Stuff happens and you can only hope that the shop will step up and take care of it. Not this shop, the owner refused to accept any liability, blaming the tech he hired and the shop that supplied the replacement heads. After an 18 month battle with him and his insurance company we finally had to file a claim in the courts to get partially reimbursed for the re repairs. I cannot stress enough how important it is to find another shop to do business with. You may get lucky and they won't damage your vehicle working on it, but is it worth the risk? I feel that this review need not be forgotten. I don't care how many years it has been. Hence the repost. As I said do one bad job they tell everybody.

Called on one shop who did not answer and then called Auto Care Center. I explained our situation and was told they would look at it and although busy if simple they would fix it. The heater hose was diagnosed, a new part ordered and when cool was fixed. It only took a bit over two hours and the cost was very fair. I was impressed by their courtesy and professionalism and absolutely would recommend them to anyone in need.

Riley has advised me against doing work I thought I needed, and he was right, there was no need. Contrast this with another shop we use in the area, where we've spent close to 10 thousand dollars chasing an engine oil leak, and after 6 different trips to that shop (NOT B&R), we still have oil drips under the car. It's really hard to find a shop that you can trust, both to get the work done properly when it's called for, but also to tell you when it's NOT needed. Good mechanics here, no worries.

After talking to him on the phone and explaining the circumstances ( I had a new fob, the car was stuck in panic mode, new battery) and that I had NO MONEY at all, he said he would be right there to help out of "love for people" when he arrived he literally had me doing everything for him. Calling around to parts places etc.. he looked at the fuses and told me that i needed a new modular, mother board and fob. The dealership would charge over $475. again told him I had no money and couldn't do that. He then checked the fuses and saw that I had a wire that was chewed by my dog. He used tape that he had in his RV and the car started right up. He then told me he wanted $375. I told him I still didn't have any money he threatened to have my car towed. Said he was going to repo it and put a lien against me. He pulled his RV in front of me and demanded the money. He then took pictures of my license plates and the vin number. I was scared and freaking out he was right beside the drivers side where I was sitting down. I called my mil for the money and told her everything he was doing. He then started raising the price and asking her how much money she had. He would take Zelle, or cash app. He wasn't going to move the car until he got $600. She told him no and wanted his info. He refused to give her anything but his phone number. I called the police and when they showed up he stated that he wasn't even going to charge me and that he was leaving. The police officer listened to everything from me and the other people that heard everything and told him he couldn't do what he was doing. He again said he wasn't charging me. My mil said she would give him $50 for the tape and his time. He said in front of the officer "ma'am I'm not going to take your $50 I did this out of the love of animals and people. I can see she is homeless and has a dog. I'm not charging anything. He then tried to talk to me more and the officer told him to leave and that he could take me to court if he wanted. He said no and that he was going to Aberdeen to someone else that he could help. I would also like to mention that besides telling him what was wrong with my car, that I had zero money and was homeless living in the car with my dog. He said he would help me. He never said he was going to charge me anything or a price that he expected to be paid if he helped me. Now several hours later he is sending me text messages. BEWARE do not use him. And if you do know that it is illegal for him to block you in and threaten to repo your car, put a lien or anything else.

I was helped by a nice man, named Mike. There is more than one Mike. I'm talking about the older…read moreman who does gorgeous woodwork. Mike listened to what I was looking for, took my requests seriously, and quickly delivered the used truck that was perfect for my needs. It has been two years, and the truck hasn't failed me. After having previously purchased a lemon from another dealer, I practically begged Mike not to be a crook--I know, it sounds weird, but it's true--and he wasn't. He didn't rip me off. I won't say it was a perfect experience. There were a few snags along the way, but it was the Christmas season, and we should all expect some delays during the holidays. The complaint I want to make is for the parts department. They asked if I would be willing to take a used swaybar, and I said yes. What they did not explain is that it would completely fall apart in my mechanic's hands a year later. Trust me when I say that I didn't drive a lot during the first year. It was a simply bad part. Still, I think the business deserves a thumbs up overall. The fact that I was sold a good truck is the most important detail. It will be the last truck I own in this lifetime. I'm happy with it.
