Me at the storefront with my purchase

I profoundly enjoyed my first-ever visit to this boutique on January 5, 2025! Hitomi is courteous and knowledgable about the products and services. From her, I learned new things about my favorite watchmaker! I was particularly impressed by the size of this boutique (compared to my smaller hometown one) and the selection available. I was thrilled to try on the latest Bond watches and even the white-dial, sapphire-sandwich Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch. I did not end up buying a timepiece, but I hope to make one here someday. Aside from wristwatches, I collect fragrances. Here, I discovered Omega Aqua Terra Eau de Toilette pour Homme and purchased it as a souvenir to remember Hawaiʻi by. I didn't expect to be treated so well for this smaller purchase! Mahalo nui loa, OMEGA Boutique at Ala Moana!

Absolutely delighted with the assistance, patient and service from Hitomi, Alan and Jay. I visited on three separate occasions to look at watches as it took me a while to make up my mind as to what i wanted. Each visit I had was very professional, low pressure and helpful. I was never pressured and always treated with courtesy and respect. Offered water and chocolates each time. Much better interaction with staff than other watch stores or AD's in the mall. In the world of Veblen purchases the customer service factor goes a long way as does knowledge of said product offering. The SMP is ultimately more of an everyday watch for all occasions, with the great on the fly micro adjustment for warm and humid weather of Oahu. The SMP has proven to be the most comfortable (mechanical) watch I have and the most accurate as well. I don't understand the grief some have over lack of taper on the bracelet, but it is very comfortable and well balanced weight all around in my opinion. Overall, I am happy with my purchase and the entire experience. I will be back for any future purchases, as you have cemented a positive relationship of Omega and your boutique with me.

I've had my Omega 007 Seamaster for over 20 years and it has been with me hiking and diving around the world. I wore this watch for 20 yrs and really love it. I took it into Omega for my every two year battery change and was told by Hitomi & Alan the watch really needed to be sent to Seattle and fully serviced. They both did a great job explaining and showing me the internal issues with the watch and it helped my decision to go with the full service. I said " let's go for it" and have it fully serviced. They said it would take three months and the watch came back in a month. When I saw it, I was shocked. The watch looked brand new. Omega exceeded my expectations and I am so glad I went with the full service. I can't wait to wear it tomorrow, ready for another 20 yrs of exploring the world. I really appreciated Hitomi for her outstanding professionalism and customer service. She did a super job communicating with me throughout the process and she is truly an outstanding professional.

Bought my beautiful Omega Seamaster Diver 300M from the Ala Moana Boutique. I visited a few times while trying to make up my mind about which watch to buy. Andrea and Hitomi were both fantastic. I was very impressed with their knowledge of not only Omega pieces but also watches in general. I would definitely return should I decide to buy another Omega.

Purchased a Seamaster 300 from Hitomi. I have called the store a few months prior to arriving in Hawaii and Andrea was great! She recognized my the moment i mentioned i was from NY and called. Although she did not get the sale, she was professional and treated me and my guest with respect. We had just landed and drove here first thing after i picked up my car. Despite stories about boutiques treating anyone who walks with disrespectfully. The gentleman at the door and everyone treated everyone kindly even if they did not purchase a watch. Thank you Hitomi and Andrea! I will be back for a Apollo8! They surprisingly had that one in stock and i wish i bought that one instead! Also forgot to mention I was gifted a free omeqa cologne after my purchase!

Free sparkling water and chocolate with purchase ;)

I was in Honolulu with my family for vacation, and we stopped by Ala Moana mall (everyone has to at some point, at least for the food court). After buying some groceries at Foodland, I noticed they had an Omega boutique, and had to walk in. I wanted to check out the new Speedy, and they had it sitting in the front display case. I was wearing swimwear and if it were anywhere else, would be considered homeless :) but a sales clerk was happy to help me out and let me try it on. She had to open the front display case (imagine lots of keys, lots of mechanical windows/doors opening) then asked me to have a seat to try it on. I spent a solid 20 minutes talking to her about the watch and looking at it in the mirror. Uh oh, I guess I was going to go back to the hotel with it.. But, I told her I needed time to think about it, as the last watch I bought on impulse, I hated and ended up selling it. Zero pressure, and I left with an Omega book. [Three hours later] I ran back to the boutique from the hotel and bought the Speedy. Got some sparkling water and a chocolate while waiting for the bracelet to get resized. It was a great experience, and while I probably could have gotten it back home (and likely at a discount), it's a milestone watch for me and I don't plan on ever getting rid of it.

This review is based solely on my experience with the staff during my visit today…read more I've shopped at Pink Box multiple times in the past and have never had any issues, which is why this experience was disappointing. My mom and I stopped in because she was looking for earrings. She had mentioned before that Pink Box has cute selections at reasonable prices, so we decided to browse. While she was looking at earrings and pointing out styles she liked, I was helping her look through them. For context, I don't even wear earrings since I have large gauges, so I wasn't shopping for myself in that section. Afterward, I moved over to the claw clips and was looking through some butterfly clips to see if they came in matching colors. A sales associate approached us and asked if we needed help. We politely said no thank you and continued browsing. What made us uncomfortable was that after that interaction, the employee remained very close to us and appeared to be watching us the entire time. When we moved to a different area, she followed. Whether intentional or not, it felt as though we were being monitored because she suspected we might steal something. My mom and I both noticed it, and it made the shopping experience uncomfortable. We are paying customers who have visited this store before and have never given anyone a reason to be suspicious of us. I understand that retail employees have a job to do, but there is a difference between being attentive and making customers feel like they're under surveillance. Unfortunately, because of that experience, we didn't feel welcome during our visit.

Definitely worth a stop if you're into kawaii, Japanese goodies and stationery, but also could be worth being aware of which characters are currently featured. A lot of the items, such as their various stickers, are reasonably and fairly priced -- more so than other similar shops. Vivid print quality too. Other items were tad too pricey for me to justify (e.g. $8 for a very tiny thin canvas drawstring bag and other small pouches in the $30+ range).

Shopping in Chinatown, Honolulu, Hawaii…read more.. My mom was on the hunt for Year of the Dragon shirts for my sister in Colorado, my nephew, and my nieces. We went to Walmart, Don Quijote, Dillingham Shirt Outlet, and Maunakea Street in Chinatown. She found shirts at Jessica's Jewelryand Gifts, but she didn't get a shirt for my nephew's girlfriend. In a panic, mom called me to go back to Jessica's. They were sold out. Only XL gray shirts were left. I entered Maunakea Marketplace, where I had dropped her off the other day, but she didn't walk far enough in... to get to YaFangShi Fashion. On the day before Lunar New Year, I saw many shirts of various colors and different designs hanging outside a shop! Inside, the clothes were neatly folded, and the dresses were hanging for better viewing. OMG... It was like t-shirt heaven! The shop was called YaFangShi Fashion. The friendly owner introduced herself and said that her name was Lian and that she's been here for 24 years! I had passed by often... and even bought a lavender-colored Cony umbrella, but didn't know the name of the shop. Looking around, Lian even had dresses, tops, jackets, footwear, accessories, and pants! I got a navy blue, medium-sized Year of the Dragon shirt for my nephew's girlfriend and gave it to mom to give to her on Lunar New Year. Everyone was happy! Yay! Happy Lunar New Year of the Wood Dragon!
