Gym weights up to 50 lb dumbbells

We had an awesome experience at this hotel. The valet team was on top of it the entire weekend, especially Janae who did an excellent job. At check in, Jaden was also very friendly and helpful. As for the hotel, the gym was better than most as it had several good cardio machines, dumbbells up to 50 lbs, a good amount of space and even a punching bag too. The pool also was very high end too. Last, the hotel beds were very comfortable. We would stay here again!

I'm a Marriott girlie at heart and this location doesn't disappoint. Stay, rooms, amenities, bar and pool were all on point. **however, customer service from Darion was lacking, extremely disappointing and he needs immediate training on how to speak to customers. He had the most unwelcoming tone, acted irritated that we were checking in and it felt as if we were bothering him. You're a no for me, Darion.

I stayed at the Marriott uptown on a whim. I booked the room driving into town. The staff were very helpful and were able to get me into a room earlier than usual. The room was clean. The rooftop pool was lots of fun and not too hot. The bartender Tray was great too.

To start with, parking in the garage is $48 daily (after tax)!! Otherwise, you have to hunt for parking on the street. On the plus side, the room was clean and spacious with a modern and minimalist vibe. The TV remote was in a sealed plastic bag, which is something I have never seen before and hope to see more of. The hotel is gorgeous and has a nice view. Club M is spacious and my family and I had a great time lounging in there for a bit.

Beautiful inside! Lobby and bar area are chill and a good vibe. I had a water with lemon (detoxing) but my company really enjoyed their drinks from the bar. Waitress was super friendly. Nice outside firepit Edit: Her name is Jessica. Great job.

We went here for our anniversary and really enjoyed our stay. The room was very modern and clean. The beds were comfortable and they give you lots of soft pillows. I love soft pillows. We had a standard room which is not huge but the space is more than adequate and space is utilized efficiently. The bathroom is very attractive and clean. The shower is large with great water pressure. The staff was friendly and helpful. The only things I would note is that the entrance is tricky to find. We drove around the entire building before finding the entrance. You have to enter through the underground parking, give your car to valet (only option), and then take an elevator to the lobby. None of it is marked inside so we were lucky that someone was around to help. It's rather confusing if you don't know where to go. There is also a good deal of car racing in the streets but it stopped by 10:30pm or so. You would think that the hotels and businesses in the area would pool their influence and lobby Dallas Police to do something. Overall, however, we liked the hotel and experience very much. I can imagine us returning another time for a special occasion.

Why 4 stars? Because everything was nice and new but the thermostat didn't work. --- --- --- I was visiting the area to see a game at the new Texas Rangers stadium and was tempted to stay near the ballpark, but figured Dallas proper might be more ideal for other things to do and a quicker drive home to Houston the next morning. When I saw this brand new property, I decided to use one of my free nights I had saved up through my Bonvoy membership. As I touched on, everything on this entire property was sparklingly new. I'm not sure when it opened, but everything was so pristine, that if someone told me it had only been open for a week, I would have believed it. But one big gripe I have in any hotel, whether brand new or not, is the temperature control in the room. When I got settled in, I turned the fan on high and the temperature down, but nothing happened. I assumed it was going to kick in eventually, but it never did. I checked into my room late and left early the next morning, so I didn't have much time to call down and figure out why this was happening, but it was annoying as I was hot during the middle of the night. The next morning, the temperature was still set to what it was originally on when I walked in. It's so strange why this brand new thermostat was essentially just decoration. One other complaint that I actually just discovered while writing this review: I was billed $37.89 after the fact. It turns out, parking is $35 a night. That is incredibly excessive. This is Dallas, not Honolulu. While that late detail tempts me to downgrade to 3-stars, I will keep it where it's at because I would probably stay here again and look for alternative parking (and make sure my thermostat works before I go to bed).

