Ask Greg to do a tune up on my car I brought all the parts and left the car with him. A month and a half later after I bothered him constantly to fix it because I needed it he says he needed different parts so I picked up the wrong parts and brought back the right parts. A couple days later he finished I picked up my car to find out he had been driving it the whole time. He put almost 1200 miles on my car and left the doors open so his cats could pee all over it. If anyone knows how hard it is to get cat urine out of seats and carpet they understand THE CAR IS RUINED! This Greg guy has no business working on anyones car. this guy is a scam. He overcharges you. He does not give you any kind of idea how much he charges an hour or job then threatens to take you to court get a lien, repo the car and have it towed. After talking to him on the phone and explaining the circumstances ( I had a new fob, the car was stuck in panic mode, new battery) and that I had NO MONEY at all, he said he would be right there to help out of "love for people" when he arrived he literally had me doing everything for him. Calling around to parts places etc.. he looked at the fuses and told me that i needed a new modular, mother board and fob. The dealership would charge over $475. again told him I had no money and couldn't do that. He then checked the fuses and saw that I had a wire that was chewed by my dog. He used tape that he had in his RV and the car started right up. He then told me he wanted $375. I told him I still didn't have any money he threatened to have my car towed. Said he was going to repo it and put a lien against me. He pulled his RV in front of me and demanded the money. He then took pictures of my license plates and the vin number. I was scared and freaking out he was right beside the drivers side where I was sitting down. I called my mil for the money and told her everything he was doing. He then started raising the price and asking her how much money she had. He would take Zelle, or cash app. He wasn't going to move the car until he got $600. She told him no and wanted his info. He refused to give her anything but his phone number. I called the police and when they showed up he stated that he wasn't even going to charge me and that he was leaving. The police officer listened to everything from me and the other people that heard everything and told him he couldn't do what he was doing. He again said he wasn't charging me. My mil said she would give him $50 for the tape and his time. He said in front of the officer "ma'am I'm not going to take your $50 I did this out of the love of animals and people. I can see she is homeless and has a dog. I'm not charging anything. He then tried to talk to me more and the officer told him to leave and that he could take me to court if he wanted. He said no and that he was going to Aberdeen to someone else that he could help. I would also like to mention that besides telling him what was wrong with my car, that I had zero money and was homeless living in the car with my dog. He said he would help me. He never said he was going to charge me anything or a price that he expected to be paid if he helped me. Now several hours later he is sending me text messages. BEWARE do not use him. My truck broke down this afternoon (Sunday) when all of the dealerships and repair shops are closed. I was lucky enough to be able to pull my vehicle into a parking lot and found Greg on the Internet. I reached out to him and we quickly ran through a couple of scenarios and determined that more than likely I had an issue getting spark. Greg was kind enough to drop what he was doing and come out to me and picked up parts on the way. He wasn't sure what exactly was going to be wrong so he grabbed an array of parts just in case -- which turned out to be the saving grace. Wanted to charge me an absurd amount just to come out cause he knew I was stranded. I told him I'd confirm before I'd have him come out but he berated me on the phone and came out anyway even after I told him to not come multiple times. When I told him I didn't want his service after his terrible treatment he gave me, he proceeded to harass me even more and film me saying I ripped him off even though I told him specifically NOT TO COME. He berated me and my driver, got in my face to threaten me, and had misdiagnosed the problem so he was just trying to screw me out of whatever money he can get. Initially I asked Greg for a time estimate. Greg said six hours. He billed 21 and was no where near completion. Greg is some kind of sorcerer. My RV broke down 15 minutes into my move from Seattle to North Carolina, I was traveling with 2 dogs and a parrot. Greg responded to the call and he stuck with the job until he coaxed the problem out of it.... bad fuel. It's a diesel, with 10 year old fuel. He spent the next couple days working on that issue... I can't tell you exactly what he did other than he had to drain all the fuel out of it, replace many small parts, change fuel filter repeatedly... because I am someone who is mechanically impaired (badly) and even though he tried to explain every step, I shushed him, told him I trusted him, and sure enough, 3 days later I was on the road to North Carolina and it was smooth sailing all the way. If I had been forced to go to a RV repair place, it would have taken MONTHS, since this is RV season. I cannot believe how unbelievably lucky I am that Greg took a chance and in doing so, saved my bacon. A million blessings on that man, he is the very definition of a mensch... my parrot doesn't like men, but he loved Greg-- that's a good indication of the soul of a human, if animals like them. I would give this guy 0 STARS if possible. I called to get a price on replacing stock headlights with LED's, which I had already purchased. He wanted my home address and time I was usually at home. I replied that I was just looking for a price. He proceeded to insult me, so I told him I did not have time to waste on scammers, and that I just wanted to know about how much it would cost. I contacted this place to have a mechanic come and replace my battery-something had caused the battery to drain. I was quoted a price of $460 to do that. Feeling like once again-as a woman-I was being scammed and the frustration brought tears. This resulted in some very rude words-saying stop the tears I don't deal with people who cry and so after a minute of being berated by the man-I said bye and hung up. I then received texts telling me I needed to go to my church and get my 10% monies back because of this exchange. Several texts followed with several rude things being said. I ended contact at that point. Then about an hour or so I receive a text that the guy was leaving Gig Harbor. I responded wanting to know why he was telling me that-I had made it very clear I had no interest in dealing with this man. Once again he sent rude texts and then proceeded to inform me that "we are blocking you". I don't know who the "we" was-but the whole interaction was unpleasant. The sad thing is- I and several others have been looking for a mobile mechanic-I have a Honda Odyssey in addition to my Honda Accord. It needs transmission work, tune up, and timing belt replaced. This guy cost himself a lot of business. And regarding his remarks about God and my church whom he said should give back my 10%-well in my opinion-God guided me away from this man. $460 to change the battery-and then a $10 part to fix the brake lights that were staying on. I hired Greg to fix my truck radiator fan that was running fast and loud constantly. He said he fixed it in the first visit, but had the same problem the next day, so he returned and said he had to make a third visit. I had already paid him $1,142.00 and then he completeLt blew off the third attempt and when I asked for my money back, he started yelling at me, threatened to have my truck towed and told me to take my business elsewhere. My conclusion is that he couldn't figure out the problem and wanted to get out with the money he already screwed me out of. I am a woman, however I do know about cars. He assumed I didn't. I was on my way to Ocean Shores from Spokane with my elderly disabled cousin and are 2 service animals. I broke down at a little BBQ place off the highway. I knew what was wrong with my minivan and it was literally a 2 minute fix. I told him what to bring and my vehicle type. When he got there he said he got the wrong part and had to run back to the parts store 10 minutes away. Eight hours later he returned and fixed my van in 2 minutes.
