His workmanship is highly professional, and he took the time to make all of the adjustments I requested with great care and attention to detail. What impressed me most was his kindness and willingness to fit me into his busy schedule. Not only was the quality of his work outstanding, but his pricing was also much more reasonable than I expected. It's rare to find someone who combines expertise, professionalism, fair pricing, and exceptional customer service. I recommend Sash without hesitation and will gladly return for future jewelry repairs and adjustments.

I don't normally write negative reviews, but this business definitely needs one, and people need to…read morebe aware. I am a native New Yorker and can spot a PROFESSIONAL CON ARTIST when I see one. SASH is one of them. He's nice on the outside, but he's good at fooling new customers. I gave him the benefit of the doubt based on his reviews and trusted him. NEVER ignore your gut. He is indeed a SCAMMER that has been fooling people for decades. You'll realize that after the great conversation he has with you. They will try to remove this review but I was a real customer. Believe the other reviewers telling you the same. I brought in several pieces of jewelry for repair along with tipping Sash, expecting professional, long-lasting work based on the reviews. Unfortunately, within approximately two months, ALL OF MY JEWLERY BROKE/FELL APART. I was SO disappointed because the purpose of having jewelry repaired is to ensure that it is fixed properly and lasts. The quality of the workmanship is EXTREMELY POOR. He then proceeds to blame his poor workmanship on your jewlery (similar to what others said here). That was NOT the case. My pieces are all genuine and well-made. I've had pieces repaired decades ago that have never split open like this. In my opinion, Sash came across as VERY misleading. He talks and distracts you with conversation. He spoke about family and friends, who seem to be the ones receiving the highest level of care (and the ones writing the good reviews), while new customers receive poor service. He also intentionally adds on additional charges without confirming with the customer, that was fine with me, but at least provide the service you charged for. I am posting this review so that other customers can make an informed decision before spending their money here. If you are looking for reliable jewelry repairs, I would recommend considering the other jewelry repair businesses on the same floor. I went to another guy and he did a fantastic job. I regret spending so much money and hope this review helps other potential customers avoid a similar experience.

Benjamin, who does his personal work under the name New Majestic Lapidary, was able to remedy that issue right away, polishing the wand to the once again finely pointed tip. If you have a priceless family heirloom or a piece of fine jewelry that requires absolute perfection, J Patch Designs by Karen is the only place in New York City you should trust. I brought in my late father's century-old, solid gold Masonic ring to be resized up to fit my finger. Because the ring features an incredibly delicate, heat-sensitive vintage black onyx stone, a standard jeweler's torch could have easily cracked it. Cliff looked over the piece and immediately guaranteed he would execute a specialized, high-tech precision laser weld. Not only did he resize the thick band flawlessly with an invisible seam, but he also performed an absolutely razor-sharp, custom one-line laser engraving inside the shank to commemorate my own Master Mason milestone (MM 5-2-81). The mirror-polish finish he delivered brought the historic gold back to its full, brilliant glory without losing any of its vintage character. To top off an already perfect experience, the customer service was warm, honest, and completely professional. Cliff even walked me through the care process and provided a complimentary bottle of liquid jewelry cleaner. As a high-volume content creator reviewer with over 16 + million views , I inspect businesses with a very strict eye--and J Patch Designs easily earns the highest recommendation possible. Thank you, Cliff and Karen, for treating my family's history with such immense respect! You made my day!!! Once again thank you!! I normally don't give 5 Stars.
