But Astudillo Designs had a different vibe than everyone else I talked to -- they were kind, offered a quick turnaround time, and gave a very fair quote -- and I decided to go with them. I was really stunned when I got the chairs back -- I wasn't expecting much for these lowly specimens, but now they look like a million bucks: the pair match precisely, the fabric patterns are centered and aligned perfectly, and all of the seams are crisp and clean. A really great experience in an opaque world. Thank you, Astudillo Designs!

Most importantly, the finished product is stunning--gorgeously detailed work, maintaining all the beautiful lines while adding comfort. They consistently got back to my queries immediately and picked up and delivered the chair they upholstered for me promptly, in fact, they had my chair ready and delivered it earlier than expected! The price was fair and certainly more reasonable than the other quotes I received, in addition to being paired with more courtesy and service orientation. Shirley S.

Not only were Jack and Patricio extremely helpful in sending me initial quotes and pictures of fabric samples, I was delighted that they are a local business right in my neighborhood - meaning I was able to go to their workshop the next day and look at fabric that they had available. (They have a huge range of beautiful fabrics that they can order, but given my rush, I decided that I wanted to go with what they had, especially since I had very simple needs in this case.) After I took my swatches and made my choice a few hours later, they came to pick up the chairs the same day and got them done beautifully and elegantly, well ahead of the deadline that I had requested. I am so happy with my chairs, which refresh the look of my entire kitchen/dining area. And I will definitely be working with HC Reup Design again soon, as I have another project coming up! I highly recommend them, and am also very happy to support a local business.
