I went by here on Friday and they appear to not have returned/closed up shop following hurricane Ida but in case their down for some renovations here we go. I'll begin with the bad, they are high, sometimes egregiously so, as in $12 - $15 for a standard white men's dress shirt high. So everything you have read here about their prices is spot on and if that is a determining factor for a cleaners then One is certainly not for you. They also have had a bunch of employees turn around over the last couple of years so customer service has been less than ideal since 2017 or so. Here's the saving grace...their good, like really good, as in I have several spot in white pants I don't have to point out because they don't miss spots good. They have never returned and item to me shrunken, damaged, or unclean. If there's a spot they can not get out they don't wait for you to get home and discover it they point it out to me before I leave the store. For this reason I have taken all my nicest and most delicate items to One. Unfortunately because they're so freaking expensive I take 90 percent of my items to a secondary cleaners. If they were more reasonable I'd rate them higher but the cost has to lose them a star. I hope they reopen or I'll have to go on the hunt for another great dry cleaning company. read more

They got blueberry stains out of a light green dress-true miracle workers!!! Also, cleaned my daughter's wedding dress (intricate floral appliqués) to perfection! They are the best read more

I actually found this place from yelp because I was looking for a place to get a couture dress cleaned. I brought 2 wedding dresses here in November and I was told that I pay half of the balance at that time and when I see the remainder get charged to my card that means dresses are done. I was hesitant because it seemed like no one would notify me and that I would have to constantly be checking to see if I was charged. Months passed with no word and I noticed I was charged on my card. I called in FEBRUARY and asked about the status of my dresses. I was told they still weren't complete and to call back. I asked why I had to call back and would no one call me to tell me if it were done?? The lady on the phone said they might not call so just call back in 2 weeks. I'm annoyed at this point. So I ended up getting busy and I didn't call back until almost a month later and was told my dresses still were "processing" so I'm like what does that mean, you've had my dresses for over 4 months. So the only person there who even bothered to look further into it was Keyshawn. She told me that the dresses were ready but nobody ever completed the ticket. Wow. So I finally get to pick up my dresses and the woman who was working puts them on the hanging rack and I thought she was going to show me the dresses outside of the bag to make sure everything was finished but she said "umm you can take them" so I opened everything myself and looked before I left. The customer service was horrible. The dresses appear clean that's the only saving grace read more

DO NOT USE THIS CLEANERS. They are con artists. I was duped out of $180. I brought my daughter's wedding dress to be steamed and a dress shirt for my husband to be pressed on a Monday and told them I needed it for Saturday. They assured me it was something they could do. When I picked them up, I thought the shirt looked wrinkled but thought surely it was just the bag. After I paid, I decided to look at it. It looked worse than when I took it out of the package it came in. I expressed my dissatisfaction profusely but all they could say was they didn't have a presser to redo it. No offer of a refund or anything. Then I expressed my concern about how well they had steamed the wedding dress if the shirt looked like it did. I sincerely hoped and prayed that they had done such a great job on the dress it would compensate for the shirt. How wrong I was. I believe all they did was put the shirt on one of their hangers and put a plastic bag over it and they transferred the wedding dress from the bag it came in to one of their own. Do not be duped like I was! read more

I care about my clothes, but I also care about my finances. I can't afford to pay $12 - $18 per coat/jacket every time they get a little dirty. I stopped by here because I had had my work blazer and thick pea coat in my back seat in a bag for 2 weeks because I hadn't had a chance to stop by ny normal cleaners. This was on my way, while running another errand. The staff was super friendly. i didn't bother to ask how much it was going to be because I figured it couldn't be more than $25 for two blazers and I was in a rush. I've taken my clothes to several small immigrant-run cleaners and I've never had any problems. This is just a little too pricey for me. There are a lot of things I wouldn't mind spending the money for, but a blazer isn't one of them if I know I can get the same results somewhere else. Money is a little tight for me right now. I'll come back if it's an emergency, but if not, I'll stick with the corner cleaner that can barely pronoune "thank ou." read more

The only dry cleaners I go to anymore. While their prices are very extreme, I do not usually have problems with them. They aren't the friendliest, but they are definitely more professional than other establishments. Unfortunately, high price items require a high price for cleaning because they would be expensive to replace. This seems logical to me because I have had multiple very pricey irreplaceable items ruined by other cleaning services. If you ask, they do have a sort of "work-up" on their prices. When I bring things in, I ask approximately how much each item will cost. Lined things, nicer fabrics such as silks, and heavier materials cost more. I do have a couple silk dresses that I purchased on sale for $50. Because it would've cost me $50 to clean them I took my chances with the hand wash and hang dry. They certainly won't last as long that way, but I don't want to pay for them again every time I want them cleaned. read more

Yes, $23 is a lot to spend to get a dress dry-cleaned. But I wore a relatively expensive white cocktail dress to a party at a winery and, well...I'm sure you can guess the rest. The employees are really nice and they got month-old red wine stains out of my dress, to boot. I'll definitely take all my special/horribly stained dry cleaning there from now on. read more

