Always good courteous service. In my jacket was cleaned well as usual. A long standing reliable business.

I'll never choose another dry cleaner. Always great service. Fastest turnaround time in the city

Lovely people and very satisfied. Always ready when they say and well protected for the ride home.

Do not visit this place . I dropped off 2 jackets and 2 shirts for cleaning. Not only did they not remove the few makeup marks , they lost one of my shirts. The immigrant staff are very rude and defensive. I'll never visit this place again . read more

I'm looking for a permanent quality cleaners in Hammond. Royal Cleaners was suggested to me. Long story short. I walked in at 11:00 and I seen one lady in the establishment. I was the only patron. There was know greeting at all, and after I looked around for a minute, still No Service. I'll never spend my money anywhere where they do not greet and/or help you ASAP. My rating is a 1, and that's only because I can't give them a ZERO(0). read more

I don't have much experience with dry cleaners here in the Greater New Orleans metro area. This dry cleaners seem to be comparable to the ones I used in other cities I have lived. In the neutral ground of West Esplanade at Severn, the parking lot is small, but I am guessing it is enough for them. I had a queen size comforter of my sisters to get cleaned, so I brought it by. Just over $30, they cleaned it well, folded it nicely, and put it in a zipped up bag. Very nice. I am sure if I ever have anything else needing dry cleaning, I will be back. read more

I would get it 0 star if I can. Horrible customer service. First of all, my son went in the fitting room to change the pant that needed to alternate while I was waiting, there were a Spanish lady asked my phone number. And I said I was waiting for my son and we just needed an estimate for alternating. Then she was ok and helped other customers. When my son came out and I told her what needed to alternate. The guy (big fat old Spanish guy) asked phone number again. I was like why they kept asking about my phone number when I just wanted an alternation estimate. After I asked why they needed my phone number, and the guy got mad and told me to go somewhere else because I caused too much trouble?? Wow!! Seriously? There are so many telephone spam messages and calls, so I really protect my personal information. It is very horrible experience and really rude customer service I even had. I did went there before for some dry clean. I am wondering they changed the ownership. Never go there. Unless you like to pay to get rude customer service. PS: my son just told me there were more than 10 needles on the floor inside the fitting room and one even sitting up close by the door. Oh my goodness... read more

I brought my clothes there several time. Spent a great deal of money there because I had more than a few pieces each time. In the beginning I had Leigh Ann whoa was friendly as my clothes were done well. Then it was a young man who started checking me in and I'm assuming doing my clothes. He starched what wasn't suppose to be starched and didn't put starch in the ones that was requested to be starched. The owner checked me out, I pointed out the errors, and he didn't seem bothered , he also told me they didn't do starch because it clogs the machines. It all boiled down to unsatisfactory work with the young man and the lack of customer satisfaction with the owner. They should keep Leigh Ann in the front as much as possible. "MO" read more

Needed two buttons replaced. Neither where done. Asked for light starch or everything. My khakis could stand themselves up. The sleeves of my satin shirt were wrinkled near the cuff on each sleeve. The staff was courteous, but they half-assed my items. read more

I have been their customer for a while. I was very happy with their work until I had my wedding dress clean and box there. They said they would box my dress if I was okay to box. First time I came by they missed a few spots on my dress, I told them to reclean it. Second time I stopped by to see my dress, and they already boxed it without my okay. Third trip they told me to bring the box home to check my wedding dress through the window on the box and bring the box back if I don't like them. I decided to open the box to check at the store to save myself a trip back. I could only see the chest area of the wedding dress through the window on the box. They told me No when I asked them to open the box. How could I know if my dress was okay or not and I paid so much for the service. read more

Never again... will I step foot in this rip off place. The lady with the blonde hair originally told me that she would charge me $15 In order to replace a simple zipper on a skirt. I get there and there is someone else ( a younger guy with pierce nose, tattoos) and he charges me $25 and came up with some bullshit excuse that my zipper was a " special kind" of zipper. I am just sick of this poor inconsistent customer service. When you quote a price, mean it. For the damn price that they charged me, I could have just gone and bought a new skirt. read more

