I greatly appreciate that because I have been taken advantage of way too many times in the past by dishonest mechanics! Also, they just like the color pink so the name stuck, voila!! My brakes needed repair and Mark spent so much time with me, after the repair, explaining why they wore so quickly. It was because I wasn't braking correctly! Now I try to pay more attention to this! Another time my husband gave me a coupon he had for a special they were running for an oil change, which is what I was bringing my car in for. I usually speak with Stephanie, in customer service, at the front desk. She is the nicest person and the epitome of what customer service should be. She goes out of her way to accomodate you and is extremely efficient! This particular day though, I dealt with Aggie, part owner of Pinky's. The coupon was for part synthetic oil but my car took full synthetic oil so Aggie told me the cost beforehand, which wasn't really much more anyway! Another time, my tire had a slow leak because I ran over a nail. My tire was patched and a year later it's still fine. My daughter has a 2013 Hyundai which has needed a lot of work over the past year. Mark diagnosed everything accurately and made the necessary repairs at a very reasonable price with a long term warranty! I also have to comment on the waiting area and bathroom as I'm one to pay attention to detail. The waiting area is clean and tidy with a TV and snack machine so it's very comfortable should you choose to wait for your car. The bathroom is also very clean and tidy and.... there's PINK toilet paper!!! That's just awesome!! If you are looking for a great and honest Mechanic, your search stops here! To begin, we had a car seat/ stroller that was given to us by a well meaning friend. Upon review of it, Chris immediately said that it did not meet current safety guidelines and suggested that we cut the straps and throw it out, which we did just that! I already felt safer knowing that he was knowledgeable about the most recent recalls and safety measures. Then, with patience, he installed our new car seat and bases in each of our vehicles, at no charge, and gave us a FULL education about the seat itself, how to use it, and so much more information that I never would have expected to learn. Chris is the authority on car seat installs and I would never go ANYWHERE else. I have already recommended him to all my friends and family who are expecting. A+++++++ for the service at Continental. I am the original owner of a 2009 Jeep Cherokee Limited which is in excellent mechanical condition…read morewith 155,000 miles and has a body in great shape, free of dents and rust. The undercarriage, however, was completely rust covered. After an internet search, I gave Steve a call. He was gracious enough to spend about 20 minutes on the phone explaining to me the mechanics of rust remediation and agreed to take a look at my car. Ultimately, Steve and Rob removed the rust and replaced two safety plates underneath, one on the gas tank and the other on the front differential. On their recommendation, struts, shocks, bushings, and all of the mechanical linkages were replaced. The result of all this work is that I have a 15 year old car that literally drives like new. I cannot say enough about the job Steve and Rob did for me. They were always caring, considerate, informative, and accommodating. And, the price was extremely fair and work was finished on time when promised. Do yourself a favor and give Steve a call if you need a restoration. Get lucky like me and find a couple of mechanics you can really trust.
