual. The prices were also mad cheap!

An affordable option for takeout - it was the cheapest Thai option by far on Uber Eats so major points for that! Can't speak to the service or ambiance since we got takeout - but the food itself was good but not great. Both of the entrees we got were pretty liquid-y (the jungle curry makes sense, but the peanut dish threw me off a bit since I've had it at other places with a much thicker consistency). Despite the consistency, the flavors were good. The pad Thai was a bit disappointing - you can kinda tell from photo but it was dry and lacking some flavor. Even mid Thai food is still kinda good. Even if it's not the best, it'll still be a good option. If you're looking for the cheapest option, this is a nice one! I'll try others in the area before coming back.

Food 4.0 Waiter 5.0 Ambiance 3.5 Giving the restaurant a 5.0 mainly based on waiter. As devoted fans of Once More Thai, we recently had the pleasure of dining there. Despite having only one waiter, he was wonderful. His kindness and care were evident as he took his time to assist a guest, who uses a wheelchair, up and down a ramp. The ambiance was simple, yet pleasant. Overall, the dishes were very good. We ordered two lunch specials: Green curry with chicken, and basil fried rice with chicken. We also ordered the Red Snapper with mango salad. The Green curry stood out with its robust flavor, while the Basil fried rice was very good. As for the Red snapper, it was fried to perfection, although slightly on the dry side. We left Once More Thai with smiles on our faces. If you're in the neighborhood, we highly recommend stopping by this gem of a restaurant!

I always enjoy this place every time I go. You can't really find prices like this anywhere else in NYC. We tried the Chicken with Basil Sauce and neither of us loved it. The flavor was good but the texture of the vegetables was very strange. The green beans felt squeaky? It was very strange. I wouldn't order this dish again. However, everything else was great as always. The service is fast and the prices are great. I'll be coming back here.

I've tried this place a few times. I have done the lunch special before and an option from the regular menu for dinner. Lunch: not really impressed. It was a smaller portion for food and the spring roll was tiny and not that tasty. It seem like it was came frozen and they just heated it up. Dinner: was a lot better. I definitely would recommend the pineapple fried rice. It can feed two by the way unless you are extremely hungry. It tastes really good and I would go back here just to get this for takeout again. It is also affordable for nyc. I have had some issues in the past reaching them by phone so sometimes it can be inconvenient if I want to place an order to pickup 15 mins later. Other than that, I would definitely try the pineapple fried rice entree.

When we went at night it was pretty empty since it was close to closing time, im not sure if they have soundproof glass or what but the ambiance was great since we couldn't hear any sounds from outside. Waiter was attentive and food was great, definitely recommend pad woo sen I liked the dish they brought it in

Not an afterthought hiding in the corner of the tray pretending to matter. These had real presence. The kind of side dish that starts acting like it pays rent. Deeply satisfying. Very much giving do not overlook me, sweetheart. And the rice? Stand up. Seriously. The rice came in with backup dancer status and somehow turned into co-lead. Fluffy. Well-seasoned. Actually worth eating on its own, which is rare because a lot of restaurant rice just be there for emotional support. This rice had purpose. This rice had ambition. Service kept things moving and the whole place felt easy to enjoy. No extra drama. Just good food doing what it was supposed to do. The atmosphere had that low-key, no-nonsense energy where people clearly came to eat first and talk later. Exactly the kind of mood a chicken spot should have. it's giving... every member of the group project unexpectedly pulled their weight.

Orders are made at the register as soon as you walk in, even for dine-in orders. I ordered grilled chicken with yellow rice and red beans and a side of sweet plaintains. The chicken was those flat, paper thin strips with grill marks all over. It was tender but not very flavorful. The yellow rice was good and the beans were fine. The sweet plaintains were the best part of my meal. They were cooked nice and brown and they weren't mushy at all. I asked for hot sauce. I was given a cold bottle of hot sauce from the fridge. The dipping sauce helped to give the chicken a little zing. Chicken Stop is a narrowly built restaurant with decent seating, dim lighting and fake grass walls. There was a large, flat-screen TV hanging from the fake grass wall, showing the news. The satellite music was an awful mix of soft rock and country/western. Menu prices are reasonable. I have business in that area now. I'll be dining at Chicken Stop again.

Get ready for some messy eating. But also get ready for some dry ass chicken. There's a reason why I only cook chicken thighs at home instead of breast. One is moist and juicy, the other is not. Fluffies was not able to make their chicken breast any less dry than I could. I had to drench each bite with sauce to mask the dryness. Remind me to only buy chicken sandwiches that use thighs only in the future. The crunch on the fry was a little hard, the sauce did work, but overall I felt like I ate saucy and fry rather than a chicken sandwich. The fries are aight. Very well seasoned -- that was the best part. But I felt like I was eating a toss up with each fry. Some had the perfect crisp on the outside, others felt stale? Like rhymes with the feeling of cold McDonald's fries, obvious not as bad as that but hints of that texture every few fries. It's like I got a fresh batch of fries mixed with an old batch of fries. The good fries were gooood. The bad fries were ugh. Maybe it's cause I went at 11pm but there was still a stready stream of customers. Coleslaw -- nothing special. Got it cause you gotta eat your vegetables for $2. This would be the first time that my slaw is so one-dimension in color though. Sandwich so underwhelming. Dat fry seasoning tho. Maybe I shoulda gotten the Mac/fries.

I went here a while back to order lunch for takeout, and it was pretty good. After they opened, they added some specials ranging from $15 to $17, combining chicken with fries or dumplings, and I went with the sweet and spicy boneless chicken with standard fries, as you can also update the fries to the "spicy snow" version for an extra $1. The cashier was friendly. The sweet and spicy chicken is their version of Yangnyeom/양념치킨, and the combo came with a few moderately sized pieces. The breading was crispy, and the chicken inside was pretty tender. There was some sweetness, and it had a mild kick, though it wasn't as spicy as I prefer. The fries inside were OK. They had a good crisp to them and a good crunch, but needed a tad more salt. The fry portion was also much larger, so next time, I would just stick with the chicken. The free kimchi was standard and decent. This was a perfectly decent Korean chicken spot. If it were any closer to a Korean neighborhood, I doubt it would be doing well, but there is a distinct lack of Korean places nearby outside of the primarily takeout spot, which doesn't specialize at all in chicken. It fills a niche, and I would likely at some point stop in again to try their Korean chicken sandwich or their plain chicken to try more of their sauces.
