First time getting K tip extensions. All I have to say is WOW WOW WOW! Toni is extremely professional, great personality, and attention to detail. She is also the only certified professional in the area for this specific extension. It is a process and she is an artist - so make sure you don't book anything else for the day - you don't want to rush the magic. I had a consult, color match, and the install for my sisters wedding. I went from blonde, to dark, and from mid length hair to long. It looks and feels so good and I plan on keeping them for a long time. THEY ARE UNRELIABLE & UNORGANIZED. Don't waste your time here I use to like going to this place until today. DON'T GO HERE IF YOU WANT RELIABILITY & ORGANIZATION. I booked my appointment 3 weeks in advance for Stella. The receptionist booked our apt on the day Stella wasn't even going to be in. I go in today at 12pm, they tell me that Stella is out of town. So one of the stylist said if I wait for an hour, she can help me. First off, why have that booking open if the person isn't there? Also, why don't you ppl check your appts to make sure?? I even got the text message confirming my appointment yet the stylist didn't even know I'd be there? UNORGANIZED Second, The other lady there told me she couldn't fit me in but then somehow did when she didn't even have time to complete my entire request. IF YOU'RE GOING TO FIT SOMEONE IN, ASK THEM FIRST WHAT THEY WANT DONE ENTIRELY, it's called time management. IF YOU DIDNT HAVE TIME TO DO MY HAIR WHY DIDNT YOU ASK ME FIRST WHAT TYPE OF CUT? The stylist just assumed I wanted a trim and a hair treatment. She started off asking me what I wanted and I told her I want a HAIRCUT & a treatment. Instead of assuming my cut was only a trim, she should've asked me from the start what type of cut I wanted so she can see if she had time to do it. Instead she proceeds with the scalp treatment. After getting the treatment and sitting on the chair for 15-20 min. letting it soak, she then tells me she can't even do the cut because it's too "extensive." IF IT WAS TOO EXTENSIVE WHY DIDN'T YOU JUST REJECT ME FROM THE JUMP? WHY DID YOU DO THE SCALP TREATMENT FIRST? Why did you tell me you can fit me in just to only do a scalp treatment for less than an hour? I am just in disbelief by the unprofessionalism. I paid $35 for a simple scalp hair treatment that didn't even work because after 3 hours, my scalp flakes are already back. Next time, please don't book your clients on days the stylist aren't there and don't do anything on your clients hair if you don't even have the FULL TIME to do their entire request. read more

Therese gave me the best hair cut I think I've ever had. She was knowledgeable about natural hair practices and recommended I use jojoba oil on my hair and a bore bristle brush to detangle. Thank you Therese My only complaint is that the Davines brand of hair products the salon uses are definitely not organic and non toxic like I was told. I should have insisted on reading the bottles like I normally would but I took her word for it. After looking at the ingredients of Davines brand Oi Oil I saw that it contains synthetic ingredients that I would not put on my hair or skin. The first ingredient is cyclopentasiloxane which is a silicone. Just something to be informed of in case you care a lot about that like I do. I would definitely return, I'd just bring my own products to use if possible. read more

Got my hair cut, colored and styled by Therese. The color and cut were amazing. The salon was clean and they made sure to carefully follow Covid practices. Great music and decor. Therese explained what she was doing and why and also gave me great styling tips. Costs were super reasonable and I loved the products she used so much I bought shampoo, conditioner and hairspray from them! I hate to leave a bad review, but after multiple bad experiences over several months I feel the need to share. First of all, if you make an appointment be sure that you get the automated text confirming your appointment the day of. It is very common for them to forget to put your appointment in or put it on a different day. This happened to me three times. Secondly, I got my hair dyed by the new stylist from LA and it wasn't what I asked for at all. I showed her a picture of highly contrasted dark brown and dark red hair and made it clear that I wanted two distinct colors. Instead she bleached some highlights into my hair then dyed my entire head red. It turned out pretty enough, it just wasn't what I asked for. Then she got fed up with me when I tried to describe the cut I wanted and ended up giving me much longer layers than I wanted. She said that curly hair wasn't her specialty. I had to go back and get another hair cut. Third: When I went back the tall blonde cut my hair (I am terrible with names). She noticed that I was just there a little while ago and was apologetic about me having to come back. I will say that she has always treated me very well and remembered who I was. Unfortunately, while she did give me higher layers like I asked for, it ended up as a mullet. I specified the length that I wanted the top layer to be and that I wanted it layered all the way down. We agreed that shaggy was the way to describe it. I imagine that my mistake was telling her she could do whatever she wanted with the hair around my face. She cut huge chunks into the front, ear length and going back a good two or three inches. So I have short hair until the side of my head. I have no idea why she did this unless she was trying to frame my face and cut too much, but it's definitely a mullet. They are generally very nice and I'm sure they would fix it if I went back. But I would just rather find a salon where I didn't run into these problems regularly. read more

A couple months ago my hair was absolutely demolished, RUINED. I went in to get my ROOTS bleached and I had some left over purple shampoo in my hair so the lady doing my hair thought it would be a good idea to completely bleach my entire head of hair down to my tips (note: my entire head was already bleached) to get the purple out which would literally come out on its own with one or two shampoos.long story short MY HAIR IS PRACTICALLY GONE TODAY. since that day my hair has continually been falling out, I have had so many chunks of hair just fall out and break off.. Number one rule of hair is to never put bleach over bleach, I didn't know what I was thinking trusting this ammature. My hair won't be the same for a couple years and it completely ruined my confidence. I don't recommend coming here if you care about your hair. read more

I LOVE this new salon in eureka- it is the perfect combination of beauty outside and in. The tea bar is fantastic, and I can't wait to teach a Kundalini yoga class in the yoga room- yes a yoga room!!! The color bar is such a contemporary concept! I love sipping champagne while reading a magazine and getting my hair colored, vs staring at myself in a mirror. Megan James, the owner, has been doing my Dreamcatcher Extensions- I now have short, light, full and fun hair- next time maybe I will be Barbie doll long again and darker- who knows! Megan is a fabulous colorist. Her team at the salon are very knowledgeable about every part of having great hair- it would be a super easy place to have a large party of friends or family and everyone could get something done. Plus, the salon is in week 4 of being a "green circle" salon, which means that the Om Zone is a sustainable company with no trash impact.