Brand new and awesome! Love the modern design of this place, from the outside architecture to the room details. Airy, sleek, and clean. The backlit mirror and even on the bed frame made things look even nicer. Our room had tons of natural lighting with large pane windows. And the giant glass door showed were just dreamy after a run at Katy Trails, which is just a few minutes walk from the hotel! Really loved our room, as the bed and everything was so comfy and clean :) For convenience, there is a bar/restaurant as well as Starbucks in the lobby. The fitness center looks modern and all the equipment looks really clean and new (they provide towels and water there!). The pool is warmed with lots of lounging chairs, a fire pit by the sofas, and a little grassy area with a ping pong table. There are little QR code's to order food at the pool. The pool is actually long enough to do some actual swimming too! :D Some downsides: Valet option only. There is no daily room cleaning unless you specifically ask them (so we called for towels). But otherwise, this Uptown location was awesome, probably one of the best hotels I've stayed at!

No appetizers. Area blocked off with a table, despite the front desk telling us they were putting them out.

We paid extra for lounge access and were disappointed to find most of the lounge not set up. The coffee machine was not working, the wine bar not functioning and the appetizers we were promised were not there. Update: To the manager that replied to my review, thank you for the most generic attempt at an apology that did absolutely nothing to address the issue. I paid for the lounge that was not operating.

The room service food was actually really tasty. Everything I ordered, I thoroughly enjoyed. Sometimes room service can be pretty blah. I ordered breakfast (in the pics) and the Ragu and a Caesar Salad for supper (not pictured). Nothing was too salty, bland, or disappointing. I needed to request a few more hand towels during my stay. I called the front desk for them, and it was absolutely no problem for them to accomadate me. The black out drapes were great to have in the mornings to sleep in, and the regular drapes were lovely to have to let natural light in during the day - but still giving a sense of privacy. I LOVE that check-in is at 3pm and check-out is at noon. I loathe the usual 4pm/11am schedule. The bed was a little firm and my bathroom sink would sometimes make a funny noise. Parking is $35, which is a common complaint, but there's plenty of street parking around the area for free. All-in-all, I really enjoyed my stay here.

Situated in the middle of a lot of bars, restaurants, and offices. There is a nice bar in the lobby and a restaurant and cafe on site. The rooms were quiet and spacious. I was in room 704 which had a view of the pool and city. The bed was comfortable and they provide big soft pillows. There is a large shower and a coffee maker in the room but I didn't use it. The TV is wall mount and a really good size. The Wi-Fi was not great but hotel Wi-Fi usually isn't so that wasn't a surprise. We weren't able to find anywhere to park except for the valet so bring tip money for them. I would be happy to stay here again and I felt like it was clean and well maintained.

Came here for business trip. Stayed for 14 days…read more Coworkers recommended this location as it sits in Downtown Dallas. The hotel is nice, however outside the hotel it's not nice. There's lots of homeless people outside and not safe in my opinion. Just beware when booking. There wasn't many highly rated restaurants near Omni hotel, had to drive to places. They also host lots of events outside the hotel on their lawn. Hotel is nice. Staffs are super polite and trained. Everything is clean and super decorative. Hotel has restaurants on the first floor, they have small pool, small gym, and spa which you have to pay for. I stayed for two weeks and needed my clothes washed. The hotel does have a service where they send it out to get it washed. But it was insanely expensive. To wash a shirt was around $10. It would have cost me like $150-$200 for a week worth of clothes. I drove 20 min to the nearest coin laundry and spent couple dollars. Would love to see coin laundry in the hotel. Gym: The gym has dumbbells that only go up to 75lb. No barbells. The machine to do back, arms, etc were uncomfortable to use. Pool: Pool is on the same floor as the gym. Can see downtown Dallas. I think it's infinity pool(?) but it's pointing to the hotel building rather than facing downtown Dallas. Room: Room was super nice. The A/C is amazing, works very well. As soon as I got back to room, I set room to 62F. Then to 68F when i got cold. I stayed for 14 days and found out on my last day that there's a fridge hidden in the cabinet. I was super upset about that. The soaps, shampoo, etc are nice. The staff gives you new set even if you are using them and not empty. Price: My rate was $170 through business portal. So probably cheaper. For 14 days (13 nights), I paid little over $3000 due to various taxes and parking your rental car is like $30(?) a day. Really nice hotel, fast elevators, has gym/spa, near freeway and in Downtown Dallas. I just didn't like the environment as soon as you leave the hotel, feels unsafe.

