Requested quotes through Yelp and he was one of the first companies to respond…read more Rene is very knowledgeable and knows doors even through pictures. He recommended some other options for me to look at doors that may be a little bit more affordable and I did. So thankful for that piece of information. He picked up my doors for me within the three day grace period of where I bought them from and was out in the same week to install . Confirming time and date with him was a little stressful because his day fluctuates with what he's got going on so I was a little nervous that it wasn't going to happen right away . But he is a man of his word and called me on Friday morning to let me know that I was going to to have my doors installed in the morning . His crew was so professional, nice very clean tidy worked efficiently He charges $475 per door, which is a little expensive, but I believe it was worth it.

On top of that, he could start very soon without waiting for weeks/months! Albert is very reliable/prompt/trustworthy/not pushy. It took him and his team to finish up everything in 3 days. Albert will be helping us with our kitchen appliances installation tomorrow.

David Morvant a.k.a. Handy Dandy Dave initially quoted my job at $4k but it quickly ballooned to…read morealmost $7k in the first 3 weeks once he started working. He does not manage multiple tasks well, shows up at 11:30 and works until 2:30 with multiple extended smoke and bathroom breaks, leaves the house a complete mess not respecting that we are still living here, leaving tools on kitchen counters, no plastic sheeting etc. We now have oil based paint splatters on counters and floors with additional stains on every carpeted area he walked through. He asked for an advance of last payment so he could pay his mortgage and then work went downhill. He had to hire another contractor to finish some of the drywall work (he wasn't competent) I already paid him to do, which he then tried to charge me extra for. He asked for more money for materials but when he sent receipts it had bulk items not for my jobs. When I called him out on it he ghosted me and now we are 6 weeks into a 3 week job that is still not complete and he has taken off. He over promised and did not deliver. DO NOT let this guy in your house!!!

But I will upgrade it overall to 4 stars. I doubt if any other company would paint my big house by hand, and the repairs of the facia was in line with five stars. Plus, he did do extra, fixing my inside garage panel, throwing it in for free, bought some new soffit that someone else can install. For example, a company came and changed out the back porch soffit for free, replacing it with what he left in my garage. Overall, this company is a fine company, and any mishaps, such as with the soffit, should not have happened. But my home Inspector, Lone Star, which is outstanding, said that the repairs of the fascia were fine. I also appreciate the owner and his men for working so hard in the hot sun.

We had our first floor completely replaced with large-sized porcelain slabs (which are difficult to work with), our wood stairs and 2nd floors completely re-stained, all the carpet in the house replaced, our kitchen repainted, and our study converted to a formal living area. I am extremely picky and hard to please but was very satisfied with the quality and price of the work. Further, Floors TX completed the job on a very tight schedule. Mike is a man who stands by his work and stands by his word. He was always available on-site when needed even though we live fairly far from his store/office, and he made sure the job was done properly and perfectly. He and his crews all have a keen eye for detail and are knowledgeable in their respective crafts. And on a personal level, Mike is just overall very friendly, kind, and easy to work with. I will not hesitate to hire FloorTX for future projects and recommend them to others!!