I've used Royal Cleaners of years and was quite happy with their service. However, quite recently, they've gone thru some changes in leadership either new owners or management and not for the better. I'd taken one single item, a slip on, thin, jacket to be cleaned of a few stains on the front of it and they charged me $16 and some change, which I thought was pretty high, considering that I've had the same garment cleaned there in the past for much less. Nonetheless, I left it with them to clean and when I got it back, it had the same spots on it. The lady behind the counter started arguing with me saying that we cleaned it and would not refund my money but if I wanted to have them redo the cleaning, I would have to sign a document saying that they weren't going to be responsible for any future damage that could be caused. I refused and asked to speak with the owner/manager and was advised to come back the following day and speak with Greg. The next day, I called before going in, and I explained my complaint to Greg and Greg asked if I would meet him halfway on the total refund price, as a courtesy, to keep me as a customer? I agreed but when I arrived at the location, Greg proceeded to ask me why am I asking for a refund; that he personally cleaned my jacket himself and that he should be paid fully for the work that he'd done. I explained to him that I was not satisfied with his work and I was getting the jacket back looking the same as when I dropped it off. I asked if ownership had changed and he said, that had nothing to do with it. I told him that I did not feel confident with leaving my garment there for a redo, so Greg pulled $6.00 out of the register and laid it on the counter. I reminded him that on the phone, he agreed to refund half the cost. Greg said "that's all that I'm giving you" and to not bring it back to his store in the future to have it cleaned. I told him that I would do one better, and not bring any of my garments back there to have them cleaned and Greg arrogantly said "yes, find someplace else to do your cleaning". I left thinking, my money is good and spends anywhere I go, and I choose to spend it with people who value me and my business. This place will be going down hill quickly with quality of work and attitudes like that from staff and management. So disappointing, I used to really like this place. read more

You can't get better than Royal Cleaners. Big City quality and service in a suburban shop. Excellent, friendly customer service and the highest quality cleaning of all fabrics. I have a collection of Hermès ties that require special care if I manage an occasional spot. The manufacturer recommends a cleaner located in Manhattan and costing $40+. After describing the special nature of the ties, they come back in perfect condition at regular pricing. Never pressed flat! read more

Over the course of a year I have gone to royal cleaners to have my shirts for work cleaned. In that time I was pleased with the care and cleaning of shirts and various other articles of clothing I have taken there. The downside and the reason I am writing this poor review is the customer service. While the majority of workers are very polite and have treated me fairly one individual has given me an unwelcome feeling while using their service. 1st occasion was my fault. I showed up several minutes after the store closed on a Saturday which is 4 o'clock instead of the other five days a week which is 6 o'clock. While the remarks spoken to me were unwelcoming I decided this was my fault for not being punctual. 2nd occasion was just the other day. I asked a simply question if it was possible my work shirts could be ready the following day. The remarks again where given to me with an element of disdain. So I simply left it to said individual's discretion whether they could be finished in the time frame. 3rd occasion my shirts finished in a short time frame neatly situated as should be but again I pulled out my credit card and was told we had been through this multiple times that credit cards where not taken for service under ten dollars. This I vaguely remember but since I have been going there and never required to pay cash from any of the other workers this caveat simply slipped my mind. While they did not inconvenience me on this occasion to get cash just like in the past I would rather be treated kindly and told we can not receive said payments via card for this price. The money I have spent there has been menial but I believe this unwelcoming treatment is unnecessary with the hard earned dollars I spend at this place of business. I hope the owner finds this review constructive in how not to treat your customer if they find this. With the best of luck I wish this establishment future success. read more

Great service! Fast and reliable. Will be my goto cleaners for now on! Very friendly and honest staff also!

Easy to get in. Plenty of parking. Fast service with alterations. I also wanted the 10% discount, which requires writing a review on yelp. Every time I've used these cleaners for alterations or cleaning, everything turned out as expected and in a very timely manner. read more

I go to Royal cleaners weekly. They do a great job laundering all my dress shirts and for the price, you can't beat it. They do a great jog on dry cleaning my suits and shirts as well. Compare to any other quality cleaners around them, they are by FAR the best for the price. They have a very nice owner as well. They are very accommodating. Everything is done RIGHT and my clothes are always done VERY quickly. TOP notch cleaners, no doubt. I've used all of them in Metairie. read more

Royal Cleaners does a great job, always faster than I need and my shirts are perfect every time. I drop two weeks worth at a time and they come back clean and pressed, what more could I want? I shopped a few other cleaners as I was looking for a long-term relationship and was impressed with the male individual I talked to on a Saturday morning. I think he is the Owner. With regards to the language barrier, Monday and Wednesday early evenings are often staffed with individuals who I assume to be the Owner's grandparents who's command of English is acceptable for receiving and dispensing laundry. I do not attempt a nuanced conversation with them. The cash register speaks English, it does not appear to be voice activated in English but it will announce your charge and say thank you when you pay! read more

I've only been here once, but won't go back. I picked up an expensive suit-dress today, which is now unwearable because the bottom hem was removed. I got about three different stories as to why this happened (Probably more like 5, but I'm not sure because English was not the first language...). For example, "Some customers put tape on their hem and when we clean it we have to remove the tape...". Uh, I did NOT tape my hemline. "If the hem was coming apart already, we may remove it." Which contradicted what they said in the first place which was something like "We would NEVER TOUCH the hem unless the customer asked us to." This was a new dress I've worn maybe 5 times, and there was nothing wrong with the hem prior to me dropping it off. Of course, they didn't offer any remedy. Now I'll have to take the dress elsewhere to a tailor to be fixed. That'll fit right into my 80 hour workweek... read more