We had breakfast in the hotel and our server was helpful, friendly and had a sense of humor. We visited the pool and were surprised that it was not heated. The hotel gym was decent, could use a better (newer) bench but it had the basics. Our room had everything we needed (the bed was quite soft) and a great view of the eye across the street. My first shower would only get warm and not hot so maintenance had to come up and show me a safely button to push which allows the water to get hot. This was after texting with hotel staff (a very helpful option) but surprising that they didn't just tell me about the button and chose to send maintenance. We were in room 852 on the North side of the hotel and overlooking the eye. We came back from dinner around 10 on Saturday night and were kept awake until about 1:30am. I guess Main St is where people choose to drive their cars with the music so loud it feels as though it's in your hotel room. The motorcycles and cars also like to rev their engines.... A LOT. The windows appear to be single pane and they don't keep any noise out at all. Due to the noise level, I would not recommend staying at this hotel.  Being on the 8th floor and feeling like I was in the cars that were driving on main st and blaring music 2 nights in a row was incredibly disappointing.  If this was a 2 star hotel, okay.  That is not the case.  Upgrade the windows to double or triple pane.  Your location is great, service was friendly and efficient, but one generally wants to sleep at night and that is not possible at your hotel. We even asked the front desk on our second morning if we should change rooms and were told Sunday nights were quiet. I should have listened to my gut as our Sunday night was not quiet. Although the amount of cars & motorcycles wasn't as much as on Saturday, we still heard several cars with music blaring or motorcycles reviving their engines until around 1am. This was the beginning of a long overdue vacation and birthday celebration and it did not get started on the right foot unfortunately.

If you want to commemorate Tina Turner, nothing beats it. Lorenzo Hotel, let's stay together. The creative, quirky, and poetic 237-room boutique is known for being an eclectic and vibrant art gallery with a different theme for each floor. Floor 1 is a mix-up with Shakespeare, Alice in Wonderland, Poe, and Einstein. Floor 3 is Literature & Journalism (if you like old printing presses this may be your type). Floor 4 is the Music Floor (vintage audio). Floor 5 is Mid-Century Modern (1960s Dallas history). Floor 6 is "Dali" or Surrealism Floor. Floor 8 is Botanical & Nature (floral pops of color). Floor 9 is Pop Art (bold and graphic). Floor 10 is Cinematic History (Hollywood glamour). Floor 11 is The Tina Turner Tribute. Floor 12: Skyline / Skye Ballroom event level with massive floor-to-ceiling windows. We stayed in Floor 7, which is "Literary Noir" (drama and mystery). We had a broken, blinking Neon sign, a wobbly ceiling fan, broken blinds, matchbooks full of phone numbers, an unfinished manuscript, an ashtray full of cigarettes, and a dead body in the tub. Not really. But we did have a giant seven foot "desk lamp", a paintbrush and frame above our bed, and and a carpet made from Hamlet quotes in Room 704. Dining: Hamilton's is the main on-site restaurant and bar, with a host or hostess in the lobby smiling at us when we walked in. Taco Enzo and Kolache Korner are in the refurbished shipping containers in the massive parking lot. The lobby store is small and not cheap but it beats a vending machine, especially if you want an ice cream sandwich or fingernail clippers. The "South Beach" pool is saltwater, so it's softer on the skin, eyes, and hair and avoids red eyes, green hair, and pool smell. Location: Though the Cedars district is the industrial historic heart of the Dallas arts scene, it's a bit gritty and has *freeway noise*, with gentrification friction, being a patchwork of high-end luxury lofts sitting right next to dilapidated industrial warehouses, making it feel half vibrant but half abandoned. The Walkability Score is 73, thanks to massive railroad tracks, the I-30, current construction, and inconsistent sidewalks. Be warned this isn't a tree-lined, window-shopping destination like Uptown or Bishop. Finding food, a drink, and even a movie will be much easier than groceries or a pharmacy (though drugs is a different story). Service: Everyone was awesome, especially Precious, who was, like her name Precious. That explains why they don't hire Dicks.

