You are less likely to be robbed in Oakland wearing one, because all the news reports say the criminals target people with Rolex watches on. Yet Omega in a lot of ways is better. While Rolex and Omega are both Swiss-made. To me they are more innovative, less expensive, and more precise according to studies. That being said, my experience shopping at the Omega Boutique was good. I worked with the assistant manager Andre who was very knowledgeable about the different watches available. He even provided his phone number if I had any further questions after leaving the store which I did. While for some, dropping 10k to 50k is no big deal, unfortunately I don't fit in this category. I will do all my research, talking both in person, YouTube videos, as well as talk to people who have been collecting watches for many years before I purchase a watch. I fell in love with their Globemaster Annual Calendar, white/silver dial with light brown strap. Fiona was my first contact. She was very attentive and made a thorough presentation. Andre also did a good job of assisting. The advantage of buying from a Boutique is you're getting something genuine, fresh out of the box. Beware the fake Omegas out there. Fiona also comped me a couple extra shorter straps for my smaller wrist. They are expensive. I also got a nice red Omega shopping bag and baseball cap. read more

THIS IS NOT A REVIEW ON OMEGA WATCHES, BUT RATHER ON MY EXPERIENCE WITH OMEGA BOUTIQUE - SAN FRANCISCO. Recently added a beautiful Seamaster Aqua Terra 150m Co-Axial GMT Worldtimer Watch to my collection. For my wife's birthday we thought of getting her a Constellation Sedina 29mm Omega watch, such that we have matching watch makers. Since one can only buy a new Omega watch from an OMEGA Boutique or an OMEGA authorized retailer, we drove to this store. My experience at this "high-end" watch store was utterly disappointing. The store's doors were locked, and a very young doorman was standing behind the glass door. He would not open the door and told us to come back in 30 minutes. The reason for that was that they do not accept more than one customer at a time. All of this was shouted at us through a closed door. We came about 30 minutes later. Same young man was standing behind glass door. He completely dismissed our return. All or attempts to catch his attention were dismissed and he acted as if he did not even see us. You know that attitude when you address someone and there is zero reaction, and the person is looking right through you with a smirk on the face. This staff member exuded an air of entitlement, treating customers as mere inconveniences rather than valued patrons. His lack of customer service was glaring, with dismissive attitudes and a refusal to assist with even basic inquiries. Arrogance dripped from his demeanor, making it clear that he believed himself above the need to provide genuine assistance. In an industry built on luxury and exclusivity, this store failed miserably to deliver even the most basic standards of hospitality and professionalism. Save yourself the frustration and seek out a more deserving establishment for your horological needs. And that's exactly what we did. We walked a block and bought a beautiful, brand-new watch from the Cartier store. I intend to share my experience with Omega directly as well. read more

The customer service here is pretty mediocre given the price of the merchandise. Whether it's just because they don't care or they're profiling people walking through the door, it doesn't matter. They're cold and unhelpful. They're busy on the weekend, but they told me even if I made an appointment with someone, there was no guarantee that person would be available at my appointment time. Not sure that's any way to run a business or maintain loyal customers. read more

Staff ignores you: Day #1: Try and walk in 30 minutes before closing and doorman states all associates may be busy before they close. We agree and decide to show up tomorrow afternoon. Day #2: Show up the next day at 3pm and all associates are busy. Decide to wait it out for 20 minutes in the boutique. As soon as one is available another party of walk-ins show up, announce they did not have an appointment and proceed to being helped, even after stating we had been waiting before them. Horrible customer service and by far the worst Omega store I have been in. Was asked by three associates what we needed and what we were looking for and were told that "everyone was busy". Avoid at all costs, they will waste your time. read more

Good customer service. Happily accommodated me when I wanted to buy several bracelets/bands for my seamasters/moonwatch even though I never bought a watch from them yet. I also received their catalog but couldn't get a free loupe thrown in with my bracelets. When you call in and confirm their inventory make sure you get the name of who you are talking to, when you go in the boutique not every employee will want to sell you the bracelet on the spot. read more

