Professional and respectful customer service! I always enjoy coming back to the Omega boutique because I feel respected in there compared to other ADs or jewelers. I recently had my Seamaster (bought second-hand) inspected here for free. They offer a free, six-point inspection which is a general inspection of the watch. This includes water resistance, case/bracelet/component condition and movement health by timegraph. If you can leave your watch for longer, they can also do a power reserve test. Jay was excellent with both email and in-person service as I came to drop off the watch. I inquired about it and mentioned the tech was available for inspection. If you're going to go, I'd call ahead just to ask. When it comes time to buy another piece, I'll be sure to buy an Omega. read more

From her, I learned new things about my favorite watchmaker! I was particularly impressed by the size of this boutique (compared to my smaller hometown one) and the selection available. Absolutely delighted with the assistance, patient and service from Hitomi, Alan and Jay. I visited on three separate occasions to look at watches as it took me a while to make up my mind as to what i wanted. Each visit I had was very professional, low pressure and helpful. I was never pressured and always treated with courtesy and respect. Offered water and chocolates each time. Much better interaction with staff than other watch stores or AD's in the mall. In the world of Veblen purchases the customer service factor goes a long way as does knowledge of said product offering. The SMP is ultimately more of an everyday watch for all occasions, with the great on the fly micro adjustment for warm and humid weather of Oahu. The SMP has proven to be the most comfortable (mechanical) watch I have and the most accurate as well. I don't understand the grief some have over lack of taper on the bracelet, but it is very comfortable and well balanced weight all around in my opinion. Overall, I am happy with my purchase and the entire experience. I will be back for any future purchases, as you have cemented a positive relationship of Omega and your boutique with me. read more

I've had my Omega 007 Seamaster for over 20 years and it has been with me hiking and diving around the world. I wore this watch for 20 yrs and really love it. I took it into Omega for my every two year battery change and was told by Hitomi & Alan the watch really needed to be sent to Seattle and fully serviced. They both did a great job explaining and showing me the internal issues with the watch and it helped my decision to go with the full service. I said " let's go for it" and have it fully serviced. They said it would take three months and the watch came back in a month. When I saw it, I was shocked. The watch looked brand new. Omega exceeded my expectations and I am so glad I went with the full service. I can't wait to wear it tomorrow, ready for another 20 yrs of exploring the world. I was in town and back home on my annual trek to visit family and friends in the islands. Ala Moana always brings back memories so make it a point to stop by at the mall. I walked past the Omega store and did a back track. ohhhh so many shiny and pretty watches in here. Unlike the stupid Rolex store that has 2 watches on display and 10 employees who want nothing to do with you. Here, I met the awesome Andrea who allowed me to try on the new Moonwatch. I've always eyed this piece but was kinda turned off by the large case size, but when I went to put it on, it was surprisingly nice and comfy on these dainty wrists of mine. Andrea was super knowledgeable about the history of the watch and shed a lot light on the brand. Was really impressed actually. I was sure I was going to come back in a few days to buy the watch. But as luck (for me) would have it, I found a pre-owned near mint example from a trusted seller that I got for a huge chunk lower than a brand new with taxes. Omega restored an old Omega watch that I have, and took great care in having it assessed for a quote (time for restoration and cost). Alan was super nice and helpful, and kept me updated as my watch made its way from Honolulu to Seattle, then to Geneva, and back to Honolulu. Despite the pandemic, the watch was restored and mailed back to Hawaii a few months ahead of the initial estimated repair time. I wasn't into watches before this, and the worksmanship on them are so good they can be passed on to future generations. The watch I have is older than I am, and doesn't even run on batteries, and is more reliable and durable than the digital watches we have now. The watches are nice to look at, but the Speedmaster is a class of its own, and is built to last, in terms of daily wear for decades and getting bumped around quite a bit. There was also a nice guy who intially helped me at the Waikiki store right before covid shut down the state, and he was able to look up the exact make and model of my watch in a catalogue book, which was pretty cool. read more

