Paul showed up and was extremely friendly and helpful. He didn't hesitate to grab my rake and fix some things I didn't even know I was doing wrong. He sprayed the whole thing quickly and with a great attitude. He gave me tons of info and a nicely written instruction sheet. I followed the instructions perfectly the next few weeks and the grass was growing like crazy! VERY thick, green, nice grass. There were a few spots that needed some touchup. Many of the staff who worked with my previous company are now associated with Above All. Luke came out on a Thursday to evaluate what needed to be done and help me prioritize the jobs. He submitted an estimate on Friday and the crew of 4 arrived the following Monday. They were on time and worked steadily until the jobs were complete and everything was cleaned up. Brandon (the crew chief) did a walk-through with me and we talked about what I could plan to do next. This was a huge job because nothing had been done for about 3 years. The price was very reasonable. The staff was very well informed and seemed to have as much empathy for my trees as I do. Seattle Pros is the real deal, staffed by actual human beings who know what they're doing and sincerely care about honorably doing the job right. After emailing dozens of contractors and having SEVEN site visits to get bids to satisfy our insurance company's requirements of leveling a sunken walkway and replacing an open stair rail, Maury at Seattle Pros was LITERALLY the only person who wondered why the walkway sank and performed a general inspection of how things were draining to insure the walkway wouldn't sink again. Maury also pointed out potential future problems with our retaining wall that a layperson would not have noticed...and that none of the other contractors did, either. I can't emphasize how spectacularly rare and awesome Maury is - not even the ultra premium "luxury" contractor (who bid three times as much Seattle Pros) noticed any of the issues Maury pointed out to me. Maury was totally transparent about what his company could and couldn't do, and how urgent several of the other issues were, and what I should watch out for. And of course, the project itself went smoothly. The work crew kept me updated on what was going on, cleaned up every day, were respectful of the space, and did great work.
