Cute little spot tucked in behind a thrift shop. There is a desk which leads to a private hallway with a treatment room, lounge, and private bathroom. The lounge was a good size for two or three folks to relax and the staff encouraged bringing in snacks. The treatment room was warm and cozy and we both enjoyed our 60 minute facials. I added on a scalp massage/hair oil treatment that was so nice, my hair still feels great after 2 washes. The face mask applicator felt like butterfly wings on my skin. The only cons were that the lobby was quite cold and I wish I was walked through more of what was used on my face for each step. I would definitely go back! read more

I'm a massage connoisseur and I went here for the 1st time today and got a massage from Ash. It was amazing. She seemed super intuitive and clear and she made this pain in the joint of my shoulder disappear. It's been hurting for months and I didn't even mention it because I thought it would take months of physical therapy that I have scheduled. I may or may not have fallen asleep for about 5 minutes because I was so relaxed... Jayna is THE BEST. Highly communicative about her products and practices, as well as scheduling. I appreciate that I can just pop online to make a quick appointment. She is also flexible in terms of my needs, from straightening out my weird eyebrow regrowth patterns to offering me a pillow for under my knees so my lower back doesn't hurt after lying down for long periods of time. I'm the kind of person who always gets nervous when I do something for the first time or go to a new place for the first time, so I was nervous when I showed up to Jayna's Studio, but her gentle vibe and sweeter-than-honey smile immediately put me at ease. And that studio, so relaxing! She's got the softest sheets and blanket on the table, the perfect warm Lighting in the room, and the temperature is comfortable. She began with a consultation & got a feel for what my skin is like. From the second Jayna started the facial, I didn't want it to end. The products she uses are top-notch, her technique & flow are phenomenal, and her voice is so soothing! My face has never felt better! After my first facial, I left Jayna's studio with a glowing face and a warm heart. My partner and I try to to make a point of getting a facial once a month when schedules permit. Located in the back of an adorable fabrics store called "Buttons", The Faces of the Moon is a peaceful, clean and gorgeously-appointed studio that makes you feel like you're walking into a sexy (warm) igloo. I was totally blown away by the bliss... and the prices! More than reasonable for what you get: Jayna started off by waxing my lip, which she did with great attention to detail - checking all angles to make sure there wasn't a hair left. Then we started the facial.... my oh my! It was magic. The line of products Jayna uses is to die for. All natural, sustainably-sourced and woman-owned. They feel like butter going on and smell like stepping into a beautiful garden on a warm spring day. Jayna is very knowledgeable about the ingredients and knows how to massage them in just right. My skin was so happy to be breathing all of the goodness in. Afterwards, Jayna took me out to coffee at a super cute cafe across the street. Everything about the experience was enjoyable!
