Where I knock them down is my moving window ended at 2pm. At 215 I head heard nothing and I could not get ahold of anyone at the office (it was a Sunday). At 245 I had assumed they were no shows so I started moving things on my own. Around 315 I got a call they were on their way. A move earlier in the day delayed them and I respect this is a hard job but I would have liked communication of the delay.

First off, it took them over 4 hours just to load and unload, which is absolutely ridiculous given the size of my place. Then, when we arrived at the drop-off location, they left almost everything in the garage instead of bringing it inside like a professional moving company is supposed to do. It felt rushed and careless. Worse than that, one of the employees was incredibly unprofessional and made me feel uncomfortable during the move. The way he acted was completely out of line and unacceptable. It was not only unprofessional--it made an already stressful day much worse. I contacted the company afterward to express my concerns, and to my shock, they didn't seem to care at all. No apology, no solution, no attempt to make things right. Just total indifference. I had more miscellaneous scratches than expected on wooden floors and dinged the paint. But I would not have left a bad review based on that. When the crew arrived, they told me that they didn't have enough time to do my move because they had a seven hour move scheduled afterwards. I told them that I had described the situation to the estimator, saying that I could tell them the big items but simply had no idea how many boxes I would have. She suggested a number and gave me an hourly rate which I found acceptable, assuming that they would stay until the work was done at that hourly rate. Instead, I got 2/3 of my house moved. Some of that was my fault because I could've been more accurate if I had been finished packing when I made the appointment, but based on the shear number of rooms and large items I described the estimator could've done a much better job, or told me to call back as the moving day got closer so that I could update the estimate to assure enough time. Even if that, I would've gone back to the devil I knew too to finish the move. There were a few things that needed to be corrected from the move the prior weekend that I assumed they would do when they came back out, but when I called the next week to schedule the second move, the estimator he told me that he would charge for it in my current move despite the fact that it was work was left undone from the previous move. When I noted this, he said that they would've sent a crew out at no charge but they couldn't do it for free when they were sending new crew out. That was the final straw and I decided to use a different company.

That was the past experiences. This is now. I recently used this company to move from a 2 bedroom apartment to another 2 bedroom apartment (simple move). It was absolutely horrific. First of all, the movers were two hours late. I realize this happens in business. It's life. The problem is that the "crew" that was moving me did not call to update me on this which put our move right around rush hour traffic as opposed to 115pm which is when they were supposed to be there. I suppose I could get past this if it was the only thing that happened. Here's the more important items about the move: the 3 movers in my "crew" were unprofessional, very slow, very unmotivated, they tore my leather couch in more than 1 place (pictures attached), they chipped a very expensive custom frame I had made for an art piece, they damaged 2 lights in the elevator in my new building, they literally said (BEFORE THEY UNLOADED MY LEATER COUCH FROM THEIR TRUCK) that it would not be able to fit in the elevator or stairwell (lo and behold after I paid them each $40 cash or $120 total) the couch suddenly was able to make it from their truck to my apartment (with gouges/rips in two distinct areas -- pictures attached). In addition to this, the office quote that I received wasn't realistic to the actual time by about 2-3 hours and I had the movers take less items than I originally had quoted because I could see how poorly this move was going to be. I have not received a call back or acknowledgement of my disappointment in terms of professionalism and the damages to property. I should have refused to pay but I wasn't sure what to do as I felt somewhat hostage because I was at the mercy of the movers (once they have your belongings and start the move you're basically stuck with them. Unfortunately, there's no pause or shut-off button. As a part of life, moving has to be one of the top 5 most stressful things a healthy individual will go through. Two Men and A Truck managed to make this already expensive experience extremely stressful, unpleasant, etc. I will never use this company again and I wouldn't let a family member or friend use them either. I would have been better off canceling the move when the unprofessional, tardy, and sloppy movers got to my starting property and delayed the move until I found another company. At 1240 I sent a text that they were over 1.5 hours late with no contact At 2:11 I asked for a refund as we still had not contact and wouldn't need them any longer There were several attempts at calling as well, at approx 3pm I received a call from them that there was a problem with their last move and "the police had his phone" and he promised to refund 3/5 4:40pm asked why I hadn't seen the refund yet 3/6 9:30 PM asked why I hadn't seen the refund yet 3/7 They replied that they were in North Dakota and would refund that afternoon 3/8 requested the refund again Yesterday asked again and still no refund, and no communication. July 3, 2023 still no response and no refund. Just stole money and no regard for their customers.

