After searching on Yelp for the most aesthetic laundromat in New Orleans, Holy Sheets came up as #1...and once I saw the photos, I already knew this was the one. The floors alone sold me! I also had an oversized blanket to wash, so I figured I could kill two birds with one stone. When I arrived, I sat and waited for my photographer, then went to ask a staff member a question about starting my wash. That's when she let me know photos weren't allowed, but she offered to check with the owner. A few minutes later, he arrived (I hate that I can't remember his name), greeted customers, and then came over to speak with me. I explained it was for my birthday shoot, and he kindly let me know it was a busy time and he didn't want to make other customers uncomfortable, but he offered to schedule another time for us to come back. Very respectful and professional. Of course, with a scheduled shoot, we couldn't really pivot like that, so I thanked him and started making other plans. BUT then...he came back and said we could go ahead and take pictures, just to be mindful of customers and stay on one side. That meant so much! Even though people naturally started moving into that area (lol), we made it work, and he was super accommodating the entire time. I really appreciated that level of kindness and flexibility. Now let's talk about the space, this laundromat is BEAUTIFUL, if laundromats can be beautiful lol. Clean, bright, and very well-maintained. The floors? Stunning. The machines were all in working order, plenty of baskets available, and I love that they offer full-service wash and fold options too. What stood out the most was the customer service. He greeted people as they came in, listened attentively to customers, and created a welcoming environment. Overall, such a great experience. Thank you for being a part of making my birthday special!

The place is not huge and it was pretty busy when I went. Luckily there were still a couple of washers available that I was able to finish laundry. They don't accept credit card, but they do have coin machine. In case you forget to bring detergent (like I did), they also have vending machine for that. Not a fancy or beautifully decorated laundromat by any means, but it has all the essentials (including a bathroom) with operating hours outside the normal weekday 9-5. The store rep was also helpful....the last time I was in a laundromat was over 20 years ago! If my washer or dryer decides to break again, I know where to go mext time. I was stopping by after work and the place was almost empty he was very sweet and he offered me a bag of chips and after chatting a bit he told me his family bought this place back after years of it having different owners. The machines are well kept not as expensive as other places nearby and he bragged about some new dryers they bought overall if I need to wash again I'll definitely come here.

With that being said, this place is clean;, I didn't see a lot of machine with "broken" signs on them so I guess they get them repaired rather quickly. I only used the dryers that are Maytag. My clothes were dried in no time. I'm giving 4 stars because on my first visit the young girl and old woman were as unfriendly as a mad snake. Today, the young lady was pleasant and some of the dryers could use a Clorox wipe down. Their AC works good too so you're not hot with all the equipment.

That's the kind of neighborhood kindness you don't forget. The place itself is always clean, and the vibe is laid back and friendly. Folks here tend to look out for each other--like letting someone use the leftover minutes on a washer or dryer instead of wasting them. The machines work great if you use them the way they're meant to--just remember to give your loose articles an extra spin to make sure everything's fully dry. All in all, it feels like a real community laundromat where people are nice if you're nice. Can't ask for more than that.