Its time for "Story-time with Adam Cole Baby" (don't sue me TK, I'm working class and can't afford the lawyers) The TLDR: This is a serviceable hotel with great front desk and that's about it. I wouldn't feel comfortable with any single female friends/family to stay there by themselves. The very first interaction I had in Dallas, the VERY FIRST was a *ahem* "lady of the night as I was getting out of my Lyft and approaching the front doors of the hotel. She walked directly in my path, looked me in the eye, and with no warning said: "For $50 you can do whatever you want to my asshole" Do you know how hard it is to make me speechless? I muttered and stuttered my way past the woman to check in. Homeless people and working girl are a REAL problem here. In my eight days there every time I left the hotel I ran into one group or the other, some times both. I check in, go to my room, do a quick inspection and in the shower I find.....black mold!!!! An easy enough fix I think, I go downstairs report it to the front desk, go off to the market for supplies, and come back. The front desk guy tells me that he's made a concoction of sorts that gets rid of mold and he's left it in my room for me to apply it in the shower. A VERY WTF moment!! Bro I don't work here, and don't know enough about this chemistry experiment you've cooked up. I go back downstairs and they finally give me a new room. I'm not much of a complainer and I have a clean new room so let's just sleep and see what the next day bring. I wake up and decide to hit the breakfast. I grab some undercooked bacon and potatoes, as I'm grabbing juice I notice the employees were closing everything down (five minutes early but I get it) the really weird/annoying thing was that they were turning the lights off on all the people still eating. It felt like last call at a seedy dive bar. Like I said, I understand wanting to go home but turning the lights out on your guests was a complete and utter FAIL. My last notch in the complain column is that the building itself could really use some attention. When it was raining the ceiling by the front door was flooding like a TLC song. The elevators never seemed clean either. So if I'm going all Final Justice on my review why did I give it a three star and not a one? All the positives come from the front desk agents. Jasmine was the best agent I've had the pleasure to deal with in almost a decade. She was warm, welcoming, and quick as a whip. Every day that I came downstairs she had a different suggestion on where I should go and what I should eat. Honestly if I was building a management team from the ground up, I would poach Jasmine in a heartbeat. So yes on the strength of one employee a hotel gained two stars. Otherwise I can't really recommend stay here until they make some major changes

There is a free hotel shuttle that will take you within 3 miles of the hotel--remember to give the driver a small cash tip. On this visit it seemed like the hotel elevators were in need of service. Although the hotel is known for their themed rooms, we prefer the non-themed ones. Last time we were in an Africa themed room and did not like it. This time we were in a non-themed room and it made our stay much better. The standard room was one of the top nicest and most beautiful rooms we have stayed at on a business trip. The room was spacious, well maintained, had high quality decor, and good aesthetics. We would definitely stay in this room again. There was also a private balcony with a sound/storm door. There was a good desk to work at. There is a business center down the hall, free coffee in the morning on each floor, and free snacks in the lobby in the evening. The hotel is near by several upscale restaurants and a strip mall. The strip mall has a gas station and across in another strip mall a Potbelly Sandwich shop, Smash burger, and an upscale possibly private steak house that took over for Morton's that closed. A little further at 2100 McKinney there is the 2100 Deli that is good for a cheap fast breakfast. The hotel has the Dragonfly restaurant off the lobby. It is more of an upscale sit down experience. We had breakfast here on our previous visit and it was nice. The hotel still seems to us more like a business stay place than a family vacation type stay. However, if on another business trip to the area, we would definitely stay here again.