I had my father's vintage 1970s gold Omega Seamaster serviced and restored. I visited the store in November 2021 and started the process with Jay who provided me with the initial quote and updates as the watch made its way to Omega Geneva via the Seattle service center. I was fortunate that the watch did not require significant restoration work which resulted in a decrease on the initial quote. NOTE: you must be patient since this type of work can normally take up to 8 months or more to complete. Fast forward to July of 2022 and the watch arrived at the Ala Moana Boutique. I was impressed when viewing the watch for the first time. It had been thoroughly cleaned and polished with a new hesalite crystal installed. I was even more impressed when I inspected the watch further when I got it back home. They included a small plastic pouch with all of the parts that they replaced. For you watch enthusiasts, they replaced the train of wheels, pallet fork, numerous rubies, winding stem, clutch, hands and other misc. parts. In other words, this was a complete tear down and servicing of the movement. I'm assuming that they also tested the watch on a timegrapher and did the necessary calibration. I'll monitor the accuracy of the watch over the next few weeks. My thanks to Jay and Alan who worked with me through the entire process. I plan to add another Omega to my collection in the upcoming months. Great business and quality employees. read more

I was in Honolulu with my family for vacation, and we stopped by Ala Moana mall (everyone has to at some point, at least for the food court). After buying some groceries at Foodland, I noticed they had an Omega boutique, and had to walk in. I wanted to check out the new Speedy, and they had it sitting in the front display case. I was wearing swimwear and if it were anywhere else, would be considered homeless :) but a sales clerk was happy to help me out and let me try it on. She had to open the front display case (imagine lots of keys, lots of mechanical windows/doors opening) then asked me to have a seat to try it on. I spent a solid 20 minutes talking to her about the watch and looking at it in the mirror. Uh oh, I guess I was going to go back to the hotel with it.. But, I told her I needed time to think about it, as the last watch I bought on impulse, I hated and ended up selling it. Zero pressure, and I left with an Omega book. [Three hours later] I ran back to the boutique from the hotel and bought the Speedy. Got some sparkling water and a chocolate while waiting for the bracelet to get resized. It was a great experience, and while I probably could have gotten it back home (and likely at a discount), it's a milestone watch for me and I don't plan on ever getting rid of it. read more

Excellent customer service! I stopped in the boutique as my Planet Ocean Chronograph had a broken clasp that would sometimes open and very difficult to remove. I spoke to Alan and he immediately found that the issue was a missing screw. He checked his stock and found a replacement screw. Alan disassembled the clasp and was able to realign the spring and pushers and replaced the missing screw adding locktite. My clasp is now fully functional and secure now. I highly recommend this boutique. Thanks Alan for getting this done while we were walking around the mall. Mahalo! read more

From as far back as I can remember, I've almost always worn a watch and it was only a few years ago that I've started to really appreciate the amount of engineering that goes into a small metal case that can keep accurate time without the use of a battery. Just a bunch of gears and springs. The staff here are always friendly and very knowledgeable about each piece. Even those who didn't know me personally treated gave me their full attention, even if I walked into the boutique in shorts, slippers, and a tshirt. I've been pushed to the side in many other boutiques (not going to name any, but you've probably experienced it), but the Omega staff has always given me their full attention even before having a relationship with them. I would highly recommend visiting the boutique if you're looking for a special timepiece for yourself or as a gift. Definitely can't go wrong with Omega. read more

Being an avid horologist and collector of timepieces, I eventually led myself to come to this location for something that always has been in my mind. I emailed Alan, one of the boutique technicians there about a timepiece that piqued my interest. He was happy to answer all my questions clearly and patiently. Not only that, he ensured the timepiece was tucked away in the back so that I am able to take a look before making the decision for a purchase. Normally, boutiques or most authorized dealers will require me to make a deposit to hold a timepiece but this specific location did not do that to me. Once I got into the boutique and explained them about the specific timepiece, they made sure I felt comfortable. Alan brought out the timepiece and I examined it through a loupe. I am very meticulous when it comes to new timepieces and I've had times when quality control was an issue even with major brands like Rolex and JLC. Looked through it, it seemed like it has been wrapped in the protective sheet you would normally expect a new timepiece to be wrapped in, rather than it being a display model where you'd at times may see fingerprints or some random scratches. I asked multiple questions to Alan during this process and he made sure all my questions were answered and there were no doubts that I'm getting what it's truly worth. To make the purchase experience even better, I ended up with a free NATO strap, which is around $160 if I were to buy it since they support our military. I am glad that I finally have an Omega timepiece in my collection and it wouldn't have been possible if it weren't for Alan's professionalism and dedication for his customers. If you ever were to stop by the mall and want to start your horology adventure, I feel this is the right place to feel you at home, without anyone pressuring you to make a purchase. Went there at 10 am since I had my older parents with me and didn't want to shop when there were a lot of people there.