He was trying to do all the work himself and ended up ruining my couch. He would've damaged many of my other belongings if my dad and I did not step in to help. I was told that even waiting a few more days would increase the cost. Holiday pricing was never framed as a premium issue to justify subpar staffing or service. I also never rescheduled the packing at the last minute, nor did I delay the crew because my home "was not ready." I did not need extra time to clean, and I did not prevent the crew from working efficiently. I have no idea where this claim is coming from, and it is not accurate. More importantly, none of the core issues raised in my review were meaningfully addressed: the decision to send one person to pack a three-bedroom, two-bath home; the lack of oversight; the dismissive and condescending communication; and the clear conflict of interest in supervision (the "supervisor" being the manager's wife). Those were management choices, not client-caused problems. I did not file a formal claim for every broken or missing item because I had already spent an extraordinary amount of time dealing with this company during an extremely stressful move and home sale. Choosing not to prolong that experience does not invalidate the condition in which my belongings were packed and delivered. Finally, the response itself is telling. Not only was the furniture damaged, but many of our items were not wrapped or protected at all. From the start, the packing job looked careless. Boxes were stacked without regard to weight, items were wobbling in the truck, and furniture that we specifically pointed out as expensive or fragile was left unwrapped. I even climbed into the truck myself and could clearly see that it was not packed properly. One of the movers (I believe his name was Rusty) appeared to be brand new and repeatedly dropped boxes while loading. At one point clothing items were literally scattered across the yard because he dropped them coming down the ramp. It was incredibly frustrating to watch. There were two other movers -- I think their names were Quintin and Axel. Only one of them was polite and apologetic. The other was extremely dismissive and arrogant. Every time my mom or I raised concerns about wrapping furniture or packing items more securely, he brushed us off and repeatedly reassured us that he had been doing this for 11 years and that everything was fine. We even labeled the boxes ''Fragile" or "Nothing on Top"- as pictured below. Clearly, it was not. Despite our multiple requests to properly wrap furniture and secure fragile items, those requests were ignored. Now we're left unpacking a truck full of damaged belongings that could have easily been prevented with basic care and professionalism. So when it came to our move in October 2025 we stayed with them. First of all, when we called for a quote to move to our new house, we specifically said that we needed several large items disassembled at our old home and assemble at our new home. They confirmed that could do the job. My husband also sent pictures of our large furniture items so they could visually see the items we had. They "disassembled" our air hockey table incorrectly as they did not take out the bolts. One leg on the air table was broken when we went to set it up. Secondly, they did not have the proper tools to disassemble our treadmill. So they did not take our treadmill from the house. One of the gentleman said to my husband "I wish I would have brought my own tools." When they completed the move, the mover asked to use my husband's phone to close it out as it would be quicker. He immediately hit 5 stars and handed the phone back to my husband. I had to call back to ask if they were going to come back to help us with the treadmill and if they now had the tool. I was then asked to buy the tool. One would think they would have the proper tools to complete the task. They did rectify the issue after I had to call them several times to come to the house and take the treadmill to our new home. We were told they don't work on some treadmills. During the estimating process, we sent pictures of the treadmill and the manual and was told it would be no problem. When we called about the air hockey table we were first told by Justin it was broken particle board so not covered. We sent pictures of the bolts that were not disassembled. Justin then changed his story to they only disassemble items so they're able to be moved safely. I asked how the parts were moved safely if they broke the leg. At that point Justin repeatedly began speaking over my husband and myself. I then complained that the mover set his own review at five stars. He stated we can go back and change it (implying that is their standard practice). We stated we would be changing our review and contacting the Better Business Bureau. Justin stated that sounded like extortion. To me, it sounds like someone almost learned a new word. It's not extortion to provide honest reviews and report failure to comply with the moving contract to the relevant consumer groups. We will never use their services again. I had bought a mattress protector bag and showed it to their lead guy twice. He forgot to use it. Mattress arrived dirty from pod. Lightweight fragile boxes were placed under heavy boxes. A fragile painting box was jammed into a space too small. Wood furniture and painted furniture were placed wedged against each other, damaging both prices. Furniture with glass was not wrapped and more glass broke. Tried to contact owner and no response. Scammers at best.

Scratches and marks/chips in wood items, leather furniture has punctures. We had 4 dozen furniture pads as well as moving wrap. The loaders didn't use any of the wrap and apparently not enough padding. Strap marks and dirt on my sofas, crushed totes due to improper loading and stacking. I can't recommend them considering how many items are now marred/damaged.
