There are four vending machines available for use. If you forget to bring your own laundry detergent, there is a vending machine. A bill-to-bill machine to break large bills into smaller ones. Also, a machine to create a laundry member card for washing/ drying machines. The soda machine was refreshing. A large TV was great to keep people entertained while waiting for their laundry to finish. Staff were friendly and helpful to all patrons. I was able to wash all my clothing without any problems. I used my own debit card to pay for all the machines used. Some people brought their dirty laundry to the rear to be washed, folded, or hung up. I encourage you to look at my photos.

After searching on Yelp for the most aesthetic laundromat in New Orleans, Holy Sheets came up as #1...and once I saw the photos, I already knew this was the one. The floors alone sold me! I also had an oversized blanket to wash, so I figured I could kill two birds with one stone. When I arrived, I sat and waited for my photographer, then went to ask a staff member a question about starting my wash. That's when she let me know photos weren't allowed, but she offered to check with the owner. A few minutes later, he arrived (I hate that I can't remember his name), greeted customers, and then came over to speak with me. I explained it was for my birthday shoot, and he kindly let me know it was a busy time and he didn't want to make other customers uncomfortable, but he offered to schedule another time for us to come back. Very respectful and professional. Of course, with a scheduled shoot, we couldn't really pivot like that, so I thanked him and started making other plans. BUT then...he came back and said we could go ahead and take pictures, just to be mindful of customers and stay on one side. That meant so much! Even though people naturally started moving into that area (lol), we made it work, and he was super accommodating the entire time. I really appreciated that level of kindness and flexibility. Now let's talk about the space, this laundromat is BEAUTIFUL, if laundromats can be beautiful lol. Clean, bright, and very well-maintained. The floors? Stunning. The machines were all in working order, plenty of baskets available, and I love that they offer full-service wash and fold options too. What stood out the most was the customer service. He greeted people as they came in, listened attentively to customers, and created a welcoming environment. Overall, such a great experience. Thank you for being a part of making my birthday special!

All monies must be rendered on a laundromat transaction card, but there's a $1 processing fee for each time you purchase a new card. It's best to have close to exact change, because the machine does not offer change, so whatever you put into the machine is going on the card. I was able to wash and dry 3 loads of clothes for less than $10!! If you forget detergent or washing supplies, there's a machine to dispense it, where all detergents costs just $0.89 for all single use items, ie. Oxyclean, detergent, bleach, Shout, etc, so that's a win! They also have a vending machine for snacks and drinks, and most items are just $0.50, another win!! But the vending machines only take cash. There's free wifi, and a couple of tvs playing. You have access to about 4 folding tables, and less than half a dozen baskets to transport your clothing and maybe 8 chairs. You can either use the single load washers for $1.89, or larger washers, where you can do maybe 3 loads of laundry and throw in some heavy duty items. The dryers are $.43/8 minutes.

That's the kind of neighborhood kindness you don't forget. The place itself is always clean, and the vibe is laid back and friendly. Folks here tend to look out for each other--like letting someone use the leftover minutes on a washer or dryer instead of wasting them. The machines work great if you use them the way they're meant to--just remember to give your loose articles an extra spin to make sure everything's fully dry. All in all, it feels like a real community laundromat where people are nice if you're nice. Can't ask for more than that.

Pros: 1. Clean and well lit 2. Seemingly reasonable prices (several different-sized washers, price dependent, and $1.50 dryer) 3. Clean restrooms 4. Lots of chair/table space to spread out 5. Connected to Green Olives so you can get delicious food while you're cleaning up your laundry. Cons: -- Not 24 hours? I don't know that it actually matters, it works well for me, and I'll happily go back while avoiding paying for a technician. I can't really speak much in comparison to other laundromats since I don't have the wide range of experience, but for what it is, I'm a fan!
