A 16 year old truck that had low mileage on it but had several blemishes, leaking rear differential seal, some aftermarket add on accessories (of which most didn't work), and they still wanted $2,300 over blue book. When we made an offer (blue book price), Lakota went back to relay it to the manager, quickly returned and said "no". It was apparent that all offers had to go through the manager, which of course is standard, but when I asked to have the manager come out to talk to us and counter offer, he refused. Apparently they don't care to sell their way overpriced vehicles. They're just to look at I guess. But any dealer who won't talk to potential customers can pound sand. read more

Another re-seller of cheap, unsafe vehicles. Went to look at their lot and took a used explorer for a test drive. Found out at 45 MPH that both the ABS wasn't working and the brakes failed to stop the vehicle in a safe manner. Sales representative argued that I didn't know what I was talking about and asked me, "Have you ever even driven an Explorer before?" After getting back to the dealership and pointing out to the sales rep that the calipers were directly in contact with the rotors....he refused to look or discuss the issue claiming he was not a mechanic but they would "take care of the issue prior to selling the vehicle". The vehicle had taken a rear impact and the bumper mounts had been sheared off. The sales rep kept repeating that since the CarFax didn't have a accedent on it, there is no way a vehicle could be in an accident. So they agree to "handle" the brakes at no charge but when I point out that the calipers, pads and rotors need replacing.... ...this would cause the price to rise by $4k? Looked at 10 vehicles on the lot, all of them high-mileage and with major issues. Taking my business elsewhere. read more

I had a very good experience recently purchasing a 2001 Jag S type that I had been looking for for some time. Like many people I was cautious re buying such an old used car so I went through the AARP used car buying program and discovered CFAC. Gene was our sales person and he was very professional. He had a relaxed no push style that we really appreciated. When we went back the next day to take possession of the car the front window would not close so Gene had it repaired and we got the car a week later. Bit of a hassle as we live 50 miles away. Ryan was also very helpful in doing all of the paper work. Unfortunately on the drive home the air conditioning was not working so I took it into my mechanic and there were a few things that needed fixing ( apparently some had been mentioned in the carfax report but we had missed that). Anyway Ryan was great in working with us and they covered a new battery and a little extra to help with our extra expenses. This was a great experience!!! Even though there could have been a lot of problems, the staff at CFAC helped to make this a great experience!!! We purchased a car and found out later that there was a noise that only happened when the car was cold... This was going to be a problem because our family was moving to Hawaii. The car was a dream car that my wife always wanted, so we didn't want to continue shopping. I called Ryan and he helped us to find a mechanic and they found out the problem. We had to leave the car on the mainland, even though it was not fixed yet. The staff got the car fixed, took our car to the port in Seattle and dropped it off! They went over and above to diagnose the problem, get it fixed, and take the car to the port to get transported to Hawaii!!! My wife and I have been looking at BMW M5's for a while and saw that these guys had one with really low miles, a clean car fax, and a really good price! I had called earlier to let them know we were coming down from Gig Harbor to take a look at it and when we got there we were greeted with a very warm welcome and they had the car sitting out front ready for us to drive. We had been thinking about trading in my wife's car but did not think we would get enough for it so we didn't even drive it that day but the guys (Ryan and Ray) showed us several options with or without trade in and we discovered that it made sense to trade in her car.
