Got a fair quote and they were able to squeeze me in the next day even though it was the weekend! Had our whole house repiped by one day. Terrific experience from quote to job to drywall. Now that I've gone through it I realize how important the final drywall/texture is because that's the final thing you see. Jose the owner came out to quote. Although he wasn't the cheapest he was pretty close and won me over with his down to earth talk. No salesman pitch. Price was competitive and he came out the very next day for the job. He came with a large crew of 6 ppl and they worked nonstop from 8am to 8pm, with only a short lunch break in between. My exterior water service line had leakage issues between the water meter and the house main valve (about 50 feet distance, underground, 15 years age). I quoted several plumber companies, all of them insist to install the new service line, instead of repairing the current one, which requires tearing up drive way and digging trenches. Mr. Jose from One Day Complete Repipe carefully inspected my properties, he gave me suggestions that the leakage likely happened between the water meter pipe and PVC pipe connection area. From his knowledge and experience, repairing the leakage will be much reasonable and easier than replacing the whole service line. He provided me a fair quote and I accepted it. My main water line started leaking. It was an old galvanized pipe. I got two quotes. Jose from One Day was extremely reasonable (far lower than the other quote!) and agreed to do the job 3 days after my approval. All the utilities had to be marked first which he coordinated and was done within 2 days after his initial visit. He was very responsive and i am very glad I went with him. It was a 50' run which he did trenchless, installed copper line and connected my house line as well as irrigation line and 3 valves. He did all of this in 1 day. TL;DR One Day Complete Repipe did a fantastic job of putting in the gas extension line, managing the permit process, and ultimately hooking up our new gas range. They priced fairly and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again or recommend them. Background As I admire our new gas range I can't help, but reflect on the experience that got us here after almost a month. Our trusty electric range had a problem and though we initially thought we would repair it, it had been 9 yrs and we thought it was a good time to upgrade. My wife preferred gas, but while we had an existing gas line in the house for the furnace and water heater there was no gas line leading to the kitchen. We went back and forth on whether we should get another electric or possible induction range or go for gas even though we needed to get gas to our kitchen somehow for our new range. We decided to get estimates for the work as this would help with our final decision of electric vs gas. After asking friends if they could recommend a plumber (no luck) it was time to hit next door and yelp. We were fortunate early on as a reputable plumber checked the amount of btu's we were using for furnace and hot water heater, used an estimate for the amount needed by a range (65,000) and calculated based on the length of gas main to house and size of pipe. Long story short he said they could use the existing line. Their quote was quite high even without a permit or else we would have chosen them. After that we had a parade of plumbers (needed a spreadsheet to manage them) tell us us we "needed" a new line and it would cost $1,500 to $2,000. These were plumbers with many 5-star reviews on yelp. Also almost all were very loose on the permit issue. Basically they would ask if we wanted it or not, but if you did it would cost extra. Jose came in and provided a fair quote and said they could extend the existing pipeline. He also said that we needed a permit despite what others would say. I thought this made sense especially for home insurance purposes. We agreed on a fair price, the team came in and did the work, managed the permit process, and now we're enjoying a beautiful range cooking with gas. They are an excellent team. They worked on my home last September and it was a great experience compared to what I saw at others' homes. We are glad that we had the right team to help us. The quote was reasonable and they said they could do it one day so we decided to have them repipe our home. Outstanding! Everything about them: professionalism, punctuality, customer service. Scott come to my Santa Clara home on-time for every meeting. We walked through the house together and I pointed out what I wanted. We discussed water softener options and what was entailed plumbing-wise. That required a few reconfigurations of my laundry room that required a second visit to discuss with Jose the owner. One the day of the job the team arrived on time (9am) and began work right away. Their original estimate was they would complete the work by 6 but it took them until 9pm. But they were good to their word. The work was complete and the water was turned back on. The reason the job took longer was Jose had to come in himself and fill in for an employee who got ill as well as having to add a new drain to accommodate the new laundry room configuration. The second day Jose came back to address a few small items I pointed out needed tweaking. A Father/Son drywall team was there to wait for the rough plumbing inspection. They walked the inspector through the plumbing and asked if he could sign off the final at the same time which he couldn't. After the inspector left (2pm) they patched all the of the drywall inside and in the garage as well. They did an AMAZING job where they even patched holes that they didn't cause. They even helped me out by swapping the washer and dryer around which would have cost me a sore back and over an hour. They just lifted one right over the other! Outstanding customer service! However, after a couple of years it seems the pipes' insulation broke down. This review is late. One Day Complete Repipe replaced all our old galvanized pipes from the inside of our house to the water pipes that go to the street with copper. This was done around the summer of 2016. On the day of the job, the guys that came out were great. Very friendly guys and some of them were funny. I forgot the foreman's name (I think it was Jose) but he was always listening to my concerns. They crawled under my house, did the cutting and removed all the galvanized steel pipes. They were all corroded!!! OMG, I can't believe we have been using these pipes for years. They finished in one day! I'm amazed how fast they work and clean too. They placed drapes and covered our wood floors and carpet. They taped up our walls too from collecting dust and also put covers on our couches. Since then I've recommended them to a few of my friends who own homes. They do offer lifetime workmanship guarantee on the repipe.
