Both Travis and Angel politely introduced themselves to us and did a fantastic job moving items out of storage, bringing items into our house, and rearranging items within our home. Before they left, they made sure to ask us if our moving services were completed. They're very polite. I would definitely recommend them and use their services again if needed.

I had a very disappointing experience with College Hunks and would not use them again…read more This was a move from a two-bedroom, one-office townhome to another home just 1.5 miles away, with many items already packed. Even so, Day Two lasted from 10:15 a.m. to 10:45 p.m., which is excessive for a move of this size and distance. The most concerning issue was undisclosed property damage. Basement stair railings were broken during the move and never mentioned. I discovered the damage myself, and the broken pieces had been hidden behind a water heater. A dresser drawer knob was also broken and not disclosed. Several items were mishandled -- sofa legs were removed and never reattached, cushions were left piled in the basement, and a treadmill was disassembled without my consent, with an extra part later found hidden. The treadmill was less than ayear old and I found the part under some blankets. Packing quality was extremely poor. I found broken dishes, and many boxes appeared to be dumped directly from drawers with little to no packing, resulting in boxes that looked like piles of junk when opened. This raises serious questions about why the move took so long, given the lack of care taken. One of the movers took over 45 minutes to wrap a club chair. I was ultimately charged about three times what I was quoted. The team lead wanted me to have him and the lead mover come to my home and discuss my concerns! I told him I was not comfortable with that. They have my claim and detailed report. This is a service issue that management needs to handle. There was no need for the two of us to get in a room and both tell our sides ofthe story. After several weeks, the team lead offered a small settlement, which I declined because it would not have covered the documented damage, let alone the misuse of time and materials. After that, communication stopped until I disputed part of the charges with my credit card company. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this company.

The team showed up an hour late to start, appeared to pack everything well such as dressers, chairs, table with blankets. After they left I had to sign the forms confirming the 200 various items we had. It wasn't later that I realized they marked on the initial pick up that 99% of our stuff was already "scratched, broken or chipped" - including pillows? Clearly a scam to start if off stating there is damage that was never there. We put an airtag in the shipment and watched it sit week after week in edmonton. 3 weeks It did not move from there, and then sat in Toronto for another 4 weeks. Week after week we called and were given attitude by the staff, never apologized to once. We had to have things put into storage as we don't have a home yet but countless items we needed immediately and would put in our rental. The excuse was constantly "they missed the truck, we have more shipments then usual and then that "we're only sending it to a storage unit so it shouldn't matter". Then we get the bill .. 8600$. Reporting we had over 8000lbs of things for a 2 bedroom home. We sold couches, and most heavy things to help bring costs down and there's no way to argue the weight. They THEN tell me they only take cash or e transfer... Nowhere does it ever say we can't pay with credit cards. My deposit was paid with credit card, but they clearly know that if you pay with credit card we could get money back. I paid the money and still our things sat in toronto for another 3 weeks. We have a young baby who was missing her clothes, crib, high chair etc requiring us to buy all new things at the new location as we only had what we could fit on the plane for 7 weeks. The shipment arrives ... our furniture completely destroyed. Missing brand new sneakers clearly ripped out of a shoe rack, boxes saturated in water and shredded, mattress topper ripped and black in color, pictures destroyed. The movers continuously asked us "is this all your stuff" as they had mixed shipments in the truck, they had no idea who's things were who's. I still have half the storage unit to go through and I've found 3000$ worth of damage. Dressers scratched and broken, falling apart. I submit my claim as I only had 10 days and was told based off weight of 0.60 cents per lb in damage that we are actually in the negative and would only qualify for 70$ - but we will not even see that as it must be over 350$ to get reimbursement. I am beyond outraged, they continue not to apologize or show any remorse or care for anyone's belongings. This company is beyond disgusting and I will be reporting them to every avenue possible and have my insurance company now involved to get the money back. They are thieves, scammers and this should be completely illegal. We were never offered additional insurance and have pictures of everything. Our belongings absolutely wreak of body odor and mold. Our insurance company has reached out to them and they were beyond rude to them. I am absolutely sick to my stomach they got almost 10,000$ from us and absolutely destroyed all of our belongings that we will have to front the cost to replace. I'm sick to my stomach to think they went through our belongings and picked out things they wanted and walked away with them. I'm going through the rest of the storage unit this week and I'm sure I'll find way more than 3000$ of damage. I AM SICK!!!!!!

I had an issue with timing & wrote the management about things & they got back to me promptly to handle my issue. I had more miscellaneous scratches than expected on wooden floors and dinged the paint. But I would not have left a bad review based on that. When the crew arrived, they told me that they didn't have enough time to do my move because they had a seven hour move scheduled afterwards. I told them that I had described the situation to the estimator, saying that I could tell them the big items but simply had no idea how many boxes I would have. She suggested a number and gave me an hourly rate which I found acceptable, assuming that they would stay until the work was done at that hourly rate. Instead, I got 2/3 of my house moved. Some of that was my fault because I could've been more accurate if I had been finished packing when I made the appointment, but based on the shear number of rooms and large items I described the estimator could've done a much better job, or told me to call back as the moving day got closer so that I could update the estimate to assure enough time. Even if that, I would've gone back to the devil I knew too to finish the move. There were a few things that needed to be corrected from the move the prior weekend that I assumed they would do when they came back out, but when I called the next week to schedule the second move, the estimator he told me that he would charge for it in my current move despite the fact that it was work was left undone from the previous move. When I noted this, he said that they would've sent a crew out at no charge but they couldn't do it for free when they were sending new crew out. That was the final straw and I decided to use a different company.
