Husband called yesterday to inquire about a Tundra. We live over 2 hours away from this dealership, so we asked for more videos and pictures to be sent. Eric said "he was looking right at the Tundra" and would get those sent right away. Fast forward today, we still never heard anything back. We called right when the dealership opened this morning, only to find out it was sold last night. Why didn't we get this type of transparency yesterday? DO NOT buy a car from this dealership! I have complained about my car since the 5K checkup that my touch screen or head unit as they call it did not work properly. Years back they had a tech come down from Tacoma who I was told was directly from Corporate examine it stating while under warranty the head unit should be replaced. The dealership stated it was 10k to replace and they would not cover the cost which is odd given it was still under warranty but they refused to help me and I didn't have 10k to replace it. I even opened a claim with Corporate and after back and forth they stated it was the responsibility of the dealership to help me. I also tried to get assistance from the Olympia dealership who also sent me right back here. I spoke with the owner Mr Pehl who assured me he would look into it and I never heard back from him even after leaving 3 additional messages for an update. Here we are 9 years later and it's worse and worse each time I take it in. I'm now being told it needs to be replaced and I will be responsible to pay the 10k since the warranty is expired. I have been through 4 different service managers and years of constant complaints about the exact same issues. I could go on and on about the lack of professionalism as I know more about the office drama than any customer should including a man who presented himself as a service manager when in fact he was just a tech and let go for reasons I won't mention and then the next one that was brought in from Lexus who was also let go I believe within 6 months. I have never taken my car anywhere but here for service for the hope that with years of complaints they would do the right thing when it got to the point it is now unfortunately I was very wrong. This last visit I was told there are multiple warnings on an old TSB that match my complaints. This was the first time I had ever been told the issues were known to Toyota. I worked with a young lady this last oil change and round of complains who was a breath of fresh air. For the first time in 9 years someone actually cared and although there is nothing she can do she reviewed years of notes confirming my feelings it should have been replaced years ago. She also informed me that once a complaint has been made I should not have to pay for any future diagnostics for the same complaint. I don't have proof but I'm fairly certain I have paid the 100 fee multiple times throughout the years so just one more scam. Although I'm frustrated this is not her fault just that fact that finally someone actually cared after years of being dismissed when I should been taken care of was a welcomed change. She was the first person to be brutally honest and informed we are at the end of road and there is nothing I can do which is why I'm now making this review after I held hope for 9 years. UPDATE: I actually did get a call back from Justin, the service manager. They did apologize and they are making changes. The accountability is very appreciated and means a lot to me. I hope to remain a Toyota loyalist. I've had spotty service from them over the last few years. One writer denied me a quote for new tires only to be told I needed tires the next time my vehicle service. Make sure to confirm with you any special requests like synthetic oil over conventional. if you decline a service, which you have every right to do, make sure they acknowledge your request so you are not taken advantage of. Don't expect anything being thrown in at a discount unless it's their current promotion. Maybe this will change like they are working on. We will see. read more

Toyota I5 was able to help me buy a car despite all the car parts shortage and I was also in South Carolina. They have a partnership with Costco and Lyle Talbot, my salesman, has been very helpful and ensured that everything was in place when I got to the dealership. I started the process of looking for a car when I moved to Washington at around April, and actually got the car around June. They even put hold on the car for me despite how in demand corolla hybrids are around that time. When I got to the dealership, the car was ready and the paperwork and it just took me close to an hour to finalize everything. The best thing of all is that I was able to get it at MSRP and without any dealer markups. Lyle has also been very patient dealing with my parents and made sure that when I got to the finance room, I was alone and he was able to keep my parents entertained and answered their questions patiently. I purchased an extended warranty (I5) with my 4Runner, and so far it has been completely useless. I brought my vehicle in for the 75,000-mile service and was told the only thing covered was a tire rotation. An alignment would have cost an additional $400, and no fluids, oil change, or other routine maintenance was included.I specifically reported that my steering wheel shakes when braking, which typically indicates uneven brake pads or warped rotors. Despite this, I was told the brakes and air filter were "good" without any meaningful explanation or resolution.On top of that, the technician said they needed access through my glove compartment to open something in the engine area. After the service, I was told they couldn't access it because it was locked--even though they had the key and should have been able to unlock it.The entire visit took 2.5 hours, despite there being only one or two other vehicles in the shop. Overall, this experience showed a lack of care for both customers and the vehicles they sell. I would strongly caution others to be very careful when dealing with this dealership. read more