If I could give this place zero stars I would. First off, they're extremely overpriced. Second, they lost the belt to one of my rompers & claimed "oh it must be on the conveyor belt" never once looked for it and never called me with updates like they promised they would. Basically if you want to spend an outrageous amount of money to get your clothes cleaned & then have them misplace clothing, go to one cleaners. read more

Horrible....they took 4 days to launder 3 shirts for me. Dropped off on Monday at 7am and was told pick them up Thursday, unless I wanted to pay an additional fee. Secondly, I was charged .84 more for one shirt because it was a name brand....launder instructions were no different than the other two.... NEVER COMING BACK TO THIS RIP OFF OF A CLEANERS!!! You have been warned! read more

This is a warning to please check the sleeves of any garment that has been cleaned at One. Unfortunately, we did not notice for quite awhile that a common practice of puncturing the material just above the cuff with a Dennison machine to attach cleaning instructions was done routinely and repeatedly. This caused holes and tears to form in many of our clothes. When brought to the attention of Chris Sanders and when he was told the cost of each shirt, his solution was to inform us that he would no longer do business with us. One Cleaners is self insured and as a result will choose not to stand behind the damages they inflict on garments entrusted to their care. read more

This place is a rip off big time, they charged me $37 for 2 button down shirts & a pair of pants. Don't take your clothes there, down the street there are a few dry cleaners with reasonable prices. I would give zero stars if I could. read more

Care about your clothes? This is pretty much your only option within the GNO area. Attention to detail is amazing...they even do minor repairs on your clothes before you get them back. One Cleaners is a little pricier than some of the others but they're the only ones who actually clean your clothes properly so they're worth every penny. I wish there was a NOLA location as well but they offer complimentary pick up and drop off to your home or office which I haven't tried yet but think is kind of amazing... read more

Recently moving for an apartment complex to a house made me wonder if I would still receive the twice a week pickup and delivery of my clothes. Sending a driver to a complex with many customers is very different from sending a driver to one house and one customer. Especially that I don't always have something to clean on pick up days. No problem. The same professional, prompt, and excellent cleaning services are being provided at my new home. read more

This place charges outrages prices for dry cleaning. 1 inexpensive small dress, 1 pair of shorts, 1 ladies blouse for dry cleaning and 2 laundered shirts - 53.00!! I was shocked! Classic Cleaners right down W. Esplanade does great work and a lot cheaper. This was a one time use bc it was convenient to where I was at the moment. From now on, I'll go 3/4 of mile down W. Esplanade to a cheaper priced but just as good dry cleaning company. read more

I called yesterday to inquire about what it would cost to clean several aprons used at a local art studio. I ended up speaking with Chris, the owner. He was incredibly personable and very understanding. He gave me a wonderful deal! I brought them in the afternoon and they were ready first thing the next morning - folded and fresh just for me! I dropped 9 pieces clothes I needed back for a wedding the following week. I told clerk I will be back to pick up MYSELF in 5 days. My 5 days is today so I called clerk EARLY & asked do you have my 9 pieces of clothes ready because I live a distance away. She said yes she had 9 pieces. So I drove there & there was only 5 pieces cos the truck driver took the other 4 to deliver to my house on his route. So I went home & waited patiently. About 4 PM I called & asked when will my badly needed clothes arrive to my house & I was told the driver stopped running his route due to rain! I needed those clothes for tonight & I did everything humanly possible to have them in time: I told them keep clothes at store, I told them I was coming, I double checked they had ALL my clothes before I drove there; now they aren't bringing them to me til 7 days from now (if at all)? Their "hold music" kept repeating to trust them with your wedding dress but I suggest maybe that is not a good idea. read more

This cleaner needs 10 stars!! The things they can do with any fabric is unbelievable!!! Wedding Dress TLC! Chris, the owner, gave us special care. He picked up, steamed and delivered my daughter's gown to us! Terrific service every step of the way! The wedding gown store recommended One Cleaners as the place to go for an expensive gown. We had it cleaned and put in a cotton bag. After several years, I noticed that the front of the dress had stains on it which had not been there immediately after it was cleaned. The stains appear to have wicked up to the surface of the lace. I talked to Erica and she was very helpful although I realize that she did not have to stand behind the cleaning of a dress several years before. The stains are now gone and the dress is boxed away thanks to One Cleaners. They went above and beyond in helping me with this dress. read more

This cleaners always does the best job!! They were able to remove dirt stains from my white dress that I thought would be impossible to get out! My review is from when I first picked up my clinic coat. The second time I went to pick up my clinic coat they lost it and delievered it to another customer. I had to drive the next day to pick up my coat and it still had ink stains on it and I had specifically requested for those to be removed. They were apologetic and didn't charge me for that dry clean but when I got home I realized the ink stains had not been removed. I went just this past Friday to pick up my clinic coat and they couldn't find it again...it was NOT in the system. They spent 20 minutes looking for it again. When they found it it was soaking wet and wrinkled. I can understand making a mistake once, but two times is a bit ridiculous. On top of it, if I drop off my ONE item of dry cleaning and arrive to pick it up ONE WEEK later it should be ready. I have to make another trip back to pick it up and I won't be dropping off my dry cleaning anymore. read more

