One Hour Valet totally saved my procrastinating ass lol. I don't know why taking clothes to the cleaner is such a pain, but it is for me. I had a trip that was literally in 48 hours and realized my clothes weren't clean. I called this shop on a Tuesday and was told they could have my clothes ready for me the next day anytime after 2pm. Y'all... I took my clothes at 5:30pm that day and they were ready. Beautifully cleaned and they even got the stain out of one of my super nice silk shirts. Everything was super well priced and I loved the amazing customer service here. I will be using their services from now on! Unfortunately, my first experience with One Hour Valley Cleaning Service was very disappointing. I brought approximately 15 pieces of clothing to be cleaned and pressed for a new job, with specific instructions regarding creases and pressing. Unfortunately, when I picked up my clothes, many of the shirts and blazers were still noticeably wrinkled, and my pants had creases despite my request for them to be crease-free. The owner acknowledged that some of the shirts were too wrinkled and offered a discount, which I appreciated. However, I later discovered additional wrinkled shirts and a blazer that had been improperly hemmed, leaving part of the garment unfinished. This prevented me from wearing the blazer when I had originally planned to wear it to work. When I attempted to address the issue, I was unable to reach the manager, and my interaction with the owner was frustrating. I was essentially told that these types of mistakes happen and that I would have to leave the blazer for another week while it was sent to another location. I appreciate that a discount was ultimately provided, but the overall experience was inconvenient and disappointing. For a first-time customer paying a significant amount for professional cleaning and pressing, I expected much greater attention to detail and customer service. They don't have a "one hour" option, however, they had my suit ready the next day and it was only $10 for a jacket and pants. The staff was nice and took care of me quickly on each visit. Even though this dry cleaner is only two blocks from my home, I will never return. I was a loyal customer for years - dropping off and picking up my dry cleaning each Saturday. At first, a broken button here and there isn't a big deal, and they would fix it as a courtesy (even though they're the ones who broke it). But, they kept breaking buttons and then started charging me a fee to replace them. The final straw was when they tore the sleeve on an expensive dress shirt, tried to charge me to repair it, and refused to even deduct the cleaning fee for a shirt that they destroyed. My only displeasure is there parking situation which is made horrendous due to Boh Brothers' construction on Napoleon. In case you were wondering "One Hour Valet is just our business name!" - the girl at the front desk after arguing with me that she won't do next day pick up after telling me at my last visit that I could do next day if I missed the 11am drop off time. It may just be me, but a business name should reflect the services you offer your clientele (but apparently not this one. It's just a hoax to get you in the door.). I've been a customer for months since moving to the area and have always been told that I could pick up on Friday if I dropped off early in the week or if I dropped off late in the week, I'd have to wait until the middle of the following week. Last time I was there, I was charged at drop off and then when I picked up I was charged more because she charged me incorrectly at drop off, plus she charged me the credit card fee for less than $10 - even though she charged me incorrectly. They also don't have a price sheet for customers to see which proves to me that I'm actually being charged the correct amount per item and not just what they feel like charging me. It seems like every time I'm there it's something new. Lastly, they only do same day services on Wednesday and Friday, all other days the machine is off. If you drop off before 11am, you can pick up after 2pm, but they never offer one hour services (which I've always embraced). I've dropped off at 8am when they open and was still told I couldn't pick up until 2pm - not "one hour" or "valet." Sorry, but this business needs a wake up call!! DON'T GO HERE! read more

Note that the one-hour option is *not* available every day - despite the name of the business. Call in advance to confirm it's available on the day you'd like. Also, the price is still the same if you have to wait 1+ day to pick up your clothes. Paying more for faster service makes sense - paying more for regular-speed service does not. read more
