Very nice hotel! Love the bar and breakfast. The rooms are very comfortable. We had a great view of the canal behind the hotel. Their workout room is well equipped with just about any exercise or workout you want to do. However, go past the pool and take a stroll outside along the canal. Major props to the valet service. Those folks job it hard and a super friendly group.

I recently stayed at the Omni Las Colinas for five days on a business trip and decided to extend my stay to visit friends. The experience was outstanding. Check-in was seamless, and the gym was a highlight for me. The location is also incredibly convenient. While there was a conference that made elevator wait times longer, it just shows how popular the hotel is. I want to give a special shout-out to Jamie, who I spoke with several times at the bar. He not only recommended the buffalo wings, which have an amazing crispy texture and delicious sauce, but also provided exceptional service. I enjoyed those wings three times during my stay. I could have tried many restaurants in Dallas, but these wings were simply the best. Anthony also deserves recognition for his fantastic customer service. Even during busy nights at the packed bar, he made me feel like I was the only guest there. It's clear that the Omni Las Colinas has hired a great team, and that level of service will definitely keep guests coming back. I highly recommend this hotel if you're in the area.

The Omni was a nice place to stay. When we first pulled up we chose to valet which was fine but they didn't come to our vehicle as well as we needed a cart for all of items for our stay. My boyfriend also recently had surgery so we had some medical items that needed to be brought in as well. They just stood there and avoided eye contact until I walked over to them and asked for a cart and their response was oh we are really busy right now there isn't one. I said well we are going to valet our vehicle and we can't move til we get one. At this point my boyfriend had come around on his mobility scooter and then they finally got that we needed help because I couldn't carry everything myself. One of them went and found us a cart which was very kind of him and asked if I would bring it back down when we were done of which I said of course. My boyfriend checked us in and said the front desk was very friendly. Also from an accessibility standpoint there is a ramp to get to the front door but it is off to the side a ways and it has some odd sharp turns which made it not user friendly for my boyfriends mobility scooter. The room was beautiful and we loved the layout. The fridge does not keep things cold just keeps them cool. The bathroom was very nice and updated except for the toilet. It was extremely low to the ground. It reminded me of a children's toilet it was so low. The views were incredible of the lake and the Dallas skyline and we spent a lot of time just catching the views. We stayed 2 nights and when we went to check out I went and got a cart (there were lots of them at this point) and the front desk asked if I needed help. It was the first time in 2 days I had been asked if I needed help which was very kind of him. I told him I was good and took the cart up and loaded it and then took it down outside to load up the truck. The valet were all standing there as my truck had already been pulled around so I asked if they could help me with the cart because when we checked in when valet finally helped me he actually pushed it up the stairs (they are very small). They stood there this time and told me to use the ramp. And turned their back towards me. I was frustrated and said "well when we checked in they brought it up the stairs I'm sorry." At this point my boyfriend had made it out on his mobility scooter and then the valet jumped to help me navigate the cart down the terrible ramp. The valet then told me that they aren't allowed to use the stairs anymore because the wheels fall off. I just said ok. I was tired of trying to get consistency from them, as well as only getting help when my boyfriend showed up. They helped me load my truck and I helped my boyfriend get in the truck and we left. Overall, the hotel was beautiful. Accessibility was a bit rough. The toilets oddly low. And the service in my mind for the standard that Omni is usually was known for was less than I have experienced in other Omni hotels. Definitely stay here if you are looking for absolutely phenomenal views!

Nice hotel. Our room was beautiful. Great location along the lake. You have to go walk around it! Friendly staff. Only major con was they were having a lot of parties at night and were allowing the party goers to park in vallet parking and it was maxing the garage, so you either had to keep your vehicle there at night to keep your spot and uber or use your vehicle but wait in 2 hour parking until a spot became available... we also ate at the downstairs bar and restaurant. We got the burger and wagyu belly and the bone marrow appetizer. The burger was delicious and the fries were the best part!

A great hotel with beautiful rooms with many overlooking a lake. I had an amazing room with a living room area. It was quiet and I felt safe. The staff at the desks were great as were those in the restaurant. I am a frequent visitor for work so it's nice to feel a little like home. It's very pretty inside. As a frequent guest you get free beverage when you hit a certain number of visits. They have internet in the rooms but have to pay $4.95 per day for the higher speed. The food at the restaurant was excellent. We have a company function each month there and they never disappoint. Breakfast is too expensive (in my opinion). I paid $16 for coffee and oatmeal! The coffee shoppe however was less than impressive. The two times I went in the staff were rude. The lady in the morning was late getting started and turned many people away when she could have easily helped them with a quick purchase. As I sat in the lobby area I watched her put the pastries out with without gloves...wiping her hands on her pants a few times. Touching many high touch point area that hundreds touch each day and not wearing gloves or more importantly not using a utensil was disgusting. I will never purchase any food from there EVER.