They claim to be a full-service, Cadillac establishment and charge up the wazoo for it. Instead, they took two months to clean my leather jacket and didn't even bother to call me when it finally came in. They decided not to clean a dress because they were afraid the colors would bleed. Well that's why I took it to the dry cleaner, because they're supposed to take care of stuff like that. I've had this dress dry cleaned multiple times without incident. No one bothered to inform me that the dress wasn't cleaned. I just happened to notice the notation on the bill. Never going back. read more

For one, it was completely over-priced. Secondly, I only went to this particular cleaners, because an out-of-town friend had gone once while visiting and received a $15 coupon for his next purchase. Since he didn't live in the area, he gave it to me. I gave them the coupon when I brought in my items without a word mentioned whether the coupon would be valid. When I came to pick up my clothes, it was then that they advised me that I could not use the coupon, because it was not made out specifically to me. I understand their reasoning, but had I known that from the beginning, I would have sought elsewhere, as my items were not "emergency" cleanings. Although the staff is friendly, that doesn't negate the over-priced services and my unpleasant (and expensive) experience. I will not use them again, coupon or no coupon. read more

It was my first and last visit to One cleaners. I brought four evening suits to dry clean on June 9th(Tuesday) and was told they would be ready for pick up on Saturday the 13th of June. On Monday the 15th I show up to pick up my garments only to find out they were not ready, because they had removed the buttons to clean them and they still had not replaced them. I told them I would come back on Tuesday, and the cashier told me the outfits would be ready. I go back on Tuesday and the the young man informs me that two of the suits are ready but two are not because the buttons have yet to be replaced. After expressing my discontent and the fact that I was leaving town they started searching (because they could not find the suits)Finally they were found . I was charged $105.23 for the cleaning( they gave me a $6.00 discount because of the mess up. It would have been $111.00). When I got home and started to pack I was stunned. They did replace the buttons , but on the wrong suits. I immediately called them back. After telling them about the buttons, the reply from the clerk was Oh no! I let her know my feelings on being charged premium dollar for very poor service. Nothing else was said by either of us. I wont be back. read more

NEVER EVER AGAIN! As a new resident to area and new costomer to the dry cleaner, I brought 2 prom dresses and one formal gown to be dry cleaned. Unfortunately, they did not inform me of the exhorbinant charges for cleaning formal gowns. I had to pay close to $200 to retrieve these dresses that will probably never be worn again. The counter clerks should have informed a new customer of their minimum charges and that they charge more if a designer label is noted. Since I didn't even own two of the dresses I had to pay, but will NEVER return to this establishment again. I didn't want to buy the dresses, I just wanted to have them cleaned! read more

For years I have been searching for the perfect dry cleaner and One is it. Yes their services cost more than usual but they are worth it. The clothes come back not only clean and perfectly presented, but they actually appear to be brand new. It is amazing. If you want your clothing to last for years and to never again have the anxiety of wondering whether a dry cleaner will ruin a garment, this is the place. The staff is also friendly, professional, and attentive. read more

I was interested in One Cleaners for numerous services related to my upcoming wedding. When I asked if there were any possible discounts that might be given if vintage veil restoration, bridal gown, mother of the bride AND maid of honor alterations were all done at their location I was given the run around and after three separate calls I was finally told that they did not offer discounts. Despite this disappointing news I still intended to give them my business. However, when I returned the price they'd initially quoted me had increased by an unexplained $100. It seems that the pricing system for alterations is arbitrary - at the time of my initial quote I inquired about time limits or constraints and I followed up 3 weeks later well within the time I was told. I am disappointed and frustrated with this business and though it seems that my maid of honor and I may have dodged a bullet I'm sorry that they have already gotten our business for the restoration of my mother's veil and her mother of the bride dress. (on second thought I will save this review until AFTER I've retrieved those items since this establishment has already proved they cannot be trusted). *Edited to add that the veil came out great AFTER we sent it back once due to weird off colored thread being uses and a rip that hadn't been repaired. Despite the great final product my conclusion is that this establishment falls FAR short of what I expect for "couture" service. read more

Remarkable! Have been going to them for years because of the way they care about their customers' clothing. Went by the other day and they fixed a pair of jeans in a few minutes! Their alterations team is flawless and always deliver perfect results. read more

I first heard about this place at a boutique sale at the landmark hotel. I am not usually one that uses dry cleaners. I have two nice comforters that needed a proper cleaning and neither are machine washable. One cleaners was a memorable name when I Googled dry cleaners. An added plus was that it opens at 7 am. I go into work for 8 am so being able to drop stuff off before work was a huge plus. Greg, the manager, was very personable and made sure that my comforters were delivered to my front door two days later. He even sent me a text once they were dropped off so that I could run home on my lunch break and bring them inside. The pick up and deliver that is provided is wonderful and will ensure our continued patronage. I am beyond pleased. The comforters have never looked better and the delivery saved me a lot of time. Great service. Great job. I would definitely recommend this as the best dry cleaner in the new orleans area. read more
