BBQ and Chicago Mild with Fries
    Brett N.

Why 4 stars? Because the wings were great, but this is as no-frills as it gets. --- --- --- I discovered OMG Wings on the Hot & New Restaurant section of Yelp somewhat recently and intended to make my way over to check it out for a while now. It's not the most convenient location for me, so I ended up taking my son with me after picking him up from school, which was somewhat on the way. It turns out, this is a pretty, let's say, no-frills spot. It shares a parking lot with a gas station with asphalt that could use a little attention. The inside is a much larger space than you'd expect when you count only four, four-top tables. Most of the space is just... well, nothing. There are plexiglass semi-walls up at the counter, which is pretty bizarre, considering this business opened about two years after we all found out that plexiglass was one of the leaders of Covid Theater. But to the important stuff: the food. The wings were excellent. A couple of them were a tad on the small side, but that's really my only complaint. They were crispy on the outside and full of flavor. I ordered 5 BBQ and 5 Chicago Mild, which were virtually identical to BBQ, but I was not too mad about that, because I loved both, despite being 98% similar. The fries were also nicely seasoned and enjoyable. OMG Wings is certainly the definition of no frills. The drinks are strictly in can form (no fountain machine), and condiments like ketchup come in those annoying, individual packets. Hopefully the restaurant has plans to upgrade on those fronts on the future, but the good news is that they are doing the most important thing right: the wings!

We have been coming to this place ever since it opened was driving to go to wing stop but.... Saw the sign "open "! I made a quick swerve to the parking lot it is In a gas station lot don't let it fool you the wings are better than other chain restaurants in the area .ranch is perfect they make It themselves black owned family restaurant very nice and courteous staff I come eat here like 2-3xs a week ambiance is good 2 big screen tvs about 5-6 tables for eating there but most people do take out so call ahead and order usually takes about 20mins for an order but it's worth the wait everything is well cooked flavorful hot and fresh I keep a picture of the menu on my phone lol Happy eating y'all!

A hidden gem right here in Conroe. We stopped in after seeing some great reviews on a FB page. Don't like the outside fool you this place is amazing. They have solid prices, offer flats only (for additional price), have multiple flavors and the best part.... their sauces are HOMEMADE! I got the Buffalo Ranch and it was perfect! To me most buffalo sauces are too salty but this was a home run! Those fries are thick and crunchy with a little seasoning on them. I can't wait to come back and try other sauces!

5 Stars!! Great for Takeout-Goooood Wings!! Okay so I know it's attached to a gas station but please give this wing shop a chance! I saw good reviews of OMG Wings on Facebook and had to try it myself. When I pulled up I didn't realize it was attached to a gas station and I'm not going to lie I almost drove off. I'm so glad I didn't.. Me and my guy ordered the OMG Fries and a 20 piece-half sweet heat and half buffalo. The total was around $41. Some may think it's pricey for wings but I'm okay with supporting local businesses and the quality was worth it. Now, the OMG Fries are to die for. This is perfect for one person because they will fill you up-perfect amount of chicken on there-it was delicious!! If you order them, you don't need to order wings unless you're sharing those fries. The wings-they didn't skimp out-you got perfectly good sized wings and the wing sauce was delicious. I don't so much recommend dining in-it isn't a wing restaurant like Buffalo Wild Wings-although they have a couple tables I think maybe this place is designed for take out. I also recommend you call in an order because of the wait although the wait was worth it.

O.M.G!! This place has great wings! We had the 10 piece split, 2 flavors: Mango Habanero & Hot. We also had the fried okra and cheese fries. First the wings: they were cooked to perfection and fully covered in flavorful sauce. No skimping. Both serving had the perfect amount of "kick" and the mango habanero was just enough sweet to compliment the spice. The okra was hot & crispy. The fries were hot and had plenty of cheese drizzled over them. Each serving was enough for 2 ppl to share. The place is family owned and next to a gas station Don't let that deter you! There is limited (4-5 tables) seating, sue to the size of the location. The service was friendly and it takes a few mins to get your order, because they are actually cooking it fresh when ordered. I will definitely be coming back to try a few other menu items.

OMG hot wings, Lemon Pepper dry wings, and cheese fries.

The wings were great. The OMG sauce was very hot but also had a good flavor as well. The lemon pepper wings were flavorful but not too much lemon. The cheese fries were cooked just right and the cheese sauce was not bad. Would definitely eat there again.

I loved it. Tasted like the sonic lemon cream slushie. I drank the whole thing and it was worth the money for sure. We shared a gyoza appetizer, and it was great. They were perfectly crispy on the bottom with soft texture on top. The sauce was a bit sweeter than a normal gyoza sauce, but it was pretty good, and one member of our party really liked it. I got the Tonkatsu ramen, and it was better quality than your average American ramen! The chashu was perfect with a slight crisp to it, the noodles were springy, and I enjoyed the addition of the bok choy. It was also the perfect amount of food. I'm actually sad this isn't in my local area. I had a great meal here and would highly recommend.