Traveled to Nola for work and of course TSA couldn't make the trip more interesting by soiling my entire luggage and clothes from negligence. But Royal cleaners saved the day! I was somewhat hysterical and they were calm as can be! I simply got a wash and fold on my work clothes, gym clothes and undergarments. It took about a day to fit me in which was fine. They charge by the pound on wash n fold. I think mine was roughly 12lbs and it cost me about $26. The service was good which was a plus! read more

I used Royal Cleaners before Hurricane Katrina and I was glad to see them open back up. I have a silk gown that had BROWN ALCOHOL STAINS from 3 YEARS AGO and they were able to remove it. I was very impressed. I recently got my wedding dress (which had lots of beading on it) cleaned and boxed and they did a fabulous job. I bring all of my husbands work attire there and he loves their work. Our items are always ready when promised, which is usually 1-2 business days max. I would definitely recommend Royal Cleaners. read more

I switched to Royal Cleaners several years ago because I was never pleased with how my husband's dress shirts were ironed. Royal does an excellent job and I have never seen a wrinkle, crease or any problem with my husband's shirts. They are done beautifully. The main reason why I am providing this review is because of how wonderfully they worked with us for my daughter's junior bridesmaid's dress. We noticed a large stain on the front of the dress after getting it back from the seamstress. I immediately took the dress to Royal Cleaners because I knew that they only use organic materials and I was concerned that harsh chemicals may cause a color change in the area of the stain. The stain was a circle, about 14 inches in diameter as well as another smaller spot. The wedding was in less than a week and the owner assured me that he would be able to get the spot out. He called me the next day to tell me that he would need another day or two work on it. He said he was confident that he would be able to remove it completely. I was nervous because the wedding was just a few days away and we would be leaving the following day to go to a hotel in the French Quarter. He said "No worries. I will be happy to deliver the dress myself to your hotel once it is finished." I couldn't believe he offered to do that! However, he didn't have to deliver it because he called me the next morning to tell me the dress was finished. I stopped on the way to the hotel and he showed me the dress. There was absolutely no trace of a stain anywhere! The dress was absolutely perfect. He did not even charge me for the extra work over several days, only the regular dry cleaning fee. I wish I could give Royal Cleaners more than five stars because they certainly went above and beyond what anyone would ever expect. In addition, they were able to save us from having a very upset Junior bridesmaid on the day of the wedding. In fact my sister, my husband and I were the only ones who knew about the situation. No one else ever knew about it until a week after the wedding. Of course after the wedding, I took my daughter's bridal gown to them to have it Heirloomed, and once again, they did a fantastic job. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND ROYAL CLEANERS. read more

0 STARS! This is the WORST dry cleaning experience I have ever had in my life. They took it upon themselves to sew up my wedding dress by the bustle in order to clean it, which left the dress looking horrible. Then they used a process that RUINED THE WHOLE DRESS. After doing all of this WITHOUT MY CONSENT, they then made me pay in order to take the dress. With NO REMORSE and crying bride I had to pay for a RUINED WEDDING DRESS. I tried to speak to the man and he could barely speak English nor did he understand me. They take your clothes, have no respect for them and do as they please. I would have NEVER had a seamstress at dry cleaners sew a dress that was a one of a kind expensive wedding gown. I would think they would have at least called me before stitching up a wedding gown, considering this is not just any article of clothing. Then used a process that RUINED the whole dress because they do not know what they are doing. After bringing it to another dry cleaner, they were appalled and said they should have known they were going to ruin the dress. But they DONT CARE, they just want a $. I would NEVER recommend this dry cleaners to ANYONE. UNPROFESSIONAL and have NO CLUE what they are doing. read more

DO NOT go to this place! Service was horrible! They did not clean my garment after multiple attempts they say. Yet I have tried them before and though service was bad they did an ok job. This time I requested money back that's how bad of a job they did. One of the employees even raised her voice resulting in a short shouting match that resulted in me leaving after paying them for a crappy job! I repeat, DO NOT waste your time and money! If I could rate them less than 1 star I would. read more

I signed up with Yelp just to review this place. Their customer service is terrible. I brought in 4 pieces and only 1 had been seemingly touched. The other 3 still had stains. One dress had a very obvious food stain on the front, that was the reason I brought the dress to the dry cleaners. I pointed it out and they took in the back and got the stain out. It wasn't pressed or anything, I don't think they even attempted to clean it until I pointed it out when I picked up the pieces. Another dress came back with all of the same drink stains that I came in with, so they cleaned it again. Nothing came out. The son is nice and I believe he worked on the one piece that had been actually cleaned. The couple was rude and would not refund me for the one dress of the three that still had stains. I explained that I would need to bring it elsewhere to be cleaned and would like a refund. I explained that I had already paid to bring the other clothes elsewhere. They said that they do not give refunds. They are not clued in to customer service at all. I suspect they don't even clean or look at the clothes either. Don't bring your clothes here! read more
