Mr.Puffs - Woohoo! Love a baker's dozen

I had never heard of it, but apparently they're an established chain. The store is large, bright and cheery. The smell hooks you immediately. It's basically a gourmet doughnut holes shop, with plenty of fancy coffees and cold beverages to accompany. I wanna say, think Tim's crossed with Starbucks, with the emphasis on the Puffs. The puffs are made to order, with so many flavours to choose from. You can purchase half dozen, dozen, and up, and mix the flavours for each half dozen. We bought a combo box of Oreo and Nutella. You can watch the staff preparing the dough in the kitchen, and while they add your toppings at the counter. Idk if they somehow learned about it being a birthday visit, or this is usual, but we got a baker's dozen. I'll take that puff instead of a cherry on top for sure, because they were delicious. They are on the sweet side. Our drinks were also on the sweet side but delicious. The coffee is freshly ground on order and everything tasted fresh. We both opted for coffee based cold drinks but they have slushees, fruity and I think some tea options. The coffee was nice and strong without tasting bitter. The seating was a little odd, cute little stools in line with the honeycomb decor as opposed to chairs. The space felt really open, like your conversation can be heard all around. It was clean and very spacious. The staff on our visit were great. I would definitely return if it were closer to me, and I will totally check out other locations.

This dessert restaurant is no joke, their menu is so massive it feels like it could rival the Cheesecake Factory's (no exaggeration). While most of it is dedicated to desserts, they do offer food options too, but let's be honest... you come here for the sugar rush. We tried a slice of their Red Velvet Cheesecake, and it was rich, smooth, and everything you want in a dessert. We also ordered a loaded waffle topped with brownies, chocolate chip cookies, ice cream, and whipped cream, basically a dessert lover's dream on a plate. Both desserts were fantastic and definitely lived up to the hype. The staff was friendly and helpful, and even with such a huge menu, they made great recommendations. If you're looking for a fun spot to satisfy your cravings, The D Spot delivers.

Not huge on desserts but this place is fantastic. My friend got me a strawberry milk cake to go,…read morewhich was on BOGO on one of the food apps. I enjoyed it a lot more than I expected to, simply because I'm not big on sweets. The cake is light and spongey and absorbs the leche/milk very nicely, and makes the entire cake very moist. Vastly different in texture to other cakes that rely more on cream and icing to balance the sponge cake. I found this cake lighter and a really unique flavour/texture. It's sweet with flavour that has depth (not just by using more sugar/syrup) and the hints of milk, strawberries, cream, etc all mesh really well. Glad to have stumbled across a new fave and I'll definitely be back to try the rest of their offerings.

I always say I was born in the wrong era, I wish I was born when diners and milkshakes and drive ins were the popular thing to do. Well turns out history repeats itself and I am here for it. Okay back to the milkshakes and ice cream, without further ado here is my review: She's Nuts Bubble Waffle - creamy thick vanilla ice cream topped off with Nutella, chocolate sauce, nuts and a ferrero rocher. It was all wrapped in a freshly made bubble waffle! I loooved this one because I swear there are no places in Mississauga where you can get bubble waffles and now that I found them, I'm always going back hehe Unbrûléevable (creme brûlée) Milkshake - the flavours were soooo sweet with a hint of that burnt caramel, topped off with a waffle biscuit and rimmed with little chocolate ball thingies this one looked and tasted delicious! Overall I loved both the ice cream and waffle and the milkshake, they have many more flavours to try! However the desserts aren't the only thing I appreciated it, the staff here were super sweet and from what I understand it's a women owned local business! Y'all know I'm all about empowering my queens! They opened not too long ago in August 2020, just about a year now and I wish them all the luck, they are already killing it with a second location in brampton! Thank you shake it and co for the amazing desserts, friendly service and hospitality! See you ladies soon, cheers. Check them out y'all!

Tik Tok brought my friend and I here on a rainy weekend!…read more This restaurant was adorable and great for Instagram photos! It is on the smaller side, so they usually ask customers to wait outside and they'll text you when your order is ready, so they can limit the number of people inside their store. There is an overhang so you can be sheltered from the weather if you did not come by car. The menu did not disappoint! The milkshakes were creamy, tasty and so aesthetically pleasing! The iced cream does melt quickly though so it may get messy, especially in the summer. Definitely worth it though! Parking is a breeze since the store shares the medium sized parking lot with the rest of the plaza. Transit from downtown Toronto can be quite the mission however, and you'll have to transfer from TTC to MiWay.

As expected there was no seating available due to Covid-19. The food quality from the hot table was moderate (hence the 3*'s). Had a salami calzone for lunch. We also bought a blueberry/strawberry scone/biscuit. I deducted a star cause the biscuit was virtually tasteless. Almost zero taste! Found that strange considering the cost was $3.50! I'd do over but just the gelato this time.

We got almond cookies, hazelnut cookies with chocolate, pecan butter tart, strawberry cheesecake, apple strudel. My son thought the strudel was sweet. He likes uncle tetsu cheesecakes which aren't too sweet. The almond cookies had too much vanilla in them. There was an aftertaste that wasn't the best The hazelnut had the same issue. The butter tarts were good. Sweet not overly runny. You could bite them and they didn't drip out but not a firm Filling either. My friend bought the chocolate pecan? Butter tart and it was quite good. The I thought the chocolate added to it. Was worried it would make it too sweet. The Apple strudel was pretty good. I always like pastry no filo please!!!! Anyways kinda reminded me of what you'd buy in a store. I think the filling is the kind that comes from a bucket. So I don't think I'd get again unless I was in a strudel mood. I do have a weakness for strudel. Saturday mornings at st Lawrence market has a better one if she is still there. I definitely need to go back to Try the food!!'
