We had them completely repipe both water and sewer lines at my girlfriend's house. We also had a tankless water heater installed and relocated from where the old water heater was. They weren't the lowest price, but they provided a very competitive bid. As with any job of this size there were a few hiccups, but Fidel and his crew quickly addressed everything we asked. They even did a couple of extras at no charge. The reason I'm writing this review is that I "supervised" the job because my girlfriend doesn't have experience with plumbing. It's been 5 years since we first worked with Gomez Sewer & Drain, Fidel, Ivan, and all the amazing crews. Since then, what have we NOT done with them when it comes to plumbing needs? Probably nothing! These folks ate great. When I initially called for a clogged kitchen drain I spoke with Santa. She was kind, patient and knowledgeable. So I chose them for my drain issue likely in part because of her demeanor. Santos and an assistant came out quickly and fixed the issue quickly. I hate to give a place one star when I receive a refund but unfortunately this is well deserved. A guy came to repair our toilet upstairs which had some water leakage around it. Found out the floor was pretty badly damaged but he still installed a wax seal and some anchors--I thought everything was fine. Later last night the toilet started absolutely flooding. There used to be one small crack in the ceiling below the toilet, now there are two large cracks with water dripping down. (Water wasn't dripping down before). Plumber said that the hose was "on its last leg" but for some reason didn't replace it?? It took my husband 5 mins to see that the top of the toilet was leaking onto the already damaged hose causing all of the flooding. Husband was able to replace the hose easily and will replace the piece inside top part as a temporary fix. Plumber said it was "too risky" to replace the hose--what???? I've included pictures of the damage and flooding water. There are 3 people living in this house & we needed to keep the water on to go to the bathroom, take showers etc and all night we had dirty toilet water dripping on us...not fun and now we need to repair the further damage to the floor and ceiling.... read more

Fidel Gomez and the Gomez Sewer & Drain business are amazing! They are incredibly communicative and respectful of their cutomers' time. For example, on each visit, Fidel texted to let me know exactly what time he would be arriving. The first time he came to install a new bathroom faucet, Fidel took one look at the faucet set I had purchased ahead of time and recommended that I order a different, more reputable brand that would provide better quality and durability. This was an honest recommendation with no financial benefit to him, since I would be purchasing it separately on my own, not via him nor his business. Fidel helped me search online for an appropriate, high quality replacement faucet and did not charge for this initial visit. Instead, he checked in after the visit to see if the new faucet had arrived yet and once it did, he scheduled a return appointment that was convenient for *my* schedule. The work he did to replace not only the faucet, but also new flush valves for my toilet was suberb. He took extra care to keep the bathroom clean and free of debris, making sure to clean up after himself. And during each of his visits, he was pleasant, efficient, and professional. We purchased a replacement faucet, but did not have the tools to install it. Gomez Plumbing was just a couple of miles away from us, so we called them to set up an appointment. They contacted me the same day as the Yelp request and asked for more details and photos. The following day we made the appointment time to for the end of the week. The plumber arrived about 15 minutes late, but had contacted us earlier stating that another job took a bit longer than anticipated. Kudos for being in top of communicating with us. In about 30 minutes the kitchen faucet was switched out and we no longer had a calcified handle that was frozen in place. He told me that the hole drilled out in the granite counter was too large of diameter for the standard fixture. He went back to his truck and retrieved a few shins to keep the mount in place. Fixed the shower issue we were having where the faucets were not working properly. Replaced one of the cartridges and the other one was a refurbished unit. Plumber says he will come back to replace that refurbished one with a new one but still waiting for that. He helped with a few other issues and all in all seemed like a nice guy willing to help out with any issues that we had. Once the other cartridge is replaced, I'll bump it up to a 5. Updating my review... since 2019 I've had repeated clogged drains due to old galvanized plumbing so I had Fidel Gomez and his team change out our entire drain and supply lines back in 2020. They were very professional and respectful of our COVID precautions at the time as well. They've also been by the help seal a toilet wax ring on the weekend and a shower valve. Most recently, Fidel stopped by to help pinpoint a leak in our tankless water heater (installed by someone else) that was causing a high water bill. He fit us at the end of a very busy day (same day) and didn't even charge me a trip fee. I think I'm now in his cell phone speed dial but that's the kind of customer service you get with this company! read more

Wow, Ivan and his partner, as well as the secretary (whose name I didn't get) were all great and really professional. We had a tub back-up and needed it snaked. They were able to come out the next day. The secretary was knowledgeable about what was likely going on and everyone was polite and helpful. I've been looking for a new plumber ever since our previous plumber left the company he previously worked for and the other plumber the company sent out seemed to want to charge me for unnecessary work (long story, but their assessments didn't make sense and my handyman didn't know why they were trying to do the work they wanted to do). I am not sure about that, so I hired Gomez to camera scope the line, and they found the line is in perfect condition. Then I hired them to install a 2 way clean out. I had a major plumbing issue with my house that needed immediate repairing. However, none of the plumbers were able to identify the issue with the eye (nor a camera) since my underground pipes were clogged with dirt, etc. After speaking with 6 plumbers, ONLY 2 provided me with a SMART, creative simple affordable solution to clear my piping (pumping from the front of the house to the toilet pipes = versus = pumping from the toilet to the sewer). This solution clear my pipes for a camera to enter and identify the real issues with my plumbing which we discovered was not under my house. I have been using Go-Mez Plumbing Sewer & Drain for a few years and would not think about using anybody else. Ivan and his partner came out to install a new kitchen faucet. After removing the old faucet and almost completed with the new faucet they found out a major installation piece was missing from the box. So they uninstalled the new and put the old one back.
