Early in 2014, we signed a contract with Theatre Extreme in Richmond, VA to install a home theater in our new home in Chesterfield. We provided funds to Theatre Extreme as per our contract presumably to purchase the materials and prepare for the installation. As we approached the installation time, we stopped by their store front in Short Pump, and found an empty store with a note on the door that they had gone bankrupt and were out of business. We were devastated. One of their former employees, JD, went above and beyond to find some equipment to help to start the installation. We contacted Henry ad LiveWire, and in his compassion and good businesss sense, he and JD worked with us, many times taking no profit whatsoever, in order to help us complete the project. It's comforting when you deal with businesses who keep their word and do what they say. It's rare when you see these companies go above and beyond. It's truly unbelievable to find a company who will put their own interests aside and work passionately to develop a solution to a problem which they did create nor for which they had any responsibility. I received limited replies, and the few I did receive had absurd pricing and was not able to do the installation in the time I needed it done. Even though 'Wired Up' had no reviews at the time, they were the only provider who responded with an honest quote and were able to fit me into their schedule. Andrew came onsite, and quickly got to work with the installation. Unfortunately, he ran into several obstacles (not his fault) with my wireless internet and the Nest devices not communicating properly. Instead of dropping the problem in my lap to deal with, he stayed for several hours troubleshooting my wireless issues until he got everything resolved so the Nest devices could communicate properly. Words can't even describe the level of professionalism and customer service provided to get this accomplished! I chose 3G before they even quoted me because it is a small Veteran-Owned business that I worked with previously for a security camera installation. Prior to contacting 3G, I received quotes from companies whose prices were outrageously higher and charged for brackets, basic audio setup, furniture assembly and custom surface mounting. Al and Vince called prior to their arrival and maintained a constant flow of communication upon arriving and throughout the installation. My entertainment center was a complete disaster with wires everywhere and no order whatsoever. I did not have an electrical outlet in my brick fireplace, so Vince and Al added one in my entertainment center. He ran electrical wire from my outlet to my wall-mounted entertainment center for no additional cost. TV mounting with 3G is more than throwing a television on a wall, it is customer service experience centered on creating the best option for you. They came in, assessed the layout and devised a solution that would work best for me. Aside from cleaning up the wires that were in total disarray prior to their installation and mounting my television, they also troubleshot my audio system and strategically hung my surround-sound speakers for no additional charge. The owner,…read moreVince Lezama, tries to put on a good show when trying to sell you his service, however, after final payment is made he changes,...similar to Jekyll and Hyde. Case in point. Paid over $5K for a commercial installation involving security camera's with a one year labor warranty and three year parts warranty. In less than a week following installation, we began to have problems. First issue, Mr. Lezama suggested a reboot which seemed to resolve the issue. Three days later-same issue. We were down for eight days until he came out and found some loose wires. Three and half months later-same issue. He then said that he will not come out any more unless we agree to an extended service warranty. I made every effort to explain to Mr. Lezama that it makes no sense to purchase an additional extended service warranty if he had difficulty honoring the existing one year warranty. He then went off the deep end and sent all types of threatening texts. Texts from a person that would greatly benefit from being under medication and the care of a licensed professional. Needless to say we are in court with a "slam dunk" case. However, as the saying goes "can't get blood out of a turnip" will probably be the case.
