This spot is right downtown, and has plenty of room inside to hang or just wait for your coffee and get back on the road. We ordered the avocado toast and I also got the the Mazapan coffee, I've actually never had this style before, saw peanut butter on the description and decided to try it, it was super good. The peanut butter inside of it was chunky and crunchy, not mushy, a nice surprise I wasn't expecting. We also got a toasted bagel and avocado toast, both of which were quality. Would for sure return for some coffee and a small bite.

After waiting about 5 minutes for someone to take our order, someone came out and told us they were closed on Sundays. Needless to say, we were instantly bummed. I explained, "My girlfriend just got her wisdom teeth out and she just wanted a cold treat." She replied, "Well, if it's something quick, I can take care of you guys. Just meet me at the window." We went to the window, and she made her the Cookie Monster shake exactly how we asked for it. The fact that she was willing to serve us after hours just because she heard my girlfriend wanted a little treat genuinely meant a lot. As a thank-you for going out of her way, I gave her a $10 tip to show our appreciation. It's little gestures like that that make customers want to come back. I was excited to try this place out, however I was deeply disappointed. Once you get inside the gas station, you go over to the coffee counter and order your drink. I wasn't sure on what to get and noticed the flyer on the counter. So I went with the Bad and Boujee. The 3 shots of espresso got my attention, therefore I ordered a large and iced. The sign also said that the "hot" drinks are not filled to the top, so I didn't even think that my drink would apply. Once you're done ordering they give you a receipt and you take that to the actual gas station main counter, where you pay for gas, which is locations to the right of them as soon as you enter. It was pricey. Their iced large is priced at $5.15. They have indoor seating to the right side as soon as you enter. About three seating tables and a tall counter with about 4-5 barstools. When you're seating there you cannot see the coffees that are ready. That being said, once your coffee is ready, it's placed on the counter to the left of where they took your order. You just had to make sure you stood in front of it until your drink is ready, since they don't call out orders. And to my surprise, I received a half empty/half full cup of coffee. I was really looking forward to my LARGE iced drink. The drink itself was delicious. I mean, 3 shots of espresso and 3 pumps of white mocha. Yum.! I was just disappointed that the girl working there didn't mention that the drink would only come half full. I even expressed my excitement towards the need for the large when I was ordering and we made it known that it was our first time trying it. I wouldn't have minded paying extra to top it off. I was just disappointed that it was mentioned. However I finished my drink in about 4 sips. The espresso was good along with a ton of ice. My friends that came with me ordered the same thing except they paid extra for them to add oat milk that way it would be topped off. The pricing wasn't bad. They were charged an extra .70cents. Overall the pricing was good. The drinks were delicious. It was just the customer service for me.

He was so right. Superior Dairy is temporarily operating out of a small trailer while its classic old building across the street is undergoing renovations. That might not sound like the ideal setup, but the two young ladies working there certainly didn't let it get in the way of providing a great experience. Both were exceptionally friendly and helpful and seemed genuinely happy to take care of us. I somewhat hesitantly asked whether they could make a pineapple milkshake. This was a deal breaker at Cold Stone when they looked at me like I was crazy for asking--I've never been back. Here, though, there was a brief "Hmm..." moment before one of the young ladies said, "We don't have a pineapple shake on the menu, but we certainly could add fresh pineapple to our vanilla ice cream." Sold! The result was an excellent fresh-pineapple milkshake--and exactly the kind of little bit of creativity and customer service that makes a stop memorable. It tasted so good on a hot day! The temporary location is actually quite pleasant, sitting alongside a beautiful park near Hanford's civic auditorium, with shaded outdoor seating where you can enjoy your ice cream. There's some interesting history right there as well: The distinctive building behind the stand is the old Kings County jail, known locally as "The Bastille." And then there's the ice cream itself. The temporary operation may mean simple surroundings and very plain serving cups, but don't let appearances fool you. The cups are plain, but the taste is not. My only regret is that I didn't try the fresh peach. Based on that pineapple milkshake, I have a feeling I missed something pretty special. Superior Dairy was a fun, friendly, unexpected stop on the trip home--and one I'd happily make again.

Perfect hot or cold. We tried the Sweet Senorita and Blonde Bombshell. Their french toast bagel sandwich is pretty good. I enjoyed it a lot more than I thought. Not too sweet and not greasy at all. And just like everyone has said, the service was super friendly. Very, very nice. So if you're on this side of town and craving some coffee, it's definitely a good quick stop at their kiosk.