Embassy Suites by Hilton Irving Las Colinas offered exactly that: a soft landing when we needed it most. Traveling as a group: my mother, my husband, our 12-year-old son, and myself can make spontaneity tricky. But the ease of securing a suite that could accommodate all of us felt like a small victory in the midst of an otherwise hectic day. From the moment we arrived, the tone shifted. The front desk agent greeted us with a warmth that felt genuine rather than scripted, and what could have been a routine check-in became something more thoughtful. One particularly welcome feature: the ability to choose our room. With her guidance, we landed on a space that felt tailored to our needs rather than assigned at random. The property itself struck a careful balance between polished and inviting. It was clean, well-maintained, and subtly festive an Easter-themed backdrop in the lobby offered families a chance to pause and capture the moment, a detail that felt both intentional and charming. Our suite delivered on every front. Spacious without feeling excessive, it featured a king bed alongside a pullout sofa perfect for our son plus a small kitchenette and dining table that quickly became his gaming station for the evening. It's these small, functional touches that make a short stay feel seamless. Later, I made my way downstairs for the evening reception. The bartender, navigating a steady crowd with admirable efficiency, kept things moving despite the rush. While the drink selection was modest, the atmosphere carried a convivial energy that made up for it guests unwinding, conversations flowing, the quiet hum of shared travel stories. I also found a pocket of calm in the lobby, where I was able to catch up on work another reminder that this is a hotel designed with real-life travelers in mind. We didn't have time to explore every amenity, but the overall impression was clear: refreshed, thoughtfully updated, and quietly dependable. In the end, it was exactly what we needed a comfortable, well-timed stay that turned a stressful detour into something unexpectedly pleasant.

However the bathroom sinks may just be an elaborate prank pulled on every guest of this hotel. There are many photos already on here, but the pictures don't do it justice. The sink is approximately 7" x 12", and has a mirror jutting out over a portion of it, leaving you with roughly 4-5" of functional sink space. This will be the smallest sink you've ever used in your life (and I've spent lots of time in NYC and Chicago, where I've used some very small sinks). Need to wash your hands? You're getting water on your feet. Shave? Better wear a bathing suit. Wash your face? A wetsuit is recommended. Accidentally turn the water on too high when doing any of the above? Commonly the HAVC is old and super noisy. The shower heads are usually clogged. Not here. The breakfast I actually enjoyed. Every day there is a new sandwich option. Decent quality. The shuttle drivers were really helpful, and it was easy to get to and from the airport. The room featured a small kitchen, which I didn't get to use, but I could see how this would be comfortable for a longer stay. There was also an on-site laundry that worked really well, although it was hard to find because there were no signs and it was inside the fitness center. I didn't use the pool or fitness center, but they looked well-maintained. The only real problem with this hotel was how thin the walls were. I needed to go to bed early (think 8pm), and I could clearly hear the people talking in the next room. It wasn't just a loud TV - they were just talking, not even shouting. It was so loud that I could hear them even over the air conditioner fan running and my white noise app on my phone at almost full volume. If all of that was turned off, it was almost as if they were in the room with me. I have never quite experienced a room with that little soundproofing. It was a bummer for a hotel that I got exclusively to sleep in. If I could do half stars, I'd probably do 3.5, but for everything else, I am rounding up. Also, the breakfast on weekends doesn't start until 7am, which feels a bit late for an airport hotel where people often have early flights, but they did offer coffee!

What I did not know was that the Illustrious Ladies of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated -- the ABSOLUTELY BEST sorority ever -- were also having ceremonies that night. Beautiful for them, chaotic for me. I pulled up expecting valet, only to be told valet was reserved exclusively for the AKAs that evening. Now listen... I respect it. If anybody's going to get special treatment, it's the ladies in pink and green. But for me? Whew. That meant I started driving... and driving... and driving. Forty minutes, y'all. FORTY. Between the restaurants, the event, and the already limited parking, it was a full scavenger hunt with no treasure. I finally tried the parking deck -- only to discover it ends abruptly at the top with no turnaround space. No warning signs, no heads-up, nothing. And because it's Girl Scout cookie season, I'm in our extended Escalade. Picture me at the top of this deck, realizing I have to reverse all the way back down. I could've cried. Actually, I did cry. My daughter is in the back asking if she's still going to the party, and I'm trying to be brave while my anxiety is sky-high. I went back to valet, desperate, and they basically said, "It's just a bad night for parking." At this point, I'm ready to cancel everything and go home. I called the front desk and spoke with a woman named Miccah (I hope I'm spelling that right). She was so calm and reassuring. She told me there were 12 underground parking spaces available, so I felt a little better. I drove down there... and there were only two spots left -- both for electric vehicles. And the elevator? Not working. Now I'm underground, no reception, no parking, no elevator, and a 9‑year‑old with me. I drove back up and called Miccah again like, "Girl, just cancel this. I can't do this. I've been circling this place for 40 minutes." And then -- the turning point. She said, "My manager is walking outside right now. He's going to move his car so you can have his parking space." When I tell you Alexander came outside and did EXACTLY that... that man was a blessing. He moved his own car so I could park safely and get my daughter to her sleepover. That is customer service times 1,000. When I checked in, I told him I felt like I was about to pass out. He said, "Ms. Page, don't pass out, don't pass out -- do you need a Coke?" And he actually brought me one. The kindness, the attentiveness, the humanity -- it meant everything after the ordeal I'd just been through. Because of Miccah and Alexander, what started as a nightmare turned into a stay I will never forget. Hilton, keep them. Celebrate them. Promote them. They are the reason I didn't break down in that parking lot. But Hilton... please fix that parking situation. It was truly ridiculous. And to the ladies of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated -- the absolutely BEST sorority ever -- congratulations on your ceremonies. Y'all looked beautiful, and I love that the hotel rolled out the pink-and-green carpet for you. I just wish the parking deck had rolled out a little grace for the rest of us too.