Needed a NATO strap for my Diver 300 Coaxial Master Chronometer 42MM 007 Edition. My wife surprised me paid for a NATO strap at an Omega authorized retailer (Sharif's) in Sacramento County for my birthday in early Oct 2021. She was told the strap was on backorder and they would call her when it came in so she could pick it up. Fast forward to Jan 25, 2022, when I received a text from Kevin Grundy introducing himself and advising me of the new Omega Boutique in San Francisco and offering to assist with any timepiece question. I inquired about the availability of the NATO strap and he advised while he didn't have any on order, he expected to have a supply in the next 30 days. On 22 Feb 2022, Kevin advised me the NATO straps arrived. We handled the transaction over the phone and he arranged to ship the item via UPS 2nd day Air at no additional cost to me. The item arrived at my home less than 24 hours after paying for it. Kevin has won my loyalty for his awesome service and follow up. I would highly recommend you contact him for any of your time piece needs, Omega or not. BTW, 4 months after paying for the NATO strap at the Sac County Retailer, still no strap and when we canceled the order today, they require we drive to Folsom and provide the credit card used to cancel and refund the order. read more

My review is not about Omega or it's watches, coz I am an ardent fan but is about my experience with a salesperson on Feb 12th at this store. 1. The salesman didn't know that the watch I was looking for was at the shop window in a different band color- not very aware, if I may say. 2. Profiling!!! How many times we have tried to stop this, but sigh, some people never learn!! The salesman wanted to know if I have worn luxury watches before. Mind you, not Omega before, but ANY EXPENSIVE WATCH before. I nodded "yes", and then he asked me to name the ones I own. Yup, let that sink in before I continue!! That evening I was wearing a Kelly watch (just a fun watch, I admit), and maybe that's why he wanted to know what I am worth, whether I can afford an omega or not. Not if I am knowledgeable about their brand, but wanted to check if I practically have the money to buy an omega watch or not. Now It's a funny thing that my husband was wearing the Bond (omega) watch that day and immediately covered it up because of that awkward question. That is when we decided immediately that we will not buy anything from there that evening. The sad thing was I had half a mind of getting myself an Omega watch that day as a Valentine's Day gift but decided not to give him the pleasure of a sale, and that's why we politely took off. This place has to train their salespeople better if they want to live up to their brand image. I feel sorry because this is most certainly bad for business. If I want an omega I will order it online or go elsewhere to buy it but will not walk in here knowing that there is always someone measuring my value everytime I come in. It is heartbreaking to see that salespeople nowadays do not want to see a potential buyer in anyone who walks inside their store, do not want to be proud of the brand that they are selling, do not want to generate an interest about the brand amongst people by imparting knowledge and enthusiasm about the products but straightaway head on to weighing the bank balance of their customers. Walked in intending to ask a basic question about service on the DSOM I was wearing...which was hidden underneath my hoodie...and also ask about pricing on the new Ultra Deep. I guess the employees didn't like the look of how I was dressed or my beard, because they treated me like an annoyance and not a valued customer. I ended up walking out and didn't even give them the opportunity to sell me anything. I'll just buy from my out of state dealer and avoid $1,000 in tax and also get an easy 15-25% off MSRP depending on the model. Get over yourselves, fellas. I've been an admirer of Omega timepieces since my first Planet Ocean from over a decade ago. So it was great to discover their boutique in the heart of SF Union Square and went for a visit. I was greeted by Andre who was professional, easy to work with and above all just a super nice person. He allowed me to try on several pieces I was interested in and he has great knowledge about the brand. I ended up getting one of the timepieces and I couldn't be happier! I was let down by Manager Allison. She didn't keep her promise and now I'm stuck with a bracelet I don't like. I ordered a bracelet overseas , I was misguided by omega staff on sizing so I ordered the wrong size and since my mom didn't get back to the states in time for return , I called and explained that flight back to USA is a month after purchase, Allison assured me that due to my situation it's ok , she'd let me exchange for same bracelet . My mom went to make exchange and Allison completely changed her statement and said you can only buy what's in store right now , since my Mom couldn't get a hold of me , she said if you leave store now I can't exchange anymore so my Mom was forced to get bracelet without checking with me .Had I known I had to choose from what is in store I would have let my mom know what were my alternate choices. It's not right to make a promise to a customer and then not keep your promise. I will never shop at this store again. read more

I walked into this new boutique last month just to browse and came out with the gold planet ocean co-axial. The staff was incredibly helpful and made me feel very comfortable throughout the process. Both Andre and Alison did a fantastic job of presenting the Omega brand without being too pushy. I honestly was not expecting to purchase a new watch but was amazed by the band's history during the presentation and the beauty of the dials.
