So I settled for the shawarma wrap and then settled into a seat at one of the outdoor tables, ate, reading, watched the passers by, etc. I had a fine leisurely time. Just as I was getting up, a kind young woman came out as I was gathering my things. She handed me one of those little things upon which baklava is served. In this little piece of paper was a dollop of creamy delicious hummus and a freshly cooked piece of falafel. It was truly a San Francisco moment and a reflection of the lovely customer service that pervades this modest little restaurant. I went back there several times during my few days in SF.
