After searching on Yelp for the most aesthetic laundromat in New Orleans, Holy Sheets came up as #1...and once I saw the photos, I already knew this was the one. The floors alone sold me! I also had an oversized blanket to wash, so I figured I could kill two birds with one stone. When I arrived, I sat and waited for my photographer, then went to ask a staff member a question about starting my wash. That's when she let me know photos weren't allowed, but she offered to check with the owner. A few minutes later, he arrived (I hate that I can't remember his name), greeted customers, and then came over to speak with me. I explained it was for my birthday shoot, and he kindly let me know it was a busy time and he didn't want to make other customers uncomfortable, but he offered to schedule another time for us to come back. Very respectful and professional. Of course, with a scheduled shoot, we couldn't really pivot like that, so I thanked him and started making other plans. BUT then...he came back and said we could go ahead and take pictures, just to be mindful of customers and stay on one side. That meant so much! Even though people naturally started moving into that area (lol), we made it work, and he was super accommodating the entire time. I really appreciated that level of kindness and flexibility. Now let's talk about the space, this laundromat is BEAUTIFUL, if laundromats can be beautiful lol. Clean, bright, and very well-maintained. The floors? Stunning. The machines were all in working order, plenty of baskets available, and I love that they offer full-service wash and fold options too. What stood out the most was the customer service. He greeted people as they came in, listened attentively to customers, and created a welcoming environment. Overall, such a great experience. Thank you for being a part of making my birthday special!

The attendants were helpful; other than a few dryer sheets on the floor, the facility was clean and I was glad to see a bathroom was available if needed. There is a TV on the wall and we all laughed at Steve Harvey on Family Feud. I was there about 3 hours. Smooth, drama free experience. Bulletpoints: -About 10 parking spaces in side lot -the parking lot is one way in (from Jefferson Highway) and exits out to Wilker Neal Ave -customers use a laundromat card for the washers and dryers -use cash (accepts Bill's 1,5,10,20,50 per the labels) to load their laundromat cards ($1 card fee) -cold wash is cheaper than warm/hot water washes -one attendant (older Black woman) was working on a laundry order and paused to assist customers with loading their laundromat cards -an older gentleman was taking care of the parking lot and bathroom -a second gentleman arrived later and entered the office -large dryer 6 min, $0.57; -medium dryer 8 min, $0.46 -there are benches along two of the walls

This Vietnamese women & husband are rude and absolutely do not know how to dry clean. The son is pleasant and that's as it. My final straw was a lost shirt that they tried to blame me then they found it in their "stained stack" with stains that their machines put on it! They knew it but refused to admit they lost it, covered it up & then tried to charge me for ruining my shirt. I told them after 20 yrs I would NEVER set foot in there again. Not bad, one complaint every other year. I mostly bring shirts in to get laundered and pressed and they come back clean and pressed. Haven't had any issues with their dry cleaning either. I'll keep using them.

There are four vending machines available for use. If you forget to bring your own laundry detergent, there is a vending machine. A bill-to-bill machine to break large bills into smaller ones. Also, a machine to create a laundry member card for washing/ drying machines. The soda machine was refreshing. A large TV was great to keep people entertained while waiting for their laundry to finish. Staff were friendly and helpful to all patrons. I was able to wash all my clothing without any problems. I used my own debit card to pay for all the machines used. Some people brought their dirty laundry to the rear to be washed, folded, or hung up. I encourage you to look at my photos.

The damage was repaired well but he forgot the suspender button for the trousers. I didn't check the trousers when I picked up the suit, which is my fault I suppose. But when I went back to get the button put on the trousers, he wanted to charge me again. He wouldn't come to any compromise which in my book is bad business. He has lost a customer and I won't go back there.
