It was super easy to order as well. Street Food Finder is an awesome tool to order from any food truck on certain times/days depending on location. We ordered a few minutes before 6 since we were really hungry (hours tonight were 6-8 pm). The website kept me updated on when the food would be ready - I received a text as soon as the food was ready. I had a Jalapeños Bacon Burger with tator tots, my husband had the Ultimate Buffalo Chicken with Fried Pickles. Everything was perfectly cooked and delicious! We were very happy with our order, and hope that they come back soon. Unfortunately, we were so hungry that I didn't get a picture of the food!

After speaking to a few different caterers on the phone, Salthouse was the obvious choice because we felt like they were really invested from the beginning, we weren't just another number to them. They asked personal, in-depth questions that made us feel confident that they were the people for the job. We wanted the food at our wedding to reflect Charleston's cuisine since we had a lot of out of town guests, and several guests said it was the best fried chicken and shrimp and grits they ever had. For cocktail hour, we had a beautiful Southern antipasto spread with biscuits, pimento cheese, and all the fixings. We were blown away during the tasting and they made everything so easy. They even coordinated the rentals for our linens through Snyder, which was a huge help. They were super professional and we had a perfect wedding day thanks to them. Highly recommend them for any event!

All ingredients were really high quality and everything tasted delicious! 10/10 recommend their professionalism and great quality food.

We really appreciated it, especially considering there was no guarantee we were going to go with Crazy Dutchman Catering in the first place. That really stood out to me and showed how they are genuinely great people. Once our venues were booked, we went to CDC for a tasting and loved them. They let us taste almost the entire menu, and it was incredible. They always kept our budget in mind and suggested effective ways to cut down on costs. They were very, very helpful and professional. We worked with Brooke during the wedding planning process and she was incredibly professional, fair, easy to work with and she always had our budget and best interests in mind. She gave so many great recommendations, and also took care of our rentals, which was actually cheaper than doing it on our own. What a relief, especially since we were planning from Chicago! CDC did a low country boil for our rehearsal dinner and then all of the food and bars at our wedding the following day. We are STILL getting compliments on how incredible their food was for both nights. Everyone is still drooling over their food - they are THAT good. Their staff was wonderful, professional, well-prepared, friendly and my guests and I appreciated all of their hard work. They made our rehearsal and wedding night go perfectly. We couldn't have had a better experience!

Based on my experience tonight, I would definitely recommend them for their excellence in service.

In addition, I had paid the entire amount for the catering when I was only required to provide a 50% deposit. When I questioned the amount of the refund as what was being withheld should only be based on the deposit, I was told that paying in full was my decision, not their requirement so they would withhold money based on the total paid. My good faith payment was used against me. I canceled 60 days prior to my event so they had ample time to adjust as I am not in the habit of financing services for other customers or providing short term business loans.