It does come with a sauce which helps, but I wish the chicken itself was also seasoned. As for entree I ordered the spare rib ramen. Again, the fried spare ribs lacked seasoning, but the fry was well done. The ramen was very light, almost too light in my opinion for a true ramen broth. The chili oil they have though is delicious and improved the taste of the soup a lot.

UPDATE - lowering this to one star because both my wife and I got sick last night on this stuff!…read more So I walked into the restaurant thinking I'm going to get som amazing Asian food....as I entered the heat of the inside hit me - it was easily 78 degrees. That should've been my first sign when I walked in. It was hotter inside than it was outside. I picked up the menu looked at it for a hot second and then thought well. I'll just order something. So naturally, I said pad Thai, standard Asian meal. Not at this place they didn't have it and she looked at me strange. So I proceeded to look at the menu and found some random dish that looked decent and ordered. Then I ordered drinks and she told us after we had paid the soda had no carbonation in the machine so we could get the drinks out of the fridge. So we went and got the drinks out of the fridge, sat down open them up they both were flat. I suspect if I had checked the dates they were both expired, but I didn't bother. So we sat down and literally one minute later, the food came out... Which tells me that all the food was likely premade, and this was just a buffet that was hidden in the back. I ate, and it was well.... Let's just say the Woodlands Mall Asian foods a bit better than this stuff. Anyhow, I did encourage the team who works here to turn the AC down a little bit, make sure the fridge doesn't have expired drinks/flat drinks, make the food like they serve it to their family. I'll report back shortly and let you know if there are any biological effects of this food... All that for $45 - two dishes, two flat drinks, two rice.

At some point, we lost count on the songs, as one blended into another and each sounded just like the one before it. Hey, it was Thursday and he was a local putting himself out there for us to listen to. It's nice to have live entertainment during dinner and the background music was just background enough. Our seats were near the bar at the high top tables that gave a commanding view of the stage and bar area. The place was crowded for a Thursday night, filled with regulars enjoying the food and ambiance this century old building exudes in spades. Much like the breakfast menu we enjoyed a few weeks ago, our meals were almost identical. We both enjoyed the Reuben sandwich for our dinner. I personally wished it had more kraut, but the corned beef was tender and flavorful. I had added the sweet potato fried and we shared the cheesy fries as an appetizer. Cheesy fries do not do it justice. They were coated with more than enough cheese, accented with chopped onions and other herbs that added flavor and texture. Our waitress was wonderful and explained anything we had a question about during our meal order. I had an amber beer with dinner that really accented the reuben nicely. All in all, the dinner service was as enjoyable as our venture in there for breakfast. The Red Brick Tavern has now become a place we will go to more often ... not only for the food, but for the ambiance. Ciao, Darrell

The $20 ribeye special (12 oz with a side) is a standout deal that's honestly hard to beat. We sat inside near the bar, and the atmosphere struck a great balance--casual, a little lively, but still comfortable enough to enjoy a conversation without feeling crowded or rushed. I order my steak well done, which can be tricky, but they handled it the right way. The first one came out slightly under, and our server Madi addressed it immediately with no hesitation. What really stood out was her approach--professional, attentive, and genuinely thoughtful. She even brought out a fresh serving of cilantro rice while I waited, which made a big difference. The second steak came out exactly right--flame-grilled, tender, and flavorful. The cilantro rice was fresh and well-seasoned, the fries were crispy, and the drinks were well balanced. We ended up staying after our meal just to relax, which says a lot about the overall experience. Great service, great value, and a place we'll definitely return to. I initially thought it was related to the Fielding's restaurants in the Woodlands area but it has no relation. It's basically a sports bar with a kitchen, but apparently a big kitchen because they have a good size menu of burgers, sandwiches, comfort food, seafood, Italian food, salads, apps, pricy desserts, egg rolls, mac and cheeses, wings, and a healthy list of draft beers. I came in for the burger since I had read it was formerly a tri-blend of my 3 fav combinations of beef on a burger: chuck, brisket and short rib. I'm not sure if they're still doing the blended beef because the patty didn't taste like any previously blended burgers I've had before. When I ordered the burger it came out to my table about 4 minutes later. Not sure how they can pull this off for a patty that's 1/2 lb. At home it takes me at least 8 minutes. I went with the Texan specialty burger. This burger wasn't that good and was one that tasted best upon first bite, then progressively got worse as you eat more of it. I didn't finish it and eventually peeled off a lot of ingredients and bun by the end. They have a nice atmosphere, but I would try another menu item next time. I will likely visit the location closer to my house in Spring next time.
