Heard quite a bit about this franchise so I decided to give it a go and when I arrived and asked for attached gift card prmotion as I wanted to buy this gift card it had offer for a free mini milkshake the staff declined saying there is no such offer and this was valid for Christmas however the offer is still live on their website so I showed it to them but they didn't Wana honor it.This is sheer silly stuff as they made me scan the QR code to leave a good review but honest review warrants how you genuinely feel about the customer service.The customer service experience was horrible. The owner should train their staff and let them know if they are promoting and having deals online. I've been wanting to visit holy shakes for a while now since I've seen so much hype about it on the Instagram foodie community. The shakes looked amazing and drool worthy that i just had to pay them a visit. However, i was kind of disappointed. Shake: The shake itself was good. The presentation was very pretty and the taste was good. However, i don't think it was worth 15 dollars. I've had better milkshakes for a more affordable price. However, in terms of taste and presentation, i was pretty satisfied, i just do not think it's worth 15 dollars. You do get to keep the pretty glass, which i washed and kept so that's worth it. Wait time: What really hiked the score down was the wait time and the call you have to make 10 minute prior to picking up. I ordered online for a specific time slot which was around 30 minutes apart from my pick up time. They need the customer to call 10 minutes ahead to say they're 10 minutes away which i thought was kind of odd. I did because i thought it would make sense since they do have ice cream and cream on top and don't want it to melt. However, when i called, they said my shake would not be ready for another 20 minutes, which i said ok, I'll arrive a little later. When i arrived and asked for my order, they told me to wait outside. My shake was finally ready after another 20 minutes. Apart from me, there were another pair of customers but it did not seem busy at all. That's why i hiked the ranking down because i had to wait an extra 40 minutes for one milkshake. A random find but I'm so glad I stumbled upon Holy Shakes! I'm usually not a milkshake person because I find them too heavy but the shakes look too aesthetically pleasing to pass on. The guy at the counter during our first visit was very pleasant and helpful! We had so many questions and he tried his best to answer all of them and even make recommendations. I ordered the strawberry galore and my bf ordered the oreo cookies & cream milkshake. We both loooved it! We couldn't stop raving about our drinks on the way home. I really like that it comes in a sustainable glass bottle that you can keep (they provide lids for you to grab yourself!!), and if you return you get some $$ off too. I am so impressed with the quality of the shakes - it literally tastes as good as it looks! It is a MISSION to find an establishment that delivers every aspect of their service and product on such a high level of quality but Holy Shakes is IT. Holy Shakes makes the cutest milkshakes! I came across them after looking at a Toronto Blogger's Instagram page. I knew at that moment I had to try them. We went one night and the wait just for shakes was 35 minutes. We decided to come back the next day and I'm glad we did. It was fun and cool to get a shake from them. I will say you may want to call and place an order online if that is possible. They stay booked and always have a wait. You would think something as quick as a shake doesn't take long to make but they will have a wait. The Holy Shakes in inside a to-go Indian restaurant and they get tons of orders for their Indian Food. Moral of the story, you will wait. When I did go, we only had to wait 15 minutes. Also, be advised they are expensive. They are $16.5 each. I assume that includes tax. I paid $33 for 2 milkshakes. They are good but honestly not good enough to be paying $16.50. However, I didn't know the price until it was time to pay. Since we aren't from the area we got two different Shakes to share. We ordered the Red Velvet and Birthday Cake Milkshakes. I absolutely love Red Velvet anything so I was excited! The milkshake's appearances are amazing! They look very appetizing! The Red Velvet feel a little short for me. The cake pieces on top was a little dry. The shake itself was good but it didn't really taste what I think Red Velvet should taste like. It tasted more like ice cream and cake just mixed together. It had that grainy texture of cake. It basically was just vanilla ice cream mixed with red velvet cake. It didn't have that slight chocolate taste in my opinion. It wasn't horrible though. The Birthday Cake tasted like it was suppose to. I actually like this shake! It had a good texture and tasted like a milkshake. The quality is also good. Meaning they don't melt fast in the heat. What a great find in Burlington!! We decided to come here because we had a sweet tooth craving and weren't disappointed! We ordered the new Exotic KitKat Blend in the Brownie Caramel flavor and it was ABSOLUTELY delicious!! The blend had small bits of kitkat which really enhanced the taste and flavor. We also ordered the Bombay Chilli Frankie roll and it was cooked fresh, was spicy and the fries were delicious. What is not mentioned anywhere is that Holy Shakes is actually a mere counter in an Indian street snack joint. When you first walk in very confusing given the strong curries aroma and what appears to be also some Indian grocery. I've seen the shakes from Holy Shakes on social media. I've read about them and they look amazing, so a few of us decided to give it a try. I preordered the shakes, which is a feature I enjoy very much anywhere it's available. When I arrive, it isn't very clear as to where to line up, for preordered drinks. It's not until I see a couple go in and say that they preordered that we realized that I just had to walk in and give in our order info. So I go in, and see 3 shakes sitting on the counter. They look like they've been sitting there for a little bit. And they're uncovered and within customer reach. Regardless of the mandatory masks, food shouldn't be sitting out or accessible to anybody, for numerous reasons, to avoid the mistake of someone taking the wrong drink, or someone else's drink and for health and sanitary purposes. Of course they were my drinks. We had ordered ahead for 7:30 and I arrived about 5 min before pickup time. The drinks had started to separate, that's how long they had been sitting there. We ordered a Freakshake (strawberry shortcake), Heavenly Choco (snickers) and a Nutella Rock star milkshake. They tasted horrible. It doesn't help the fact that the milkshakes had been sitting there for a while either. I left and when I got home, was told that there was a slice of cake missing from the milkshake. I thought that maybe it was put in the pictures for emphasis on flavour or that it was for a special order that the cakes were placed, why I didn't mention the missing slice. So I email them the day after about the missing slice of cake and they never got back to me. To be spending about $40 on shakes is one thing. But there's a level of expectation that should be met. There was a line to get in with a maximum of two people at a time (covid rules, am I right?) There are no menus available so get your QR code scanner ready with over 100 different milkshakes to choose from. The staff were very friendly and provided tasty recos from their most ordered list. I ordered a ferrero Rocher cake milkshake and my fiancé ordered something Oreo . The wait was quite long, it took 30 minutes so I suggest ordering ahead via phone or their website. The wait was well worth it! My milkshake was super delicious and it came in a cute glass jar that you can keep. My only recommendation is that if you have other plans and don't want to smell like the tasty treat of butter chicken, you bring a change of clothes.
