Very nice coffee shop in the heart of downtown. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about coffee. My wife wanted something for my kids without coffee in it and the staff made up a couple of great drinks with kid friendly ingredients. Wow, great looking place! You step out of the 110 degree central valley heat into a coffee shop that transports you to Portland or Seattle. Well done! I've only tried a couple of their blended drinks and they were good. I'll definitely go back and try others. The few times I've been the service has been head-scratching, like the counter folk are confused, and it other times it's top-notch! The owner seems quite knowledgeable. I'm a little conflicted. I really love this place, they are super friendly, and have great drinks. The super friendly might also be their downfall. On more than one occasion I have not gotten what I ordered. Of course when you are juggling kids and multiple drinks you tend not to taste it until you are on the road, and by then it's too late to go back. It's like they aren't super focused on the making drinks part. Also, it takes much longer than it should for drinks. My most recent drink should have been a cacao mocha, which I have ordered multiple times and love, but I got espresso and milk . It wasn't busy at all. In fact, there was no one in front of me, 3 employees, 3 people that appeared to be friends of the employees, and 1 customer behind me. read more

Pleasant and nice, and though they're connected with the Koinonia Church in Hanford (not my faith), there is no proselytizing or anything like that. I like patronizing 'Mom 'n Pop'-type places, and they are a pleasant change from Starbucks. It doesn't hurt that I had a couple of very nice dates there, and pretty much started one relationship there about which I was very excited, so good memories. Disclaimer: the only reason I didn't give it '5 stars', is because 1) I think all coffee places are over-priced, and 2) I am not a fan of people sweeping near my table while I am still there. If I'm shutting the place down (as we did, at least once), then it's understandable. At Denny's, for instance, they're vacuuming right near you, kicking up dust, and it is obnoxious. Been here a couple times, coffee is great, nice good clean friendly staff, not located in a bad area, usually get there cold brew and never disappointed! I believe the owner was in an old Christian cult back in the day, but either way, they know how to make there customers feel appreciated. Highkey recommend. read more

This place is decorated so cute, very modern and gives a Great vibe. Neil i think is the name of the "main guy". He was great, seems to be the only knowledgeable one when it comes to making the drinks. The women there don't seem to know anything about coffee, the hiring process seems to have been by appearance, not barista skills. Never is it professional to say after forgetting someones drink "oh, you know how it is.".. Or ask the other employee "umm, what should I do this lady just wants water!" The drinks ARE good when the right people are there, but another downside is the wait time. After waiting longer than I felt necessary my drink had way too much ice and so little drink I had only taken about 3 sips before it was completely empty. I really had high hopes for this place and I want it to last. Hopefully the baristas can get it together. Two stars for the decor, one for Neil. read more

Definitely a much needed in Hanford! They serve Lanna on espresso (which is delish!!!). All of their syrups are house made and flavorful. Their customer service is also pretty good, the barista was kind enough to walk me through the entire menu and answer any questions I had which was very helpful with it being my first time. Their lavender latte was delicious! I wasn't expecting much with not having heard many things about one eleven, but they did not disappoint. Pleasant enough place marred by impossibly slow service. Big city prices but rural speeds. Avoid if there's anywhere else open.

The place I go to end the disappointment of other cafes. Having recently returned from a weekend in Las Vegas, where two different non-franchise cafes couldn't even manage basic competence at a simple mocha, this was the place I knew could rinse away the literal bad taste left in the mouth. Having been a frequent patron for almost two years, this is the place that isn't just an alternative to Starbucks in my small-ish town, but a great place in its own right. The best mochas I've ever had, one of the best vanilla coffees ever ordered, and a super friendly atmosphere at all times from customers and staff alike. My one complaint is the sometimes spotty wi-fi, which could use a troubleshooting or an upgrade. Regardless, I've traded in three and four-times-weekly trips to the aforementioned franchise place for one or two times a week visit here, on account of the better all-around experience. read more