Needed some aftermarket work done on my Subaru, been working a ton and wasn't up for doing it by hand so I went the lazy route and just payed for it. As nervous as I was to put non-warranted parts in somebody else's hands, I definitely came to the right place. I got hooked up with Justin and Logan from the service department and as busy as these guys are, they took my car in and hooked me up. New headlight housing, Coilovers, Rims and even swapped out all my bulbs for me. Service tech Logan is very knowledgeable and communicated very well with me to ensure the best outcome for my Car. I was led to believe by one of their salespeople that they could give me a better price on the new Camry that I was looking to buy. I had already negotiated with another dealership what I considered to be a good price for the car that I had spent weeks trying to find but this salesperson said that he could save me additional money if I would give him a week. I trusted his word and a week later he told me that the incoming inventory did not include an exact match. Thankfully I was able to go back to the original dealer and pick up where we left off. After getting on the road at 6 am with a packed car and trailer, snow flurries and wind blowing across I-5, and an 18-hour car ride ahead of us an alert on our dashboard beeped, and a yellow triangle with an exclamation mark appeared. Luckily we were a few miles away from the I-5 Toyota in Chehalis, which opened for service at 7:30 AM. Tella helped us identify what the issue was, had a crew of fellas help us unhook our trailer, got us in for a speedy oil change, helped reconnect the trailer, and got us back on the road in less than an hour! On top of that she was kind, helpful, and understanding of our situation. I won't be going back. My second visit there wasn't bad just annoying. It had been recommended previously that I get my rear struts done because of poor rebound. I made an appointment to get them done and also asked them to check out my car because I was having problems with intermittent shaking of the steering wheel at highway speeds and that it felt like my brakes were sticking. I made an appointment for the earlier part of the day hoping it'd be done by the time I got off work. They only started looking at it after I was off of work. They called and let me know that my rear struts didn't need to be done but that my front and rear brakes were bad. So I okay'd the work. When I went to pick up my car they refused to take my 15% off coupon from costco's auto service program - it wasn't expired. The receipt they gave me indicated that they also recommended I have my rear struts done which is annoying as that's what I had made the appointment for in the first place. The intermittent shaking was better but still not perfect and my brakes were now REALLY sensitive. I took my car into where I got my tires from this year thinking maybe one of my new tires were bad and separating and that was what was causing the shaking. The technician said it was my brakes, that when he took his foot off the brake pedal when it was idling my car wouldn't move. I told him I had just had my brakes done and it couldn't be that. I made another appointment at toyota and indicated it still felt that my brakes were sticking and that the intermittent shaking at highway speeds was happening again. I received a call saying I needed to get my brake pads replaced, rotors resurfaced, calipers replaced, and my rear struts still needed to be done. I okay'd the work for everything and was told they'd need to order a part and it would be in until the next day. No problem. I looked up the paperwork from the previous visit and called back within 15 minutes and couldn't reach a person. So I left a message with some questions on the necessity of the work as I had just had my brake pads replaced and rotors resurfaced not even two months prior and asked for a call back. They did not call me back. 4 days later I called and couldn't reach a person so I left a message. I called multiple times through out the day and couldn't reach a person. I felt like they were dodging my calls so I had my boyfriend call and he was able to reach a person first try. They let him know they were still waiting on a part and it should be in the following day and my car should be done then. I went to pick up my car the following day and asked why my calipers weren't done the first time I had my brakes done. They said my calipers were fine the first time they looked at them. I was upset at having to pay for another brake job in a 2 month time frame. They removed the 1 hour diagnostic fee and told me that I had also received a free brake flush which is a $400 value. Even though they removed the 1 hr diagnostic fee my total is still what they had quoted me over the phone. I looked at their website later and they list brake flushes at $150 not $400. They did take my coupon this time but when I checked my receipt when I got home they had only given me 10% off not 15%. I received a survery in my inbox and responded honestly. I received a call from I5 toyota and they offered to do my rear struts (which still haven't been done) and that I wouldn't have to pay for labor. They also let me know they use an answering service and so never received my messages. I appreciate the call but would rather they have eaten the cost of the brake pads and rotor resurfacing as well as give me the full 15% off from the coupons for both visits. read more

I've been taking my Tacoma to I-5 Toyota for servicing for the last several months. When it's time for service, I'd get email from Carfax reminding me that my truck is due for servicing, which is fine with me. After coming in for an oil change and tire rotation earlier this year, I kept receiving email from Carfax telling me I was overdue for a tire rotation. When I inquired with the service dept. I was told that it was a problem with Carfax, because my tires had been rotated. This last service (a couple of weeks ago), I marked my front tires to see if they'd be rotated. When I paid for the service, the advisor mentioned that it wouldn't be much longer until it would be time for new tires. When I got home, I checked for the marks and they had NOT rotated my tires. This along with the emails I got from Carfax after the previous service suggests that, despite requesting tire rotations, they had not been done for quite some time. I made attempts to contact the Service Manager to discuss this, but there was no response. I'll have to get my truck serviced elsewhere, because I can't trust these people. I don't know why the technician would skip the tire rotation, but indicate on the report that they had been rotated. Maybe that's why I'm getting closer to needing new tires. read more

