I went thru 3 realtors and interviewed with them. Most didn't understand my families lifestyle. My husband isn't available due to work traveling and we have a busy, independent toddler girl who isn't always accommodating at times, lol! However, when I first talked to Hilary Miller I knew my family had found THE ONE! She was pleasant, listened to my ideas and didn't try to push her agenda. Hilary took the knowledge I had and added her expertise to our home search. We wanted to do a new build and she walked us through the whole process. Even the crazy broker that tried to gouge us for crazy interest rates/money down...she did all this while on vacation with her family. I felt horrible, but she reassured us that she was there to help us the whole way. She was an advocate, when I didn't have the energy to fight anymore with that situation. My family is now 3 months in and enjoying our new home!!! Oooh she finagled us to get a washer/dryer thrown in for free too! :) I will be forever thankful.... They take such amazing care around our animals (which means the world to us), and every visit takes a huge weight off our shoulders. It's hard to describe the peace of mind that comes from walking into a home that's spotless without having to lift a finger. What really sets Jinie apart is her attention to detail. She notices little things I'd completely overlook and quietly makes our home function and feel even better. She went so far as to repair a scratch on a piece of my furniture that she was oiling. It's the kind of care that genuinely improves our quality of life. And can we talk about the toilet paper stickers? They are my absolute favorite little surprise every time. It's such a tiny touch, but it makes me smile every single visit. If you're on the fence, stop dusting around the issue and book them already. Jinie and her team are simply fantastic. Our home has never looked better, and our stress has never been lower!

Brad Gamlin, the owner of Advanced Home Inspection, should be named Brad Gamblin', because that's…read morewhat you do when you hire him. Roll the dice. They probably do fine work most of the time, but if they miss something, you're out of luck. I wouldn't want to take that chance on such a large investment, but at the time I didn't know we couldn't trust the very people we hired to help us feel secure. We had a rotted beam (the main support beam in the crawlspace, not some beam hidden in a wall) and a poorly installed vapor barrier that, upon re-inspection, Advanced Home Inspection claimed were both addressed properly. Had they done the due diligence we paid them for, they might have found that neither of the items were done correctly (an exterminator pointed it out!). Then we could have either chosen not to purchase the house or gone back to the owners to fix the issues. But now we're stuck needing to invest an extra $30,000 in the house that we hadn't expected. When we approached Mr. Gamlin, about the oversight, he spent a good deal of time talking about how we can't sue him, and if we could, we could only get their fee we paid back. We hadn't even brought up the option of suing him, but he seemed fixated on it. He admitted that they made a mistake, but that they weren't going to cover any of the expenses. We hadn't expected all of the cost, but something to show some accountability. He directed us to their warranty company that required information to which we didn't have access. We went back to him for assistance with the warranty company, and he refused to offer any additional help. The only compensation he offered was a dehumidifier, for which we were grateful. We expected the kind of dehumidifier that is meant for crawlspaces. What we got was a cheap small room dehumidifier that would likely burn the house down if we put it underneath where he intended it to go. This leads me to believe that either he knew the dehumidifier was inadequate at best and potentially dangerous, and he didn't care, or he just does things without understanding the consequences and figures if there is a problem, he can just shrug and walk away. Our experience shows that Brad Gamlin has no integrity and possibly very little common sense and should not be trusted to inspect homes.

I'm finally leaving this review because of a serious underwriting error and the way NFM Lending…read morehandled my loan back in 2014. I purchased a recently rehabilitated home using an FHA loan through NFM Lending. During underwriting, NFM failed to identify an FHA timing requirement related to the property's rehabilitation. I was allowed to close approximately 11 days earlier than I should have, which ultimately meant my loan could not be FHA-insured. NFM did not call me when this was discovered. Instead, I received a letter informing me that they were unable to insure my loan through the FHA and had cancelled the FHA case number. I had been working with Matt throughout the entire loan process. When I called him after receiving the letter, he pretended as though he had no knowledge of what had happened. Shortly afterward, Jessie contacted me and explained that NFM had made a MAJOR mistake. Their solution to their mistake was for me to refinance my mortgage with them. That meant running my credit again, putting me through another loan process, and refinancing the mortgage they had already mishandled in the first place. They offered to lower my interest rate by 0.4% and provide a lender credit (money I already paid) so that I would have nothing needed for closing. I declined. A lender's underwriting error should not become the customer's responsibility to correct through another credit inquiry and refinance. Again, they sent this in a letter. My loan was eventually sold off as a scratch and dent loan. If you are considering The Cowart team of NFM Lending for a home purchase, don't!