We would not recommend getting a warranty for tires bought at Toyota. We spent a large amount of money for good tires plus the warranty for two years. We needed to get a new tire due to hitting a ladder on the freeway from it not being tied down. It immediately slashed the tires, thank goodness for the warranty right? Wrong, we were told yes it is covered and when it came time to put the tire on they told us sorry it's not covered due to it being road debris. thanks for everything Toyota... My 2007 V8 4 runner had a coolant leak after the timing belt/water pump replacement by I-5 Toyota of Centralia in Dec, 2020. The engine overheated occasionally and I had to top off around 2 quarts of coolant after within 5 months. I could see the leak in the contact between the thermostat housing and water pump. I took the front apart, easy fix. I discovered: 1. The right bold was over-torqued. 2. the two parts came apart easily as if the surfaces were not cleaned when the silicon sealant was applied. But I fixed it, easy. No more leak. read more

I have come here many times and I have been treated very well every single time. I am SO IMPRESSED with the employees in the service department. They are very knowledgeable, friendly, and extremely professional. They will literally go out of their way to help you with anything. The other day I couldn't figure out the coffee machine and someone came right over and helped me. That means a lot to me. I have never had any issues about feeling like I was being ripped off or cheated here. If the employees think I need a new air filter, they physically show me the one I have that is filthy and I agree that I would like to purchase a new one. They never assume I want to replace something without my permission. They always ask me, which is very appreciated. I did not buy my vehicle at this dealership so I cannot comment on that aspect, but I love the service department team and will not take my vehicle to anyone else for standard maintenance. Prices here are not too steep. I have nothing but good things to say about this dealership. I am extremely impressed with this dealership. The service department is a very well-oiled machine. Recently purchased a 2021 Toyota, which I LOVE! However, I5 Toyota would be the closest Toyota dealership to where I live so when I had some issues I brought the car there. First I could not get the Entune app working or the Toyota app, no Apple Car play...none of the goodies were working for me. When I initially went in to the dealership about this I was trying to explain the situation and was interrupted and asked if I'd purchased the car from them or a sister dealership, told Entune was no longer used. I had to repeat multiple times that the car is a 21' and still under warranty because instead of listening to me they quoted me with a price to fix something that was still under warranty. So an appointment was made for maintenance, to fix a problem under warranty and to assist me in getting full use of the app and iPad in the vehicle. I was just told to make sure that I had my phone with me so the apps/media could be coordinated with that. The maintenance was done, problem still under warranty was fixed, but when I asked about Entune, Toyota app, etc I was again told that Entune is no longer used and that for them to deal with the Toyota app I'd need to make another app. Sooo I purchased a $40k car less than a week ago and this is how I5 Toyota acts. This car has a lot of capabilities with the media,etc but unfortunately it looks like I'm on my own to try and figure out how to access those capabilities. I5 Toyota staff doesn't listen and really doesn't seem to care. If they can talk over you, Buffalo you, and just get you out of their dealership that's what they're going to do. read more

Sales Department offered to have Service Manager drive the car for his opinion and to see if he thought it was shifting right. He was a bit condescending to my wife upon his return. "Worked right for me" my wife told me he said. He started to turn quickly away and she asked him to "wait and explain his experience". she also said "my husband will be right back and can explain it better." (I had stepped away to get some water when he came back from test drive) The car was clearly not shifting right when you dropped a gear to pass. It also did not shift right when merging at the end of an on-ramp when you need acceleration. It would not grab the next gear. The Service Manager then asked us if it was "warmed up" and started to say that this Nissan transmission was like a snowmobile's. (WHAT?) We really felt like they thought they were taking advantage of an assumed ignorance. read more

Recent service appointment completely soured this company for me. I bought my car with no problems though I was initially quoted a much lower monthly payment than I was actually given. Nate (I think?) was kind and accommodating for a first-time buyer and made it a great and swift transaction. I did, of course, end up buying the service plan and he gave me a booklet of the coverage and stated that within 45,000 miles or three years (whichever came first) that the service plan would fix any broken or worn parts in that warranty. Fast forward almost two years: check engine light is on and the car is shaking during braking and not accelerating out of a stop unless I punch the accelerator. I took it to I-5 Toyota because they had knowledge of the service plan that they sold me. I left it with them for TWO weeks while I was on a work trip. The mechanic charged me $160 for an oil change (was 3/4 low from leaking) and a 'diagnosis' and told me that they weren't supposed to tear the engine apart and that I would have to drive another 1000 miles and then check to see if the oil was still low before they could do any repairs. I asked him before I picked it up if the check engine light was off. He said he didn't know. Stepdad drove the car to pick me up from the airport and it was on. By the time I got home it was shaking and not accelerating AGAIN. Extremely disappointed in the 'service plan' and disappointed in the service given. read more
